EU To Alienate Citizens Who Aren't Christian?

If Angela Merkel has her way, they will. According to an article in the Guardian, she wants to "enshrine Europe's Christian values in a new version of the EU constitution." Oh, but is this really her idea? Not quite. She endorsed the Pope's idea. I don't speak for everyone, but to the Pope I say, SHUT THE HELL UP. It's none of your business what the people in Europe do. Why don't you concentrate on rounding up your pedophile priests and stay the hell out of everyone else's business? And, does Merkel not get it that there are more than just Christians living in Europe? Somehow, I don't think she really cares.

What does this mean for EU citizens? Time will tell whether or not this is successful. If this is successful, it's going to alienate far more than just European Muslims and Jews. There are many people with different religious beliefs out there, or people who aren't religious at all. This is just another attempt to shove Christianity down the throats of people who aren't Christian. Hopefully this attempt will be defeated.

Rumsfeld Has Lost His Mind

Are you kidding me? This whack job can't be serious. Donald Rumsfeld honestly believes that someone getting a medal is far more important than talking about the criminal behavior of the military. He has lost his fucking mind.

It's Because She's Gay

An Alabama woman who just happens to be gay was disqualified after her victory in the Democratic primary for a statehouse seat. The reason given is because she didn't turn in a campaign finance report on time.

Bullshit!! It's because she's gay. That's why she was disqualified. Why can't you just tell the damn truth for once in your life? If you use that asinine excuse, then you have to disqualify the candidates in the governor and lieutenant governor races. They didn't turn their reports in. You also have to go back and make null and void any results of previous elections dating all the way back to at least 1988 because the candidates never turned their reports in on time either, if at all.

People with a brain know exactly what this is all about. This is about silencing a gay woman. This is about keeping gay people out of politics. What's next? A ban on gay politicians, or a constitutional amendment to ban gay politicians from seeking any kind of political office? Somehow I don't think that's too wacky of an idea for some ignorant, bigoted, homophobic, right-wing Christian lunatic to come up with.

Former POW Jessica Lynch is pregnant. Why is this news? And how exactly is her pregnancy different than any other pregnancy out there? It's not, and it must be a pretty damn slow day for news when they have to report on the reproduction news of a former POW. Who cares that she's pregnant!!

Boycott SURVIVOR!!

I most certainly will be boycotting the upcoming season of Survivor. According to Jeff Probst, the network was concerned that this might offend viewers. Um, duh Jeff!! It amazes me to some extent, but not totally, that in the year 2006 people still have to deal with the issue of race because you have ignorant people out there.

What does CBS and the brains behind Survivor expect from viewers when they're going to take 4 groups of people that are put into specific racial categories, and segregate them? Are they expecting viewers to cheer them on?

Probst was quoted in another article as saying that Survivor is a "social experiment." What exactly is the experiment here Jeff? Is it to see if people of a particular race can live together in peace and harmony? Or is the experiment to see if people from all four races can live together in peace and harmony once they're all put together? Maybe it's to see which race is the strongest, and that answer will be based on the race of the winner. WHAT IS IT?

No genius!! Going to Iraq in the first place was a disaster. Leaving Iraq just might be what will stop all the death and destruction, at least on our part. A woman in Watertown, NY was dismissed from being a Sunday School teacher after 54 years of teaching because the minister was interpreting a Bible passage that states, "I do not permit a woman to teach or have authority over a man. She must be silent."

Pro-Polygamy Rally

Children of polygamists in Utah spoke at a pro-polygamy rally in Utah. One speaker at the rally who was one of several dozen children said, "We're not brainwashed, mistreated, neglected, malnourished, illiterate, defective, or dysfunctional."

No, but what your parents have done is AGAINST THE LAW!! Apparently they don't care about a little thing like that. After all, they're living by God's Law!!

A Tragedy? Give Me A Break!!

I don't know whether or not this story is true, nor do I really care. I just wanted to comment on something that was said. According to the story, J-Lo took a home pregnancy test and got a positive result. But when she went to a doctor and took another test, it was negative. The comment was made that this was a tragedy. Give me a break!! Tragedy? The woman wasn't even pregnant to begin with. So, what now? Negative pregnancy tests are now considered tragedies? I can think of plenty of things that could be considered a tragedy. But this is not one of them. If this story is true, she had a negative pregnancy test. That's it. It's not as if someone died. Now death is a tragedy, not a negative pregnancy test.

Commit A Crime, Play Football Before Doing Your Time

In Ohio, a judge ruled that two football players will be allowed to play football for the season at their high school before they must do their time for their crime.

Not only is this decision outrageous, but the fact that they weren't charged with attempted murder is baffling to me. They claim it started out as a prank. But what they did could have killed someone. It left one person with brain damage, and another person with a broken neck, arm, and leg.

What does this ruling teach us? I guess it says that if you're an athlete and commit a crime, you will be allowed to continue participating in your sport before doing your time. I guess it says that athletes have redeeming qualities but non-athletes don't. After all, the judge said that he sees positive things about participating in football.

The father of one of the criminals said, "I don't know why this is about football players. Why isn't this about student council or track?" Um, because your son committed a crime and just happened to be a football player. No punks from the student council or track team committed this crime, that we know of.

The mother of one of the criminals said, "With this stunt, he was a child." "Now he's an adult." Hmm, so her son was 17. I think the "child" was old enough to know better. I think the "child" was old enough to know that you don't do stupid things because they have consequences if something happens as a result of your actions. The "child" should have been tried as an adult. The "child" is lucky that he didn't face attempted murder charges which is exactly what I would have charged them with if I had been the prosecutor.

It amazes me that these parents and some other people are completely brainless and would defend their children no matter they do. If they had killed someone as a result of their little "stunt" or "prank," what would the parents be saying then? Oh please don't charge my little boy with murder. He's a good boy who deserves to play football and live a normal life like everyone else. GIVE ME A BREAK!! It's that very attitude that encouraged these "children" to pull such a "prank" in the first place. They did it because they could and because they wanted to. Now they're being rewarded for what they did by being allowed to forego their punishment until the end of their high school football season. Oh yeah, I bet they learned their lesson!! NOT!!

Remember people, if you're an athlete you'll get special treatment. If you're not an athlete, you're screwed. Enjoy your 20 to life!!

What The U.S. Wants In Cuba?

Funny, but the last time I looked, the United States was not the United States of Cuba. Yet, once again the US government demonstrates that it doesn't know how to mind its own business.

Fulfilling A Dream?

Joining the military is fulfilling a dream? What exactly is that dream? Is it the dream of being part of a regime that goes to war whenever and wherever they feel like without any justification? Or is it the dream of murdering innocent men, women, and children in the name of freedom and democracy?

I find it very interesting that the military had to change the recruiting age limits in order to fulfill their quotas. I find it interesting that more and more, the military is recruiting "old" people because they can't fulfill their quotas. What's next? Are they going to start recruiting 80 year olds, or 8 year olds? It wouldn't surprise me if they did.

It's pretty pathetic that people think joining the military is fulfilling a dream. I guess we know what you truly dream about, death and destruction. And the truly pathetic part about this whole story is that these older recruits actually think that they're going to be going to study helicopter repair or something like that. You're going to WAR, not some repair shop. When they're over in some other country, most likely Iraq, let's see how fast that "dream" becomes a nightmare.

It's being reported that a letter was received that made threats about blowing up the Taj Mahal. Can I get an oh please?

Seriously, why would Al-Qaida want to blow up the Taj Mahal? The story doesn't specify a reason that they want to blow it up. So, do they want to blow it up simply because they can? Is it yet another scare tactic, designed to keep people in line? Or maybe the Taj Mahal looked at them the wrong way. I don't know. You tell me!!

This Is A Role Model?

This is who we consider to be a role model? I don't think so. Beyonce Knowles admitted to going on an all liquid diet to lose 20 pounds for her role in the upcoming movie Dreamgirls.

Let's call it what it is, starvation. She starved herself to lose 20 pounds for this role. I love how she insists that she needed to lose the weight. Why? Was it because you thought you were fat? Or was it because the powers that be for this movie told you that you were fat and needed to lose the weight? Have you taken a look in the mirror lately? You're not even close to being fat.

Another thing I find really interesting is that she says that she doesn't recommend it to people who aren't making movies. Really? I'm confused. So let me see if I have this straight. She doesn't recommend it to people who aren't making movies (i.e. people who aren't famous). But, it's okay for those who are making movie. Interesting logic there!!

But not to worry people. It's okay that Beyonce starved herself, oops, went on an all liquid diet to lose weight. It's okay because as soon as she was done filming the movie she put the weight back on. I ask again, this is a role model? What kind of message is this sending to all the Beyonce fans out there? What kind of message is this sending to anyone really? By doing this, she's conveying a message to the world that it's okay to do what she did. By doing this, she's conveying a message to the world that it's okay to do damage to your body, because the ends justify the means. Great job Beyonce. I wonder how many of your young female fans out there are going to go on the "Beyonce" diet now. Bravo Beyonce!! You're a great role model. NOT!!

Osment To Be Charged

The website TMZ broke the news that actor Haley Joel Osment will be charged with driving under the influence, along with other charges.

I see that people are yet again defending a drunk driver. I'd really like to know what people won't defend. I knew when I heard that Osment had been in a car accident that there was more to the story than just a car accident. But now people want others to feel sorry for Osment. Boo hoo for the "poor", "misguided" little boy. The rich brat apparently had nothing better to spend his millions and millions of dollars on than booze and marijuana. Yet, I'm supposed to feel sorry for an 18 year old man that has all the money in the world to do with what he wants, and he chooses to trash himself and his image by driving drunk? I don't think so.

You see, there's the problem with people in this country. They refuse to place blame where the blame belongs. This belongs solely on the shoulders of Osment. He chose to drive drunk. He chose to drink. People shouldn't feel sorry for him. They shouldn't excuse his criminal behavior by acting like he's a misguided little boy. That's probably exactly what got him into this situation in the first place. People probably never told him no in his life. So he did whatever he wanted to do, which includes driving drunk. He apparently gave no thought to the consequences of his actions. He apparently gave no thought to what might happen to others as a result of his actions. He's lucky that he only injured himself in this crash. He could have very well injured or killed others.

But as we saw today with Mel Gibson, this "poor" "misguided" little boy will get off with a slap on the wrist, a mediocre fine that is a piss in the bucket for him, a few years probation, and a stint at AA.

The Media Whores Are At It Again

The media whores are at it again!! This time, they're defending an alleged sex offender. Since when in this country has the child sex offender, rapist, murderer, etc. become the victim, and the victim becoming the perpetrator?

The media whores are so desperate to hold on to the notion that John and Patsy Ramsey murdered and raped their child that they're willing to go so far as to discredit and practically beg for this alleged sex offender to be proven innocent. Wow, great job people!! Go on, go ahead and defend a scumbag. I believe in the notion of being innocent until proven guilty. However, the media whores want so desperately for this scumbag to be cleared. They want so desperately to continue their almost decade long crucifixion of the Ramsey's. They're so desperate in their effort to hold on to that notion that they're willing to believe that this scum of the Earth is only looking for his 15 minutes of fame rather than to admit that they've been so disgusting and hideously wrong for almost 10 years.

To top it all off, a man who claims to be a crusader for tougher restrictions on sex offenders, Mark Klass, is so willing to believe that this alleged sex offender is a 15 minutes of fame seeker. What was the point in fighting for the rights of victims Mark? What was the point in fighting for tougher penalties for sex offenders Mark? This man was following your own murdered child's case Mark? Yet you choose to believe that he's innocent. Do me a favor Mark, don't pretend to be looking out for victims. You clearly aren't if you would defend this scum. You're no better than the media whores. You're no better than this scum. In fact, you're worse in my opinion because you of all people should know better than to defend him.

A woman in Texas believes that she has "God's Water" coming out of a tree in her yard. She says that her insurance agent put some of the water from the tree on a spider bite, and it disappeared. Hey, I burned my wrist pretty badly yesterday on some hot fudge that splattered all over the place. I ran my wrist under cold tap water. My burn disappeared. I should shout the news out for all the world to hear. I have God's Faucet!! Give me a break people!! God's Water? What's next, the Godmobile? What a frightening world we live in when people truly believe that God's Water is coming out of their trees, Jesus appears on their grilled cheese sandwich, Mother Theresa is on their toast, and the Virgin Mary is on a tunnel wall.

It's About Time!!

A Roman Catholic Bishop in California is facing possible criminal charges for his delay in notifying police of child sexual abuse accusations against a priest. Before you ask, this is not a witch hunt. He violated the law by failing to report these accusations. Therefore, he deserves to be charged.

It's about time these individuals are charged for what amounts to aiding and abetting child sexual abuse. The Catholic Church is not above the law, and therefore they deserve to be punished for turning a blind eye to countless accusations of abuse perpetrated by priests. They deserve as harsh a punishment as the priests who do the abusing. I refuse to make a distinction between the abuser and the abuse facilitator. They allow it to happen, and often say nothing.

I applaud prosecutors for considering criminal charges in this case. It's about time someone stood up to the Catholic Church and told them that if you allow abuse to take place and say nothing or delay saying something, you're going to find yourself standing in front of a judge. Throw the book at this bishop. Perhaps maybe when he's facing some time behind bars, he might rethink his use of "caution" when deciding whether or not to report sexual abuse allegations.

In The Garbage? How Dumb Do You Think We Are?

The airports across the country promised that all the items that were discarded would remain in the trash. How damn dumb do they think we are? You can't honestly tell me that the cases of Napa Valley wine at the very least will remain in the garbage.

As the article stated, officials in Pennsylvania were considering removing some items from the bins, and reselling them on E-BAY. Passengers didn't voluntarily give up these items. They were ordered to give up these items. How dare you sell THEIR items, and make a profit off of it. I don't give a damn what the money would be used for. How dare you!! They have some nerve taking items that people were forced to give up, and then reselling them. Do they need money that badly? This is absolutely pathetic!!

On another note, how stupid are Americans? One woman in the article said that before long we'll be flying naked, and she's okay with that. Are we that stupid that we would do just about anything our government told us to do, including flying naked on a plane? Oh let me guess, our clothes can be fashioned into a bomb and blown up using our electric car keys, therefore we must fly naked. In what fantasy world are we living in? I thought this was America, but it certainly doesn't sound like it.

Regardless of what you think of them, the British police holding the lastest terror plot suspects have allegedly violated international law by refusing to give food and water to at least one suspect, among other things. Oh, but the "civilized" countries of the world don't violate international law!! No, not much!!

Why Do They Hate Us? Gee, I Can't Guess!!

A recent Gallup poll clearly showed the hatred and ignorance of Americans when it comes to Muslims. Listen to these stats.

• 22% of those polled said they would NOT want a Muslim neighbor
  
• 34% of those polled said that Muslims in America back Al-Qaeda
  
• 49% of those polled said that Muslims in the US are loyal to America
  
• 39% of those polled said that Muslims should be required to carry a special ID card
  
• 39% of those polled said that they hold some kind of prejudice against Muslims
  
• 44% of those polled said that Muslims have religious views that are too extreme
  

And we have the nerve to ask, why do they hate us? Gee, I can't guess!! I realize that only about 1,000 people were polled. But I tend to believe that if these questions were asked of every American, the numbers would be far higher than they are with this group of people. Interestingly enough, those people who actually knew someone who was Muslim had a more favorable view of Muslims.

The most disturbing response I found out of all of this was the response about ID cards. Correct me if I'm wrong, but weren't Jewish people forced to have ID cards identifying them as Jews? I don't think we want to go down that route, unless we're willing to be compared to Hitler.

Do your research before you spew your vicious hatred, and bigoted views about a group of people who have done nothing other than choosing to follow a religious belief that you don't agree with. People said they wouldn't want a Muslim neighbor. Funny, but I don't think you could tell who was a Muslim and who wasn't. That's the misconception put out there by brainless, hate-filled individuals.. They think that Muslims have a certain look. They think that they all look alike, and Muslims must be of Arab or Middle Eastern heritage. So the next time you think you might be living next door to a Muslim, go ask them if they are. You might be surprised by what you find out. Personally, I'd be more concerned living next door to a right-wing, Evangelical Christian whack who is waiting for Jesus to rise from the dead, than I'd ever be living next door to a Muslim.

Evidence Of Using "Plot" For Political Gain

Gee, I can't guess who's going to attempt to benefit from the lastest alleged terror plot. Could it be the Republithugs? Nah, they wouldn't do anything like that. They don't profit off of tragedy. Nah, they never invoked September 11th in an attempt to profit politically from it. They wouldn't do such a disgusting thing. After all, they're the "good" Americans.

On Wednesday, with knowledge of the alleged plot, Dick Cheney was commenting on the primary election loss of Joseph Lieberman. He made the comment that by rejecting Lieberman, we the Democrats, were encouraging "the Al Qaeda types." Wow, so not only are we unpatriotic, soft on security and terrorism, "moonbats," traitors, and so on, but we're also encouraging the terrorists by exercising our right to vote for who we want. What's next Republithugs? Are you going to hand us a piece of paper at the polling places with a list of candidates that we must vote for, and if we don't you'll have us arrested or killed? I know some people might laugh at that comment. But if you really think about it, that's what it's pretty much coming down to in America.

George Bush gave a preview of that when he said, "If you're not with US, you're against US. You're with the terrorists." So I ask, how far are the Republithugs willing to take that? Are they willing to go so far as to have people arrested who don't share the same views as them? Oh wait, they're already doing that. Is death for the non-believers (Democrats, and anyone who thinks the same) next?

Don't be fooled people. The truth is, the Republithugs could care less about what could of or would have happened if this alleged terror plot would have been carried out. They would have made it a point to spin it to their advantage. Since it wasn't carried out, they will spin this to their advantage by saying that Democrats can't be trusted with your safety and security. They will spin it to their advantage by saying that Democrats are soft on terror. They will, as you already see, say that Democrats are encouraging the terrorists.

It must be nice being a Republithug. When someone doesn't agree with you, just call them a terrorist sympathizer and all is well. When someone doesn't agree with you, corral them into the "First Amendment Zone," well out of sight. When someone doesn't agree with you, have them arrested. And you know it's only a matter of time before someone who doesn't share the Republithug's position will be tried for treason and put to death.

Welcome To Hell, Oops...I Mean America

That's right folks!! Welcome to America, the land where your wishes mean nothing anymore.

A 16 year old man in Virginia is fighting for his life, literally. Next week he goes to trial, where a judge will determine whether or not his wishes to forego chemotherapy for an alternative route will be honored. This is not a case of a young man who is too scared to undergo chemo. He's already been through it once before, and in his words, it almost killed him. He was in remission, but now his cancer is back. At this moment, he is undergoing herbal treatments to treat his cancer. Social Services has been given partial custody of Abraham. They are seeking to force him to undergo a second round of chemo. His parents have been charged with neglect, despite the fact that their only crime is listening to their son's wishes and allowing him to undergo alternative treatments.

The likely outcome of the trial is that he's going to be forced to undergo another round of chemotherapy, against his will I might add. But what are they going to do if he refuses? Are they going to drag him out of his home kicking and screaming, transport him to the hospital, strap him down to a hospital bed, and force the deadly chemicals we all know as chemo into his body? Or perhaps they're going to arrest his parents, and use that as a tactic to force Abraham to "cooperate." Either way, it's a disgusting display of the outrageous overstepping of authority. The last time I looked, we didn't have children for the purpose of producing them for the state or for the country to do with them what they please. Yet, that is exactly what the state and the government is trying to do here. They're trying to force a man, despite being only 16, to receive medical treatment that he doesn't want. They're trying to force a man, who is at an age where he's able to drive, work a full-time job, and get married, to receive medical treatment that could very likely end his life.

What are they going to say then if he dies as a result of the second round of chemo, we were doing the right thing? The only people who give a damn about what he wants is his parents. Social Services is only doing this so that they can look good in the eyes of others, despite the fact that they're likely ignoring a real neglected or abused child while butting into this family's life. The oncologist is only doing this because he's on a power trip, and thinks he has a right to play God with this man's life. Wow, what a big man he is!! Oh, and don't forget that little thing called money that he would miss out on if Abraham were allowed to continue his alternative treatments. The judge, well, I'll wait to see what the judge decides. But, in essence, he's playing God too.

Wake up America!! You could be next!! All it takes is your refusal of medical treatment, an asinine medical professional who won't take no for an answer, and your government to be notified of your refusal, and you're Abraham. How many freedoms are you willing to give up? How many rights are you willing to have taken away? How many before you stand up and tell the doctors and the government TO STAY THE HELL OUT OF YOUR BUSINESS? You could be next!! Don't say nobody warned you!!

Who's Going To Foot The Bill?

Have you ever heard of anything more ridiculous? Now airline passengers are being forced to throw out any "liquids" before they board a flight because of some terror plot to blow up airliners using liquid explosives. This is absolutely ridiculous. And who's going to foot the bill for all these items that people have been forced to throw away? I suggest that everyone who was forced to throw away something before boarding their flight should send the bill for those items to the airlines, or better yet, HOMELAND SECURITY. How dare you force people to throw things away without offering them some kind of compensation for those items that have been discarded.

Do you realize how ridiculous this notion of liquid explosives is in relation to the average person? What average "Joe" is going to know how to create explosives using everyday products such as shampoo, toothpaste, or sports drinks? Unless he or she has done their homework and actually took time away from working 3 or 4 jobs to make ends meet in order to do research on how to do it, the average "Joe" has no clue. Oh, but for safety's sake, let's force everyone to throw all their liquids out because you know, it's better to be alive and be out a nice chunk of change, than to be dead. That logic is completely asinine. But what do we honestly expect? Next thing you know, they'll be forcing everyone who flies to fly naked because your clothes might be considered a weapon of mass destruction.

How Does It Feel To Be A Commoner, Charles?

I can't say that I really care about the phone of Prince Charles being tapped. Perhaps the question should be, how does it feel to be one of us Charles? How does it feel to be a commoner Charles? We commoners have our phones tapped all the time. Yet, we're supposed to somehow have sympathy for Prince Charles because his phone was tapped. I think he's going to have a hard time getting any sympathy from a lot of people.

Criticism of Israel?????

Why don't you just throw Israel a party and congratulate them on a job well done? You know you want to!!

If You Repeat A Lie More Than Once, Does That Mean It's The Truth?

I love the lie being put out there, and repeated over and over again. Joseph Lieberman didn't lose the Democratic nomination for the Senate because he was pro-war.

Some people voted against him because they were turned off by the fact that he announced that if he were to lose in the primary election, he would run for the seat as an Independent. In fact, many people said they were prepared to vote for Lieberman until he said that. He has nobody to blame but himself for losing those voters.

But I guess it's better to keep telling the same lie over and over again because then people will believe it eventually. He lost for far many more reasons than just his pro-war position.

The fact of the matter is, this man is on an ego trip. He talks about how he's going to do what's best for Connecticut and for America. I guess when he stood by and let the Supreme Court elect George Bush in 2000, he was just doing what was best for Connecticut and America.

This man has always done what's in the best interest of Joe Lieberman. When he first ran for the Senate, he said "I will not hold political office for more than 18 years." This was a reference to his opponent who had served 18 years in the Senate. Yet, Lieberman has served 18 years, and wants at least another 6 years in office. Hmm, I guess he has a selective memory. When he was selected in 2000 as Al Gore's running mate, he didn't devote his all to being elected as the Vice President. If he had, he would have given up his race to keep his Senate seat. But he didn't. He ran for both positions. When there was the dispute over the 2000 election, he could have stood up and objected. But he didn't. He put the kibosh on the opposition to Supreme Court nominee Samuel Alito. He supported the last minute legislation drawn up by the Republicans to stop the removal of Terry Schiavo's feeding tube. He claims to be for the average Joe (no pun intended), yet his wife was hired as a consultant for a major drug company lobbying firm. After she was hired, he introduced legislation that gave governmental kickbacks to the drug companies. For the average Joe, yeah right!!

Time after time, he has failed to do what's best for the people of Connecticut and for the people of America. This situation is no different. He can't stand the fact that people want changes in this country. He can't stand the fact that people don't agree with him. He can't stand the fact that people dared to take him on. And he can't stand the fact that people voted against him. I love how in his "concession" speech, he called himself an Independent Democrat. Yeah, okay!! What he needs to call himself is what he truly is, a Republican. I also love how he's decided to start a new political party which he has chosen to call Connecticut for Lieberman. Wow, and he's not on an ego trip? No, not quite!! He can run for the seat as an Independent all he wants. It doesn't mean he's going to win. The man clearly shows his audacity and arrogance when during his "concession" speech, he practically begged the people of the entire country to give him campaign contributions. If he wants to run for the seat as an Independent, he should pay for the campaign with his own money. He's the last person I would give a penny to.

Hadassah Lieberman, Joseph's wife was hired in 2005 as a consultant for Hill & Knowlton which is a major lobbying firm. And Joe is for the average Joe? I think not!!

Far Left?

Wow, so now we're the far left if we voted to throw Joseph Lieberman out of office? We're the far left if we disagree with the White House? No, we're sick and tired of what's going on in this country. I'll gladly take the title of far left!! This man needs to go, and it's about time someone stands up and says GET OUT!!

Do They Make A Card For Those "Special Moments" Elisabeth?

Elisabeth Hasselbeck, co-host of The View, flew into a tirade over the morning after pill last Wednesday. Among her ramblings, she said that the morning after pill should be reserved for those "special moments" such as rape and incest. Yet in the previous breath, she said that a baby which is the product of a rape or incest still has value. Which is it Elisabeth? Should a rape or incest victim be forced to carry that child to term, or should they be allowed to use the morning after pill? Apparently she can't keep her argument straight.

By the way, do they make a card for those "special moments" Elisabeth? Does she even realize how utterly sickening her choice of words were? Tell rape and incest victims that those "special moments" are okay because if a child is produced as a result, that life has value. Tell those victims that it's okay that they'll be forced to look at that child and be reminded on a daily basis for the rest of their lives that they were raped. Come on, I dare you!! Or better yet, tell them that they asked for it, that they deserved it!!

I guarantee you that she and others who think like her would never carry a rapist's child to term, no matter how militantly they preach that they would. I guarantee you that she would never force a daughter of hers to carry a rapist's child to term. She can preach all she wants about things that she's "passionate" about. She just shows how truly insane her remarks are. Oh right wing, religious, militant one, I suggest that you be the first one in line to adopt all the children of rape and incest victims if you so vehemently demand that they remain pregnant. If you're not willing to put your money where your nasty mouth is, take your "passions" elsewhere!!
