Pro-Lifer's Argument

I came across a rather ridiculous argument this morning regarding abortion. A pro-lifer was arguing that pregnancy is about sex, and you shouldn't choose to have sex if you don't want to get pregnant.

If this argument wasn't ridiculous, it would be laughable. What about the women and girls who don't choose to have sex, and were victims of rape? Apparently, in this person's mind, they chose to have sex. How anyone can justify rape is beyond me. But, this person seems to be doing just that. What they're essentially saying is, you may not have chosen to have sex but you still had sex so you should take responsibility for what happened.

I don't accept the lies from pro-lifers that if they were ever raped, they would have that baby. Some may, but I know that not all pro-lifers would. They would be the first ones in line to have an abortion. But what truly boggles my mind and I find absolutely deplorable is what pro-lifers are willing to do. They are willing to subject not only themselves but their wives, daughters, granddaughters, nieces, aunts, mothers, sisters, and even some grandmothers to unspeakable horror and trauma simply because they deem a fetus more important than the trauma that a pregnancy will cause a rape victim. They might as well rape the victim all over again.

Being pregnant should be a blessing, not a traumatic experience. Forcing a rape victim to carry their rapist's child is not only traumatic, but also punishment in my eyes. Nobody who is raped should be forced to have their rapist's baby. If you think otherwise, you're not human!!

Poland To Vote On Banning Abortion

A constitutional amendment was introduced in Poland that would ban abortions in cases of rape and incest.

This is yet another attempt to force women to carry the fetus of their rapist. How sick is that? I hope like hell that this is defeated. No woman should be forced to carry a fetus to term that is the result of rape or incest. Throw all the religious shit out the window. It just shouldn't happen. What's next? Forcing women to carry a dead fetus to term? Forcing women to die if their lives are at risk just so that the fetus MIGHT live? What a sick world we live in when we think it's okay to do this to women. What's even sicker is that there are women out there that think this is okay. They're not women though. They're sick pigs just like the men that think this is okay. And the rapists get off with as little as a slap on the wrist. FUCKING SICK!!

Nicaragua Slaps Women In The Face!!

Women in Nicaragua will not be allowed to undergo an abortion, even if their life is at stake.

MANAGUA, Nicaragua - Nicaragua's Congress has voted to ban all abortions, despite the concerns of diplomats, doctors and women's rights advocates that the issue has become politicized ahead of presidential elections.

If signed into law by President Enrique Bolanos, the measure would eliminate a century-old exception to Nicaragua's abortion ban that permits the procedure if three doctors certify that a woman's health is at risk. Congress passed the bill Thursday.

The Managua-based Women's Autonomous Movement has said it is prepared to seek an injunction to block the measure.

The bill has the support of the leftist Sandinista National Liberation Front, whose presidential candidate, Daniel Ortega, is trying not to alienate conservative voters in this predominantly Roman Catholic country ahead of the Nov. 5 election.

Bolanos has spoken out against abortions and proposed increasing prison sentences for women who have the procedure, as well as for those who assist them. Illegal abortions now carry a six-year prison term, and the president wants it increased to 10 to 30 years.

It was unclear whether Bolanos would sign the bill after lawmakers decided against increasing penalties. The president, who has 15 days to sign or throw out the bill, did not make any statements after the vote.

Congress approved the bill despite receiving a letter from EU diplomats and U.N. representatives urging them to hold off until after the election. U.N. Assistant Secretary General Rebeca Grynspan, who is in Nicaragua this week, also expressed concerns about the vote taking place before the elections.

Nicaragua's medical association urged legislators to postpone the vote as well, saying the issue had become politicized.

Ortega, who favored abortion rights as a young revolutionary, has said he has become a devout Roman Catholic and now opposes abortion. Some 85 percent of Nicaragua's 5 million people are Catholic.

Ortega headed the socialist Sandinista government of the 1980s and had a contentious relationship with the Catholic Church. But he has recently established warm ties with leading church figures in Nicaragua.

In 2003, Sandinista-backed women's groups helped a 9-year-old Nicaraguan girl who had been raped in Costa Rica return to her homeland to get an abortion, outraging the Roman Catholic Church.

Congressman Wilfredo Navarro, of the ruling Liberal Constitutionalist Party, said the exception to Nicaragua's ban has allowed women to persuade doctors to say falsely that an abortion was necessary for health reasons.

Aside from Cuba, which allows abortions during the first 12 weeks of pregnancy, Latin America has some of the world's most restrictive abortion laws. El Salvador and Chile also ban abortions in all cases.

Most of the other countries in this heavily Roman Catholic region allow abortion when a woman's life is in danger but deny it to victims of rape or incest, according to the New York-based Center for Reproductive Rights.

In May, Colombia's constitutional court legalized abortion in cases where fetuses were severely malformed, the pregnancy was the result of a rape or incest or the mother's life was in danger.

Around the world, more than a dozen countries have made it easier to get abortions in the past decade, and women from Mexico to Ireland have mounted court challenges to get access to the procedure.

I'm not surprised at all about this. Women are constantly losing their rights to everything. Why not add the right to control your own body to the list? Oh wait, that's because it's OUR bodies, not anybody else's. This problem can be solved pretty easily. Don't have sex with any man. As long as you don't have a right anymore to control your body or make medical decisions, don't have sex. If a man forces you to have sex, it's called RAPE!!

The question must be asked though. What happens to a man in Nicaragua if they rape a woman and make her pregnant? Does he go to jail? If a woman has an abortion, she's going to jail for at least six years. They want to make it ten to thirty years instead. So, what happens to the man that caused the situation in the first place? Is he going to rot away in a jail cell? Or is he going to be paraded around the country like a hero?

This just absolutely makes me sick. Men think that they have the right to control a woman, even control her body. They think that they have a right to rape a woman and face no consequences. But when a woman decides that she is not going to carry her rapist's baby to term, people call her a murderer and want to kill her or throw her in jail. The man on the other hand gets a pat on the back for being a rapist. Where's the justice in that?

And why am I not surprised that Daniel Ortega who is a presidential candidate in Nicaragua used to support abortion rights. But now that he's a Roman Catholic, he says to hell with women's rights. To hell with abortion rights.

What pro-life people around the world are saying to women is, "FUCK YOU. YOU'RE GOING TO BE RAPED. YOU'RE GOING TO BECOME PREGNANT. AND YOU'RE GOING TO CARRY THAT CHILD TO TERM. IF YOU HAVE AN ABORTION, WE'RE GOING TO THROW YOU IN JAIL. IF YOUR LIFE IS IN DANGER, WHO GIVES A FUCK. THE LIFE OF THE FETUS IS FAR MORE IMPORTANT THAN YOUR ASS. IF YOUR DADDY OR SOME OTHER MALE RELATIVE DECIDES THAT HE NEEDS TO HAVE SEX AND DECIDES THAT YOU'RE THE ONE THAT HE'S GOING TO HAVE SEX WITH, WHO GIVES A FUCK. AND IF YOU BECOME PREGNANT BECAUSE OF IT, WELL THEN YOU'RE THE FUCKING SLUT AND IT'S YOUR OWN FUCKING FAULT. OH IT WASN'T YOUR FAULT? STOP YOUR FUCKING WHINING. YOU ASKED TO BE RAPED. YOU ASKED FOR IT. YOU'RE THE SLUT. YOU DESERVED TO BE RAPED. WE DON'T GIVE A FUCK ABOUT YOU. IT'S ALL ABOUT THE FETUS. BUT AS SOON AS THAT FETUS IS BORN, WE DON'T GIVE A FUCK ABOUT THEM ANYMORE. AFTER ALL, IT'S ABOUT GOD. WE SPEAK FOR GOD. THEREFORE, YOU'RE GOING TO DO WHAT WE SAY AND IF YOU DON'T THEN WE'RE GOING TO MAKE YOUR LIVES A LIVING HELL. WE'RE GOING TO CALL YOU A SLUT. WE'RE GOING TO CALL YOU A MURDERER. IT IS THE CHRISTIANLY THING TO DO. JESUS WOULD BE SO PROUD!!"

Sanctity Of Life!! Blah, Blah, Blah!!

The Catholic Church is once again sticking their noses into a political matter. On election day, residents of the state of Missouri will have an opportunity to vote yes or no on an initiative to allow Embryonic Stem Cell research. However, now the Catholic Church is weighing in on the matter. As if they don't already tell people what to do, now they're telling people that they shouldn't pursue embryonic stem cell treatment because it ends a LIFE.

The funny thing is, the Catholic Church is constantly preaching about the sanctity of life, blah, blah, blah!! Yet, they don't preach loud enough when it comes to the Death Penalty or WAR. It's only when it comes to an embryo or a fetus that they cry SANCTITY OF LIFE.

I hope that the people of Missouri are smart enough not to believe the lies that are being told about this initiative. I hope that they're smart enough to decide for themselves what kind of medical treatment they would want to pursue if they developed diseases.

Here are the fact, not the lies that are being spewed by the Christian, conservative, right-wing, Bible-thumping whack jobs.

Stem cells could provide cures for many currently incurable or common diseases and injuries, such as diabetes, Parkinson's, cancer, heart disease, ALS, sickle cell disease and spinal cord injury. These medical conditions affect hundreds of thousands of Missourians – including a child, parent or grandparent in over half of all Missouri families. Unfortunately, some politicians in Jefferson City have repeatedly tried to pass state laws that would ban and criminalize important types of stem cell research in Missouri – and actually prohibit Missouri patients from having access to future stem cell cures.

That's why a coalition of patient and medical groups developed the Missouri Stem Cell Research and Cures Initiative which will appear as Amendment 2 on the November 7th statewide ballot. Passage of Amendment 2 ensures that all Missouri citizens will have access to any stem cell cures allowed under federal law and available to other Americans. It also establishes responsible boundaries and guidelines for stem cell research – including a strict ban on human cloning or any attempt to clone a human being.

Opponents of stem cell research frequently make many false and misleading statements about stem cells and Amendment 2. Below is a list of 10 key facts followed by background information that explains why the claims made by opponents are false or misleading. A complete copy of the Stem Cell Initiative and additional information are available on the website at www.MissouriCures.com.

10 KEY FACTS

The research and cures protected by Amendment 2 are already allowed under federal and state law. Amendment 2 simply prevents any unfair state bans.

Early stem cell research uses leftover fertility clinic embryos that would otherwise be discarded or stem cells made in a lab dish with the SCNT process.

Amendment 2 clearly and strictly bans any attempt to clone a human being.

Amendment 2 does not ask for or require any state funding for stem cell research.
Early stem cells could provide cures for diseases and injuries that have not been – and probably cannot be – cured with adult stem cells.

The claim that adult stem cells already provide cures for 65 or more diseases is false.

Amendment 2 bans the sale of human eggs and embryos and protects donors and patients.

Amendment 2 does not overturn any existing state laws – and it clearly requires compliance with general state laws, such as health and safety laws.

Amendment 2 ensures that all Missourians have a constitutional right to have equal access to stem cell research and cures available to other Americans.

The major institutions conducting stem cell research in Missouri are non-profit institutions.

FACT #1: The research and cures protected by Amendment 2 are already allowed under federal and state law. Amendment 2 simply prevents any unfair state bans.
There are two basic types of stem cells: adult stem cells and early, or embryonic, stem cells (ES cells). Research and cures involving both types of stem cells are allowed under federal law and under current state law in Missouri.

Unfortunately, some politicians in Jefferson City have repeatedly tried to pass state laws that would ban and criminalize ES cell research and cures in our state. Amendment 2, the Stem Cell Initiative will prevent any such unfair bans. It will ensure that Missourians continue to have equal access to any research and cures that are allowed under federal law and available to other Americans.

FACT #2: Early stem cell research uses leftover fertility clinic embryos that would otherwise be discarded or stem cells made in a lab dish with the SCNT process.

There are two basic sources of early stem cells: leftover fertility clinic embryos that would otherwise be discarded and destroyed and a laboratory process called Somatic Cell Nuclear Transfer (SCNT). SCNT is a recent medical breakthrough that provides a way to make ES cells in a lab dish for medical purposes, by inserting DNA from a patient's own cell into an unfertilized human egg that has had its own nucleus removed. ES cell research does not use or harm an embryo or fetus in a woman's uterus – and it does not involve abortion.

FACT #3: Amendment 2 clearly and strictly bans any attempt to clone a human being.

Amendment 2 bans human cloning and makes any attempt to clone a human being a felony crime. Opponents of stem cell research claim that making stem cells in a lab dish is the same thing as "human cloning." Medical experts and most other people disagree with that view and understand that "human cloning" means creating a duplicate human being – not making stem cells in a lab dish.
The official impartial summary developed by the Missouri Secretary of State clearly states that the Initiative will "ban human cloning or attempted cloning." When opponents filed a lawsuit claiming that the summary was misleading, Senior Cole County Circuit Judge Byron Kinder rejected their claim, concluding that the summary is "fair and accurate." His ruling was later upheld by a State Appeals Court and the Missouri Supreme Court.

FACT #4: Amendment 2 does not ask for or require any state funding for stem cell research.

Amendment 2 does not ask for or require state funding for any type of stem cell research. It simply prohibits state and local officials from arbitrarily cutting off some other funds (unrelated to stem cell research) that an institution normally receives, simply because the institution is involved in stem cell research. For example, it prohibits the legislature from cutting the Medicaid funding a hospital receives simply because it is associated with a medical school that conducts stem cell research with private funds.

FACT #5: Early stem cells could provide cures for diseases and injuries that have not been – and probably cannot be – cured with adult stem cells.

Adult stem cells are partially specialized cells that can turn into a limited number of body cells and tissues. For example, blood-forming adult stem cells in bone marrow can turn into certain types of blood-related cells. Early stem cells are "pluripotent," meaning that they are totally unspecialized cells that have the potential to turn into and regenerate any type of cell or tissue in the human body. Thus, the overwhelming majority of medical experts, medical organizations, disease foundations and patient groups agree that ES cells could provide cures for many diseases and injuries that have not been cured – and probably cannot be cured – with adult stem cells, such as juvenile diabetes, neurological diseases like Parkinson's and MS, spinal cord injury and dozens of other debilitating medical conditions.

FACT #6: The claim that adult stem cells already provide cures for 65 diseases is false.

In an effort to persuade people that early stem cell research is not important or needed, opponents frequently claim that adult stem cells already provide treatments for 65 or more human diseases and injuries. This claim is apparently based on a list created by an opponent of ES cell research named David Prentice. Amazingly, there are a number of medical conditions included on his list – such as Parkinson's disease and spinal cord injury – that are currently incurable with any form of treatment. Moreover, no existing FDA-approved adult stem cell treatments are available for the majority of the other medical conditions on the Prentice list. The truth is, although adult stem cell research has been ongoing for over 50 years, FDA-approved adult stem cell treatments are in general use for only about 10 medical conditions (primarily blood-related diseases, such as certain types of leukemia).

Opponents also make the misleading claim that ES cells have not provided any cures. This ignores the fact that ES cell research is a new field of research that has not even entered the human clinical trial stage at this point. Until human trials are conducted, the assertion that ES cells have provided no treatments is totally disingenuous. The same could have been said about any modern medical treatment before it was tested and approved for general use. In short, the claims opponents of the Initiative make about adult stem cells and ES cells are cynical distortions of the facts that are cruelly misleading to patients and unethically misleading to voters.

FACT #7: Amendment 2 bans the sale of human eggs and embryos and protects donors and patients.

In addition to banning any attempt to clone a human being, Amendment 2 ensures that stem cell research will be conducted ethically and protects donors and patients. Amendment 2 prohibits using a sperm and egg to create a human embryo solely for the purpose of stem cell research. It strictly bans buying or selling human eggs or embryos. It also requires that any human eggs or leftover fertility clinic embryos used for stem cell research and cures must be voluntarily donated with fully informed consent, and without any profits or fees.

The medical procedures involved when a woman donates her eggs for SCNT stem cell research are the same procedures that have been used safely and effectively for 25 years at fertility clinics. Moreover, Amendment 2 makes it clear that all stem cell research or treatments must comply with all general federal and state laws regarding the health, safety, rights and privacy of patients.

FACT #8: Amendment 2 does not overturn any existing state laws – and it clearly requires compliance with general state laws, such as health and safety laws.

Contrary to what opponents try to imply, research and cures involving SCNT and ES cells from leftover fertility clinic embryos are already allowed under both federal law and current state law. Amendment 2 simply keeps our state's policies aligned with federal policies by preventing Missouri politicians from banning any stem cell research and cures that are allowed under federal law. Amendment 2 also specifically states that general state and local laws will continue to apply to stem cell research and cures, such as the general laws regarding health care, taxes, and the rights, safety and privacy of patients and employees. And, nothing in Amendment 2 changes or conflicts with Missouri's abortion laws.

FACT #9: Amendment 2 ensures that all Missourians have a constitutional right to have equal access to stem cell research and cures available to other Americans.

The basic constitutional right guaranteed by Amendment 2 is the right of Missourians to have access to any stem cell research and cures allowed by federal law. Because federal law allows SCNT stem cell research, opponents like to twist the facts by claiming that Amendment 2 creates "a constitutional right to human cloning." That claim not only distorts what Amendment 2 actually says, it also conflicts with the generally accepted definition of "human cloning." The overwhelming majority of medical experts and other people understand that stem cells in a lab dish are not a "human being" and that making stem cells for medical treatments is not the same thing a making a human version of Dolly the Sheep. The truth is, Amendment 2 clearly and strictly bans any attempt to clone a human being.

FACT #10: The major institutions conducting stem cell research in Missouri are non-profit institutions.

Some opponents of Amendment 2 have made the absurd and insulting claim that supporters of the initiative have a "profit motive" for wanting to pursue stem cell cures. The truth is, the major medical institutions involved in stem cell research in Missouri – such as the Stowers Institute for Medical Research and Washington University School of Medicine – are non-profit institutions. And, the over 100 leading patient, medical, faith and civic organizations that support a YES vote on Amendment 2 are also non-profit organizations.

Stem cells have the potential to provide cures for more than 70 currently incurable or common diseases that afflict hundreds of thousands of Missourians and millions of other Americans. The shared motive of supporters of Amendment 2: The Missouri Stem Cell Research and Cures Initiative is to find cures for those diseases and injuries and ensure that the people of Missouri will have equal access to any stem cell cures that are available to other Americans.

Throw A Party!! The Smirking Chimp Says We're Winning In Iraq!!

Did you hear the news? Huh, did you hear it? The Smirking Chimp says we're winning in Iraq!! It must be so!! He wouldn't lie to us. Nah, never!!

What exactly is it that we're winning Mr. Chimp? And how do you define winning Mr. Chimp? Is it winning if we have 96 dead U.S. soldiers in the month of October alone? Is it winning if you've killed 650,000+ civilians in Iraq? We know damn well that it's not 30,000 or whatever number it is that you're claiming.

The following are a few interesting quotes from the Chimp's mouth:

"We are pressing Iraq's leaders to take bold measures to save their country. We're making it clear that America's patience is not unlimited," Bush said.

Bush called Maliki "the right man" to lead Iraq but emphasized "we'll push him," warning that US support would last "so long as he continues to make tough decisions."

"We've got patience, but not unlimited patience," he said.

America's patience isn't unlimited? How about the patience of the Iraqi people Mr. Chimp? Don't you think that they're fucking tired of America occupying THEIR country? Don't you think that they're tired of having to bury THEIR dead because the American military is so fucking trigger happy that they don't give a shit who the hell they kill or why? Don't you think that they're tired of having to bow down to a leader of YOUR choosing?

And our support will last as long as he continues to make tough decisions? No, more like as long as he continues to be your lap dog and lick your balls!! If he stops or steps out of line, is he going to end up at Gitmo? Or is he going to end up like Hussein?

Pot, Meet Kettle!!

Rick Santorum called his opponent Bob Casey "unqualified" for the job of Senator. This from a lunatic who brought his dead 20-week old fetus home so that his other children could have a bonding moment. A bonding moment with a DEAD FETUS!! Yeah, and who's unfit? The lunatic should be in a mental hospital, not pretending to be a Senator.

I'd say that a man who is sane is a hell of a lot more qualified than a psycho who plays with dead fetuses.

Victory In New Jersey For Same-Sex Couples

I must say that it's about time someone stood up and said that gay people should have the same rights as heterosexual people. Sadly, it took a court of law to say such a thing.

In its ruling today, the New Jersey Supreme Court ruled that the state's constitution gives gay and lesbian couples all the rights of married heterosexual couples.

I'm sure it's making Christian conservative, Bible-thumping, right-wing whack jobs piss their pants out of sheer anger at the thought that GAY people have the same rights as non-gay people. Oh, the horror!! God forbid a gay person has the right to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. God forbid they decide to pursue a life that makes them happy. God forbid they find love with someone and want to marry that person like any heterosexual person does. God forbid they have that right!!

Victory today!! Tomorrow we'll go back to the same bigoted attitude that we had before this ruling. We'll go back to discriminating against people based solely on their sexual orientation. We'll tell them that they're second class citizens. We'll treat them like second class citizens. And we'll all go to sleep at night happy as larks for having done so. The only problem is, many of us won't. Many of us won't stop until everyone is treated with the same respect and dignity that they deserve. Many of us won't stop until everyone is given the same rights. Many of us won't stop until discrimination is no longer a word in America's vocabulary. Many of us won't stop because we believe in equality, regardless of your sexual orientation. Many of us don't believe in being a bigot!!

So, today in New Jersey, the voice of fairness was heard. The right voice was louder than the wrong voice. Equality trounced bigotry. But only for today. There's still a major fight out there. I, for one, will be standing with the gay community in solidarity with them until everyone in this country has equal rights. I, for one, will be standing with the gay community in solidarity with them until the barrier between gay and straight people no longer exists. I, for one, will marry if I so choose when and only when gay people everywhere in America are afforded the same right as I'm guaranteed. I will not bow to bigotry and hatred. I will not bow to ignorance. Anything less than EQUALITY is unacceptable.

Australia's Howard Has Lost His Mind!!

Australian Prime Minister John Howard has lost his mind. He says, "Withdrawing foreign troops from Iraq before domestic forces can handle the country's security would weaken the authority of the United States around the world."

He has completely lost his mind. I don't know what drugs he's on, but the United States isn't the world's authority. They're not the world's police. The only authority that the government of the United States has is to govern the United States. They don't have the authority to govern the rest of the world, although they seem to think they do.

Keeping smoking that crack Howard. The more you talk out of your ass, the more laughable you become!!

The "Killers" Blow!!

Brandon Flowers, the lead singer for the band The Killers once said, "Controversy is never a bad thing." Apparently now he thinks it is, especially if you're "un-American" like Green Day.

The following is an article in which Brandon Flowers attempts to rip Green Day a new asshole. Sadly for Flowers, he looks like an American Idiot who's soiled his diaper two years too late!!

Brandon Flowers doesn't want to be an 'American Idiot.'

Brandon Flowers has criticised Green Day for what he sees as their calculated anti-Americanism.

In particular, Flowers singled out the track 'American Idiot' and the fact they filmed their DVD 'Bullet In A Bible', which features the song, in the UK.

"You have Green Day and 'American Idiot'. Where do they film their DVD? In England," The Killers' frontman told The Word. "A bunch of kids screaming 'I don't want to be an American idiot' I saw it as a very negative thing towards Americans. It really lit a fire in me."

Explaining he was offended by the set-up, Flowers added: "You have the right to say what you want to say and what you want to write about, and I'm sure they meant it in the same way that Bruce Springsteen meant 'Born In The USA' and it was taken wrongly, but I was really offended when I saw them do that."

The singer added he felt the DVD was a bit of a a stunt.

"I just thought it was really cheap," he explained. "To go to a place like England or Germany and sing that song - those kids aren't taking it the same way that he meant it. And he [Billie Joe Armstrong] knew it."

The Killers' frontman said he believed that his band's new album 'Sam's Town' is a much better representation of America.

"People need to see that, really, there are the nicest people in the world here!" he declared. "I don't know if our album makes you realise that. But I hope it's from a more positive place."

Um, they're like two years too late. The American Idiot album came out on September 21, 2004. Why didn't they complain about Green Day's "anti-Americanism" then? Oh wait, they didn't have an album coming out at that time. They didn't have an album to promote. What a coincidence that they now have an album to promote so they attack another band. Do they honestly think that's going to get people to go out and buy their CD? I'm not!! In fact, I know that a family member bought me the Killers CD for Christmas this year. After reading about the laughable attack on Green Day, I told my family that they could take the CD back to the store and buy me something else because I don't want it. And they did!!

Brandon Flowers clearly shows that he knows absolutely nothing about music and symbolism. For a man who claims that Bruce Springsteen is a great influence on him, he knows absolutely nothing about what Springsteen is saying in his music. If Flowers thinks that "Born in the USA" was a patriotic song, he's clearly an idiot!! He also knows absolutely nothing about the symbolism behind "American Idiot" and any other song by Green Day.

The last time I looked, Billie Joe Armstrong was an American. Therefore, he has every right to say whatever he wants about America, American politics, and the American people. He doesn't have to shut up just because he's a musician. And why can't Green Day go to another country to film a DVD? Oh, God forbid some British or German kid says "I don't want to be an American idiot." It's a song dumbass!!

If you want to talk about delusional, let's look at Flowers. He thinks that the new Killers album is a better representation of America. He wants this album to show people that there are really nice people in America. What planet is he living on? Perhaps he should do himself a favor now and just shut the hell up. Stop attacking a band because you don't agree with what they have to say. Stop being a jealous prick because the Killers will never be as big as Green Day, no matter what kind of album you put out. And if you're so patriotic Brandon, perhaps you'll end your music career, enlist in the military, and show just how "patriotic" you profess to be. If not, shut up because you're a jackass who is only making yourself look bad.

And if you really want to know what I find more offensive than anything Green Day could do, it's the video for "Mr. Brightside." Talk about a disgusting display of exploiting women. In the video, women are standing in front of ogling men flashing their boobs and underwear at them for their entertainment. That's disgusting!! Now if you'll excuse me, I'm going to go listen to American Idiot!!

A Victory For Women's Rights!!

I would officially like to applaud the Supreme Court today for turning away a case to revisit the Doe v. Bolton decision from 1973. You can read the story below.

WASHINGTON - The Supreme Court on Tuesday turned aside the case of Sandra Cano, one of the women behind the legalization of abortion, who had sought to reverse the victory she won 33 years ago.

Cano says she never wanted an abortion and that her difficult early life resulted in her becoming the anonymous plaintiff in Doe v. Bolton, the lesser-known case which the justices ruled on the same day in 1973 as the landmark Roe v. Wade.

"We're very disappointed that the Supreme Court has not decided to protect women and children from the harm of abortion," said Allan Parker, one of Cano's attorneys. "The court has aborted the normal regulation of medicine in this area."

Cano says she was a 22-year-old victim of an abusive husband and that her children were in foster care when she sought legal assistance in getting a divorce and in getting her children back.

She said an aggressive attorney pushed her into the abortion case.

"What I received was something I never requested — the legal right to abort my child," Cano said in an affidavit six years ago.

Her current lawyers' legal brief says that despite advances in medicine, science and technology, the justices have "frozen abortion law based on obsolete 1973 assumptions and prevented the normal regulation of the practice of medicine."

The 11th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals ruled in January that neither it nor a U.S. District Court had the authority to reverse the Supreme Court's decisions in Doe v. Bolton or Roe v. Wade.

The thing I don't get is how this woman or any woman can sit there and claim that they were so naive that they could be pushed into doing anything. First of all, this woman was 22 years old at the time. It's not like she was a naive little child. Second of all, nobody can force you to do anything you don't want to do.

Let's take her argument that an attorney forced her to become involved in the case. Just because she won the right to obtain a legal abortion didn't mean that she had to go through with having one. I just love how 33 years later she claims to have been ignorant and naive. Um, your Honor, I was naive and ignorant 33 years ago. But I'm not now. Please reverse the decision that was made back then because I don't agree with it. GET REAL BITCH!!

I'm thrilled that this decision wasn't overturned. It's about time someone said no to the pro-lifers out there. I also especially love the statement made by one of her attornies who just happens to be a man. He said, "We're very disappointed that the Supreme Court has not decided to protect women and children from the harm of abortion." In my opinion, he has no ground to stand on when talking about abortion. He's a man, and therefore can't have a child himself. So what right does he have to demand that women not be allowed to make a medical decision for themselves such as having an abortion? None!!

If I or any other woman out there decides to have an abortion, it's our business. It's not the business of the pro-lifers out there. It's not the business of elected politicians. It's not the business of judges. It's our business and nobody else's. I suggest that people take their pro-life crap elsewhere because it's quickly falling on deaf ears!! The True Story: Florida Governor Jeb Bush Runs For His Life

And now, because FUX News can do it, I, too, can celebrate ten years of propaganda and made up stories by showing you exactly how I would have reported the Jeb In A Closet story.

To wit...

Florida Governor Jeb Bush Runs For His Life

Police Go Crazy To Protect Governor Not Even From Pennsylvania
By My Brother/B.S. News-Gazette

Florida Gov. Jeb Bush, in town for a fund-raiser for Sen. Rick Santorum, ran like a little girl from a large group of protesters as he was making his way to the Duquesne Club, Downtown.

It was about 4:15 yesterday when Mr. Bush saw the protesters and had to put his hand in his pants' pocket to control his bladder as the group gathered on the corner of Liberty and Sixth avenues. The protesters were marching to join other pickets already gathered in front of the exclusively White, Rich and Republican club, a little more than a block away at 325 Sixth Ave.

Protesters said Gov. Bush looked "as though he was going to either puke or piss his pants or both" as he scanned the crowd of about 900 chanting pickets that was made up of United Steelworkers and members of Uprise Counter Recruitment, a tour traveling through 22 cities to support anti-war efforts.

As the crowd came closer, they chanted slogans such as "Jeb, go home" and "Scaredy Cat, Scaredy Cat, Jeb Bush Is A Big Fat Rat".

Mr. Bush, accompanied by a horde of security guards and what appeared to be a couple of female hookers (though one did have a moustache and answered to the name of Fred), beat a hasty retreat toward the T-station at Wood Street.

"He was quickly getting out of the way and not wanting to engage us," said Jon Vandenburgh, one of the protesters, who also is a researcher for the United Steelworkers. "You could tell that he was really afraid of us. Not like he was just-concerned afraid but out-of-his-mind-with-fear afraid. You know?"

Once in the subway station, Mr. Bush scurried to the escalators and descended to the mezzanine level, Mr. Vandenburgh said.

"He was going so fast that you could really only see a blur," Mr. Vandenburgh said.

By now, Mr. Bush was cornered. He was surrounded by signs that said "Pittsburgh is a Santorum Free Zone," "Honk if you're sick of Rick," and a crowd growing increasingly louder, according to Mr. Vandenburgh.

"We don't want you here," protesters chanted.

Port Authority spokesman Bob Grove said six to seven hundred police officers had to be called in control the crowds.

He said Mr. Bush had been walking in the area near the T-station and the incident happened spontaneously when about 50 pickets "tailed him and stayed with him and went into the Wood Street station."

"It was really vicious," Mr. Grove said. "I mean, how dare anyone think that they can walk anywhere near a governor or a senator or a president or, for that matter, a Port Authority spokesman, such as myself?!? I mean, what do they think this is, a free country or something? These people are crazy! Crazy, I tell you!"

About 75 protesters remained on the street, said Mr. Grove.

He said the crowd was asked repeatedly to disperse.

"They wouldn't listen," Mr. Grove said. "Then it got really ugly. Someone said that they had a gun and a bomb and a dog that could kill you just by staring at you. We have to take threats like these seriously."

Mr. Grove said a Port Authority canine unit was called in to offset the dog that can kill just by staring but that, ultimately, the canine unit wasn't needed because "we realized it was just someone playing a prank. After 9/11, though, anything is possible so we had to take all precautions."

Two officers used their tasers to stun two protesters who "were asked to leave, but did not go, because they have some kind of notion that, in America, they're entitled to some kind of inalienable rights. Pssh, imagine!" Mr. Grove said.

The tasers he said were empty of the cartridges that supply a more powerful charge.

"We reserve the use of those more powerful charges for innocent black and Latino people," Mr. Grove explained.

As a precaution, the governor was ushered into a T-station supply closet and stayed there until the crowd left, ten hours later.

No arrests were made and no citations were issued, Mr. Grove said. Mr. Bush was not injured but, according to Mr. Grove, "The governor did have to go wee-wee in his pants and a new pair had to be snuck in, via a ventilation shaft."

The two men who were tasered were damn near electricuted to death, this after they were beaten down with clubs and bitten by the canine unit (both the dogs and their handlers), which finally saw some of the action after all, said David Meieran, with the Thomas Merton Center and one of the protesters with Uprise Counter Recruitment.

Mr. Meieran said that both the Port Authority officers and the police were "out of control".

Pittsburgh police said they never went anywhere near the T-Station but Mr. Meieran said that is clearly a lie as he held up a badge belonging to an officer with whom he had a scuffle.

"As he shoved me backwards, I reached out to catch my balance and ended up ripping off his badge," Mr. Meieran explained. "Realizing what I had in my hand, I bolted into the crowd and blended in."

The entire incident lasted about 50 minutes, resulting in hundreds of injuries to protesters and police alike. After calm was restored and the gunsmoke had cleared, ambulances were called in and the injured hauled away to area hospitals. Even with their ranks halved, protesters bravely made their way back to the Duquesne Club where they staked out the front of the building and an alley entrance.

Mr. Vandenburgh and Mr. Meieran said they later saw Mr. Bush land in a helicopter on the back lawn of the Duquesne Club, flanked by a SWAT team and putting on a bulletproof vest and helmet. The hookers were nowhere in sight, however.

Mr. Vandenburgh and Mr. Meieran said that he was then escorted into the backdoor of the building.

A spokeswoman for Mr. Bush said that "there will be serious reprecussions" for this incident, adding, "How dare anyone think they are free to do what they wish in this country?"

Jeb Bush gets rude welcome

Police disperse angry protesters in Downtown T-station

By Ervin Dyer / Pittsburgh Post-Gazette

Florida Gov. Jeb Bush, in town for a fund-raiser for Sen. Rick Santorum, had a close encounter with a large group of anti-Republican protesters as he was making his way to the Duquesne Club, Downtown.

It was about 4:15 yesterday when Mr. Bush met up with the protesters near the corner of Liberty and Sixth avenues. The protesters were marching to join other pickets already gathered in front of the exclusive club, a little more than a block away at 325 Sixth Ave.

Protesters said Gov. Bush blew them a kiss, acknowledging the crowd of about 30 chanting pickets that was made up of United Steelworkers and members of Uprise Counter Recruitment, a tour traveling through 22 cities to support anti-war efforts.

The protesters came closer.

"Jeb, go home," they shouted.

Mr. Bush, accompanied by a security guard and a female aide, made a slow retreat toward the T-station at Wood Street.

"He was quickly getting out of the way and not wanting to engage us," said Jon Vandenburgh, one of the protesters, who also is a researcher for the United Steelworkers.

Once in the subway station, Mr. Bush scurried to the escalators and descended to the mezzanine level, Mr. Vandenburgh said.

By now, Mr. Bush was cornered. He was surrounded by signs that said "Pittsburgh is a Santorum Free Zone," "Honk if you're sick of Rick," and a crowd growing increasingly louder, according to Mr. Vandenburgh.

"We don't want you here," protesters chanted.

Port Authority spokesman Bob Grove said six or seven officers responded to the scene to control the crowds.

He said Mr. Bush had been walking in the area near the T-station and the incident happened spontaneously when about 50 pickets "tailed him and stayed with him and went into the Wood Street station."

About 75 protesters remained on the street, said Mr. Grove.

He said the crowd was asked repeatedly to disperse.

Mr. Grove said a Port Authority canine unit was called in to help with crowd control. Two officers used their tasers to stun two protesters who "were asked to leave, but did not go," Mr. Grove said.

The tasers he said were empty of the cartridges that supply a more powerful charge.

"It was a very tense situation. They were very close to the governor and shouting on top of him."

As a precaution, the governor was ushered into a T-station supply closet and stayed there until the crowd left.

No arrests were made and no citations were issued, Mr. Grove said. Mr. Bush was not injured.

The two men who were tasered were shaken and left the protest, said David Meieran, with the Thomas Merton Center and one of the protesters with Uprise Counter Recruitment.

Mr. Meieran said the Port Authority officers were fairly aggressive and pushed them aside.

Pittsburgh police said they monitored the protest in front of the Duquesne Club, which they called peaceful, but did not respond to the incident in the T-station.

The entire incident lasted about 5 minutes. After calm was restored, the smaller group of protesters inside the T-station made their way back to the Duquesne Club where they staked out the front of the building and an alley entrance.

Mr. Vandenburgh and Mr. Meieran said they later saw Mr. Bush escorted to the Duquesne Club, which he entered through a back door at about 5 p.m.

A spokeswoman for Mr. Bush said she was unaware of the incident last night and had no immediate comment.

Is It Another Excuse? Foley Alleges Abuse!!

Foley is alleging now that he was abused by clergy when he was a teenager. This is yet another attempt to excuse his pedophilia.

First there was the complete denial that anything ever happened with the Congressional pages. Then, he abruptly quits his job in Congress. After that he mysteriously enters rehab for alcohol treatment. Now his lawyer comes out and says he was abused as a teenager. Which excuse are you going with Foley?

This sick asshole is seeking sympathy from the public. He's seeking attention for himself. He doesn't give a damn about the fact that he ruined the lives of others, especially of the pages. He's trying to paint the picture of insanity and addiction that caused him to do what he did. He's trying to paint this picture so that, oh I don't know, he can cop a plea when he's charged. This sick bastard deserves to rot in jail like all the other pedophiles out there. But given the fact of who he is, he'll skate. If he's charged, he'll probably get probation and mandatory treatment. He'll be put back out on the streets to do it again. And nobody will care.

Kudos To Ms. Magazine!!

Ms. Magazine is set to release the fall issue of their magazine next week. It's bound to ruffle the feathers of the pro-life whacks out there!! In the issue, there is a story titled "We Had Abortions," along with the names of thousands of women who acknowledged having one.

Judie Brown, president of the American Life League, wrote in a commentary that when she saw a Ms. announcement of the project, "the evil practically jumped right off the page."

Get real bitch!! The only evil I see are people who think women should be forced to have a child even in cases of rape and incest. Some even think they should be forced to have a child even if the life of the mother is in danger. That's what's evil. How dare anyone, and I mean anyone, think that a woman should be forced to bear the child of their rapist, simply because some bitches think that "life" begins at conception. These bitches probably haven't even been raped themselves. And you know damn well that if they were and became pregnant, they wouldn't carry that child to term either. They spout evil shit, but can't back it up when it comes to themselves. Rape victims didn't consent to conceiving anything. If you advocate forcing a woman to have the child of her rapist, you're no better than the rapist himself. You're just as sick as the rapist, if not more.

I applaud Ms. Magazine for having the balls to put out such an issue. To all the pro-lifers out there, shut the fuck up with your hypocritical bullshit. You're pathetic, and have nothing better to do than stick your nose into the business of others. You have no right to try and impose your beliefs on another person. I'll be buying that magazine, and displaying it proudly on my coffee table. I hope more people have the balls to do something like that as well. We have a RIGHT to control our own bodies, and if pro-lifers don't like it they can shove it!! We have a RIGHT to make reproductive choices for ourselves, and if pro-lifers don't like it they can shove it!! We have a RIGHT to have an abortion, and if pro-lifers don't like it they can shove it!!

It's about damn time someone stood up and told the pro-lifers to keep their ROSARIES OFF OUR OVARIES!! It's about damn time someone stood up and told the pro-lifers to FUCK OFF!!

Pro-Gun People Make Me Sick

Pro-gun people make me sick. Alan Gottlieb who is the chairman for Citizens Committee for the Right to Keep and Bear Arms took the opportunity to spout his bullshit about guns after the tragedy in Pennsylvania yesterday.

He said, "Welcome to the party, Gov. Rendell," said CCRKBA Chairman Alan M. Gottlieb. "While the Brady Campaign to Prevent Gun Violence has been wringing its hands and declaring that 'somebody has got to do something,' we have consistently maintained that such crimes are impossible to predict, and equally impossible to prevent with passage of yet another gun law. And finally, Gov. Rendell agrees with us."

He went on to say, "This shooting, and the ones last week in Colorado and Wisconsin, and every school shooting in the past 10 years all had one thing in common," he observed. "They all happened in so- called 'gun-free school zones,' where students and adult staff are essentially helpless."

"Gun control extremism has disarmed the wrong people and created risk-free environments for those who would commit murder and mayhem," Gottlieb said. "It is time to re-consider gun-free school zone laws and the zero-tolerance mentality such laws foster. We can no longer afford the empty-headed Utopian illusion that gun control and gun-free zones will keep children safe. Like all other gun control laws, this one has been a monumental failure, and it is literally killing our children."

"If it saves the life of just one child," Gottlieb concluded, "abolishing such laws will be worth the effort."

Fuck you Gottlieb!! I would call you a man, but you're no man. Anyone who would sit there and advocate gun rights after five little girls were murdered by a GUN and others were injured are nothing but inhuman pieces of shit. You make me sick!!

You're an absolute lunatic if you think that arming school officials and whoever else with guns is going to solve the problem of gun violence. Oh yeah, what do you suggest we have happen? Do you want to see a full-fledged gun battle in a school? Is that what you want to see you sick asshole? When will you and all the other lunatic whackjobs out there that advocate for gun rights learn that GUNS kill people. People with GUNS kill people. If that sick fuck in Pennsylvania yesterday didn't have a gun, five little girls wouldn't be dead and others wouldn't be fighting for their lives. If that sick fuck in Pennsylvania yesterday didn't have a gun, we wouldn't be having to talk about it today. If that sick fuck in Colorado didn't have a gun, a teenage girl wouldn't be dead.

We don't need to abolish gun laws. We need to abolish gun rights. We need to abolish guns. Then and only then will our children as well as everyone else be a bit safer. So Gottlieb, take your gun and shove it straight up your pathetic, lunatic ass. You're one sick piece of shit!!

Yet Another Case Of Excessive Use Of Force By Police

A man in Madison Township, Ohio was tasered by two police officers for over a minute and died on Friday. They were responding to a disturbance call, and said the man was probably on drugs.

A friend of the deceased man said that he was wrestled to the ground, and instead of handcuffing him or using pepper spray they continued to taser him for over a minute. As a result of the tasering, the man died.

This is yet another case of excessive use of force by police. I agree with the man's friend. There's absolutely no excuse for the reaction by police. The man didn't have a weapon. He was already on the ground. Yet, they chose to continue to taser him. Why? Because you can? Ooh, you're real big men to do that!! Way to go!! Of course nothing will be done. There will be no criminal action taken against them. They will sit on paid administrative leave, and then they'll be right back out there on the streets to do it again to someone else.

The assistant police chief said the department has suspended using them until they can be sure they are working properly.

Hello moron!! There was nothing wrong with the taser guns. They were working just fine, otherwise this man wouldn't have been tasered and he wouldn't be dead. Geez, people are so fucking stupid and will make any excuse in the book. Oh yeah, they weren't functioning properly!! My ass they weren't!!

What should have been done is this man should have been wrestled to the ground, handcuffed, taken to a local hospital for medical treatment especially if he was in fact on drugs, and then taken to jail. He should have never been killed because the police don't know how to exercise restraint or use their brains. Talk about wrongful death here!!

Police Brutality At Its Finest!!

People wonder why others claim police brutality. Gee, I can't guess. If this isn't one of the biggest cases of police brutality and excessive force, I don't know what the hell you'd call it.

Angilo Freeland shot and killed a sheriff's deputy, a police dog, and injured another deputy last week. He was on the run, and a day later he was shot by police. There's absolutely no excuse for Angilo Freeland being dead. They killed him because they claim that he showed them one hand, but didn't show them both. Again, there's no excuse for Angilo Freeland being dead. He didn't shoot at police even though he had ample opportunity to do so.

An autopsy report showed that he had been shot at 110 times, and hit by at least 68 bullets fired by the SWAT team. The jackass sheriff Grady Judd said he wasn't concerned by the number of shots fired at Angilo Freeland. He said, "You have to understand, he had already shot and killed a deputy, he had already shot and killed a K-9 and he shot and injured another deputy," Judd said by phone Saturday. "Quite frankly, we weren't taking any chances." He went on to say, "I suspect the only reason 110 rounds was all that was fired was that's all the ammunition they had," Judd said. "We were not going to take any chance of him shooting back."

Hey fucker, how would you like to be shot at 110 times and be hit by at least 68 bullets? Hmm, I don't think you'd like it very much asshole. But somehow you seem to think that this is funny. You seem to think that it's perfectly okay and justifiable to shoot at a man 110 times, and then say that the only reason he wasn't shot at any more than that was because they ran out of ammo. You've officially shown the world, or at least those with a brain, what a complete asshole you truly are. Does it make you feel good to know that you murdered a man for murdering a cop and a dog? Does it make you feel like good to know that the man you murdered never fired a shot? Does it make you feel like a man to shoot at a man 110 times? Apparently so because as the saying goes, "the bigger the gun, the smaller the penis." And apparently, you have no penis!!

This is exactly why I can't stand stories like this. They get away with shit like this, and get away with it because they're a cop. They think they have a right to use excessive force because it's "justified." I'd say that in about 99% of the cases it's not. They deserve to lose their jobs, and should face criminal charges. You don't shoot a suspect 110 times. It's not okay, and these assholes seem to think so. Hey I know, why not shoot the next suspect about 1,000 or more times. Then you'll be a REAL MAN!!
