Two "Teenage" Girls Rob Bank In Georgia

What, did Mommy and Daddy not give them enough of an allowance that they felt the need to rob a bank? Or perhaps Mommy and Daddy didn't spend enough time with them.

I hope they enjoy laughing right now because it's going to be no laughing matter when they get to spend a good majority of their ADULT lives in prison. No amount of Mommy and Daddy's money will get them off for robbing a bank. And trust me, they will be caught!! It's only a matter of time.

I'd really love to hear their excuse. Perhaps it would go a little something like this:

"We're sorry!! We really didn't mean to do it. But you see, our parents didn't give us enough allowance. We had to have the latest designer clothes, and our parents wouldn't give us access to our trust funds. So, how else were we going to get the money? We're really sorry, and it will never happen again. We've learned our lesson. Honest!! (Fingers crossed behind their backs)"

I wonder what the latest "fashion" trend is in prison!! Most likely something that these two spoiled rich brats aren't going to like. It's too bad, for them anyhow, that they aren't going to have a choice!! Now that's something worth laughing about!!

The Tomb Of Jesus Debate: The Real Deal, Or Just A "Money Making Scheme?"

Those wacky Christians amuse me!! There's a debate brewing about the discovery of what could very well be the tomb of Jesus.

Filmmakers and scholars on Monday unveiled two stone ossuaries they said could have contained the remains of Jesus and Mary Magdalene, but several other scholars derided claims in a new documentary as unfounded and contradictory to basic Christian beliefs.

Well of course "scholars" would get their panties in a wad over this. I mean, how dare anyone contradict "basic Christian beliefs." After all, everything that is written in the Bible and espoused in Christian churches all over the world is the gospel, right? If it were true, that would mean that money-hungry churches would be out of business. Why? They would be out of business because everything that they've ever taught people would be a lie. The very "book" that they preach from would be a lie. And we just can't have that, so of course these "scholars" would denounce anything that would compromise their cash flow.

One of the caskets bears the title, "Judah, son of Jesus," hinting that Jesus may have had a son, according to the film. The very fact that Jesus had an ossuary would contradict the Christian belief that he was resurrected and ascended to heaven.

Now we can't have that!! We have to let people actually believe that he was brought back to life, and rose up to those puffy little white clouds in the sky. We have to let them believe it's possible even though it's not. We have to let them believe in fairy tales because if we don't, they might revolt!! They might start to question everything that they've ever been told, and that would be bad because the sheep must remain ignorant to reality!!

Most Christians believe Jesus' body spent three days at the site of the Church of the Holy Sepulcher in Jerusalem's Old City. The burial site identified in Cameron's documentary is in a southern Jerusalem neighborhood nowhere near the church.

Yeah see, it has to be a hoax. You see, the body of Jesus was somewhere else. So, it can't be true.

"I don't think that Christians are going to buy into this," Pfann said. "But skeptics, in general, would like to see something that pokes holes into the story that so many people hold dear."

Why wouldn't people "buy" this story? Oh wait, that's because they've been brainwashed for years into believing the fairy tales contained in the Bible. The Bible's good!! It has many fairy tales in it. Let me just name a few. There's the one about a human being created from the rib of another human. There's the one about being able to part water. How about the one where someone wandered in the desert for 40 days, and emerged alive despite the fact that he would have surely died due to sun exposure or lack of food and water? I like the one where Moses talked to a burning bush. I think it was Moses. These days, he would have been thrown into a padded room and held in the psych ward. But my ultimate favorite fairy tale is the one about people living to be 900 plus years old. Yeah, that's really plausible!!

Remember, Christians won't buy this story. But they'll buy the fairy tales in the Bible that are drilled into their heads over and over again by their wonderful church leaders. Who's delusional here?

It's typical Christian behavior. I'm surprised that they're not crying "Anti-Christian" here with this one. God forbid that anyone touch their precious "cloud being." God forbid that anyone mess with their perfect little fairy tale. They have this image of who and what Jesus was brainwashed into their heads. If anyone dares to question that image, beware!! They just might go rabid dog on your ass!!

Teaching Hate: Anti-Muslim Hate Speech Allowed In North Carolina Classroom

A North Carolina teacher allowed anti-Muslim hate speech to be preached to a class full of students.

A representative from the Kamil International Ministries Organization, a Christian group based in Raleigh, was invited by a teacher to come and speak to the class. He handed out literature class that compared the teachings of Jesus with accusations against Islam's Prophet Muhammad; Muslims Jesus as a prophet of God equal to the prophet Muhammad.

If a representative from a mosque was invited to speak in front of a classroom full of students, you can damn sure believe that there would be a huge uproar by the Christian parents. They would be bitching for eternity, and demanding that the teacher be fired, the principal of the school be fired, and the school board be fired.

Among the materials handed out was a pamphlet called "Jesus not Muhammad," as well as one entitled, "Do Not Marry a Muslim Man." The latter pamphlet compares parts of the Koran with those of the Bible, such as:

—Husband, beat your wives and deny them sex." (The book of Islam, Koran 4:34)

—"Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the Church and gave Himself for her." (The Holy Bible, Ephesians 5:25)

It warns women to not be lured into marrying a Muslim man, even for his "dark good looks, education, financial means, and the interest he shows in you."

"You may be excited that you found the 'tall, dark, and handsome man' you have been looking for. His sweet words and attention may blind you regarding the power, importance, and influence of his culture and Islamic faith," the pamphlet says. "Because in the United States, we have freedom of religion, he may agree that you can remain a Christian and you may think there will be no problem with such a marriage. But do not be fooled and become a victim of his religion, Islam, which has very oppressive rules regarding women's status and rights. Such marriages will never be out of trouble."

This group just proves how idiotic, ignorant, and asinine they truly are!! In case they haven't noticed, Muslims exist inside the United States. But I wouldn't expect these jackasses to know that!!

The school's principal, Beth Cochran, basically said 'we encourage the exchange of ideas and although what …[was] passed out was inappropriate, we welcome anyone from the Muslim community to come and talk to the students," Butte said.

I call bullshit on that comment!! Here's what I suspect would happen if someone from the "Muslim community" were to be invited to speak to students at this school. First off, a letter would be sent home to every parent informing them of the impending visit. Parents would bitch. The comments would range from how dare they invite Muslims to speak to our children, all the way up to the typical death/bomb threats. Permission slips would be sent home with students for their parents to sign, giving the student permission to listen to the speaker or denying permission. Parents would demand to be allowed to sit in on any speech. There would be a police presence at the school to calm any "tensions" that might arise. Instead of educating the students, it would turn into a totally one-sided hate session directed at the speaker.

I guarantee you that the teacher in question would be fired if it was a Muslim speaker, and the speaker would probably be thrown in jail. But since it's a Christian group, the teacher won't even get spoken to about it and absolutely nothing will happen to the speaker representing this group. Where's the outrage? Oh wait, why would there be any when it was Muslims who were trashed?

Stupid Me, I Thought A Funeral Was Supposed To Be About The Dead Person!!

Apparently I was wrong, at least according to the Catholic Church. In Australia, the Catholic Church has set eulogy guidelines.

The Sydney archdiocese has issued a set of guidelines for eulogies; the speeches that people give at funerals in memory of the person being mourned.

There are tight constraints on duration and subject on the grounds that the subject of the funeral service is God, not man.

Really? The funeral service is about God and not man? Is "God" in the casket or urn? No!! Is "God's" family paying for the funeral service? No!! But apparently the Catholic Church thinks that they have the right to tell people what can and can't be said, done, or heard at a funeral. May I suggest this then? The Catholic Church should pay for every funeral, burial, etc. if they think that they have a right to tell families what to do.

Nowadays many families opt for pop over traditional music at the funeral service.

Warwick Hansen from the Australian Funeral Directors Association says those choices can be misplaced.

Oh heaven forbid that "I Will Remember You" or some other "pop" song is playing instead of some old bitty playing the organ with some god-forsaking garbage hymn blasting out of the pipes. One can only listen to Amazing Grace so much before they're ready to crawl inside the casket with the deceased.

We've had funerals of young people that may be playing heavy metal music, which I personally don't believe is appropriate in a church environment.

There's been even very poor language used by some of those speakers in a church environment and I don't believe that is an appropriate place for that.

Ooh, heavy metal music!! Scary!! Seriously though, please show me the funerals that have had heavy metal music playing. Not appropriate for a church environment? What exactly is appropriate? Phony "christianly" hymns? Yeah, that's really appropriate!!

God forbid that someone chooses to exercise his or her right to freedom of speech. If they decide to curse the "Lord", that's their right. If they want to say fuck all of this bullshit, it's their right.

The Sydney archdiocese guidelines suggest: that only one person speaks at the funeral mass; that they concentrate on the human qualities of the deceased; avoid stories of drinking prowess or romantic conquests; and limit their speech to no more than five minutes.

Do the people attending the funeral get to draw straws to see which person gets to speak? Seriously, only one person should speak at the funeral? Why, so the people have to be bored listening to the priest go on and on for hours instead of listening to stories about the life of the deceased? Wow, and they should only limit their speech to five minutes or less? Maybe they should just get the "Micro-Machine" man to give the eulogy. He could probably get the eulogy speech down to 30 seconds to a minute. Yeah, I vote for "Micro-Machine" man!!

My point is, the Catholic Church is so idiotic that now they're issuing guidelines on funerals. Funerals aren't about GOD. Funerals are intended to honor the life of the deceased. What the Catholic Church fails to understand is that funerals aren't about them. It's about the dead person. Perhaps they should take the cash that they're given for the use of the church/priestly services, and shut the hell up!! If people wanted their advice, they would ask for it. Since they're not, there is no need to hear it!!

The Condom Debate: Fortunately The Catholic Church Will Lose This One!!

Oh, the Catholic Church is hilarious with their ridiculous "morality" garbage.

They're handing out free condoms in New York City. This "immoral" act has gotten the Catholic Church's panties in a huge wad!!

The plan, the Catholic leaders said, "is tragic and misguided," adding that the only way to protect against sexually transmitted diseases is through abstinence before marriage and fidelity among married couples.

Tragic and misguided? I'd say that the plan is no more tragic or misguided than the same old line about abstinence or fidelity in marriage that the Catholic Church is constantly preaching about. We all know that many people have sex before they're married. We also know that not everyone is faithful in a marriage. But hey, let's preach about it anyways because that's the answer!!

"Our political leaders fail to protect the moral tone of our community when they encourage inappropriate sexual activity by blanketing our neighborhoods with condoms," said Cardinal Edward Egan, head of the Archdiocese of New York, and Bishop Nicholas DiMarzio of Brooklyn in a joint statement.

Moral tone of the community? Since when has American society ever been moral? Better yet, since when has the Catholic Church ever been moral? With all of the pedophile priests and nuns from past to present running around, the Catholic Church has a lot of balls to be spouting off about morality.

Egan and DiMarzio said the $720,000 cost of the program "would be far better spent in fostering what is true and what is decent."

What's that? What's true and decent? I guess knowingly letting people contract diseases including HIV is decent. I guess knowingly handing them a sentence of life with this disease, or even a death sentence with this disease is decent. Yet, handing out condoms to prevent diseases including HIV is immoral, tragic, misguided, a horrible thing for society, promoting promiscuity, even "criminal" in the Catholic Church's mind.

What's more immoral, letting people die from a disease that can be prevented by using a condom while preaching about morality and decency or handing out condoms so that people DON'T DIE? Gee, I don't know!! That's a hard choice!! Quite frankly, I don't understand why the Catholic Church gives a damn about the sex lives of people. They're not having sex because they took vows of celibacy. So, why are they so interested in the sex lives of others? I guess it's because they're not getting any!!

The Perp Is The Victim Now?

Thanks to C for sending me this story!!

Restaurant Hosts Benefit for Astronaut
AP

COCOA BEACH, Fla. (Feb. .12) - About 70 diners attended a fundraiser at an Italian restaurant Sunday night for a NASA astronaut charged with attempted murder.

Silvestro's restaurant, which was bombarded with criticism after word spread that they were holding the fundraiser, plans to donate the dinner proceeds to Lisa Nowak's family.

Restaurant co-owner Tony Bless told Melbourne's Florida Today newspaper that he thought it was the right thing to do for Nowak, who made a positive impression on his staff when she dined there last summer.

"We stand by our friends in time of need, and it's a time of need," he said. Bless said he's also gotten supportive calls and e-mails from as far away as Italy.

Nowak was arrested Feb. 5 on charges of attempted murder, attempted kidnapping and three other crimes stemming from what police described as a love triangle involving fellow astronaut William Oefelein.

Let me get this straight!! She's accused of attempted murder, attempted kidnapping, and three other crimes, and people feel sorry for her? Oh that's right!! She made a "positive impression" on the staff at the restaurant. Wow!! What about the VICTIM? Apparently nobody gives a shit about her. How about a little sympathy for her? After all, she's the one who was allegedly stalked for two months. She's the one who was followed in an airport parking lot. She's the one who was pepper sprayed. But hey, she's not the victim!! The accused is, right?

Nice attitude in this country. We treat the perp like the victim, and the victim like the perp. Nowak brought this upon herself, and she only has herself to blame for her problems now. She doesn't need sympathy from people. She needs to be locked up in a nice padded jail cell!!

Who Was Holding The Plastic Turkey George?

Courtesy of a friend, the following is a quote from the King!!

George W. Bush, answering a question from ABC's Martha Raddatz about whether there's a civil war in Iraq said, "It's hard for me living in this beautiful White House, to give you a firsthand assessment. I haven't been there. You have. I haven't."

The president has visited Iraq at least twice since the war began, most recently in June 2006.

Who was holding the plastic turkey George? You know, the turkey that you were photographed holding while visiting the troops in Iraq? You know, that image that was plastered on every news channel a billion times a day for weeks? Are we to believe that it really wasn't George? Perhaps it was a real-life G.I. "George" rather than the plastic thing. Perhaps it was a body double. Stuntman? Or maybe, just maybe it was the King himself!!

Hell, who are we to question the King? I mean, if he says he hasn't been to Iraq then he hasn't been there. Right? Right!! Why would he lie? The King would never lie. The White House would never lie. Yeah right!! Just like he never said this:

In today’s press briefing, White House Press Secretary Tony Snow tried to distance President Bush from his infamous “Mission Accomplished” speech, claiming that Bush said “just the opposite” of “Mission Accomplished”:

I think the public ought to just listen to what the president has to say. You know that the mission accomplished banner was put up by members of the USS Abraham Lincoln, and the president, on that very speech, said just the opposite, didn’t he?

For that May 1, 2003, Bush stood in front of a large banner that read, “Mission Accomplished.” In the opening of his speech, he declared, “Major combat operations in Iraq have ended. In the battle of Iraq, the United States and our allies have prevailed.” He called the “battle of Iraq” a “victory.” In his radio address shortly after the speech, he boasted, “I delivered good news to the men and women who fought in the cause of freedom: their mission is complete and major combat operations in Iraq have ended.”

I think apparently everyone who has ever heard this speech must be completely deaf, or like, against George. Never said "Mission Accomplished?" Not only are we all deaf, but we're all apparently dumb too!!

So let's see if I have this right. George has never been to Iraq. George never said "Mission Accomplished." George has never had a "stay the course" mentality. What else hasn't George said or done that he's really said or done?

Just remember people, if you see George holding a plastic turkey in Iraq, it isn't him!! He's never been to Iraq!! NEVER!! If anyone asks, he was in the "beautiful White House" the entire time.

The New Homeland Security: Dolphins & Seals

We can all sleep well at night, knowing that the great defenders of our country may soon be dolphins and seals. Yes, that's right!! Dolphins and seals!!

In a notice published in this week's Federal Register, the Navy said it needs to bolster security at Naval Base Kitsap-Bangor, located on the Puget Sound close to Seattle. The base is home to submarines, ships and laboratories and is potentially vulnerable to attack by terrorist swimmers and scuba divers, the notice states.

Ooh, I'm scared of those evil terrorist swimmers and scuba divers. Give us a break already!! Let's take the Navy seriously for a moment. Let's take them at their word that we must protect ourselves against attack by terrorist swimmers and scuba divers. What the hell is a dolphin or a seal going to do? Bite the terrorist? Arrest the terrorist? Kill the terrorist? Oh wait, I called it!! Read the following excerpt:

Lapuzza said because of their astonishing sonar abilities, dolphins are excellent at patrolling for swimmers and divers. When it detects a person in the water, a Navy dolphin drops a beacon.

This tells a human interception team where to find the suspicious swimmer.

Sea lions can carry in their mouths special cuffs attached to long ropes. If the animal finds a rogue swimmer, it can clamp the cuff around the person's leg. The individual can then be reeled in for questioning.

Hell, why not give them a badge and a gun? After all, the Navy's going to equip the seals with the ability to essentially arrest a "rogue" swimmer.

How exactly are these dolphins and seals going to determine who is a terrorist swimmer or scuba diver, and who isn't? I'm sure the Navy will tell us, or perhaps that can't be disclosed due to National Security reasons. Maybe terrorists swimmers and scuba divers have a distinct smell. Maybe they'll wear particular swim gear. Maybe they'll wear a sign on their swim gear that says "Yes, I'm a terrorist swimmer or scuba diver. What of it?" Maybe they'll just look like a terrorist. Jesus Christ, you can't make this shit up!!

Don't worry America!! Dolphins and seals will protect you, and keep this country safe from the evil-doers of the world!! Let us salute the brave dolphins and seals who serve this country. It is because of them that we are able to swim and scuba dive in terrorist-free waters.

The Dixie Chicks "Controversy"

While watching the Grammy Awards last night, I knew people would be bitching today. After all, those "unpatriotic, terrorist-loving, treasonous, anti-American, Bush-hating bitches" won all five awards that they were nominated for. Oh, the horror!!

People never really cease to amaze me with their utter contempt for three women who simply exercised their free speech rights. They said that they were ashamed to be from the same state as George Bush. Big deal!! Get over it already!! But these morons and lunatics refuse to. As everyone knows, at least one person went so far as to threaten to kill these women. And for what? Because they dared to speak? We've made a major deal out of what they said. But I have yet to hear anything even remotely close being said about the threat upon their lives. Apparently that doesn't matter in this country. You can't speak because your life will be threatened. Yeah, America's great!!

As I sat and watched the Grammy Awards last night, I really wanted the Dixie Chicks to win. I found myself rooting for them as each category they were nominated in was being announced. I was ecstatic that they won all five awards for which they were nominated. Today, I'm even more ecstatic that they won all five awards because it seems to have gotten the panties of some people in a major bunch.

Erica Hill, who works on CNN's Headline News certainly seemed like something of hers was a little twisted. She started off the story with the comment about the Dixie Chicks being country music rejects. Then she asked something to the effect of "Were their wins legitimate, or were the Bush haters sending a message?". Seriously honey, "Bush haters"? Do I detect a conspiracy theory being thrown about? Yep, the "Bush haters" were out in full force. They wanted to send all the Bush lovers a message by awarding the Dixie Chicks with five awards last night. After all, everything that anyone says or does in this world has to revolve around George Bush. Earth to Ms. Hill, earth to Ms. Hill!! Not everything is about George Bush!! Get a grip!!

People are completely asinine and insane today. Over on one blog, someone actually demanded an investigation into the legitimacy of the wins last night. An investigation? Are you insane? Seriously, we have better things to do in this country than to be concerned about whether or not the awards were legitimately awarded to the Dixie Chicks last night. Here's some advice to all the whining, crying bitches out there, get a fucking life!!

They deserved to win last night. I really do hope that their wins sent a message to people out there. For the last three years, people have made their lives a living hell. Yeah, I'm sure some moron out there will argue that "they made their own hell when they opened their mouths." Don't bother because that's not what I'm talking about. Their lives were threatened. That's not okay. It can't be justified by saying that they opened their mouths therefore they're fair game. They're lives aren't fair game. You don't have a right to threaten to kill someone simply because you don't agree with what they have to say. If their wins sent a big F U to country music fans, Nashville, or the rest of the world who had a hand in making their lives a living hell for over three years, good!!

That F U has been long overdue!!

Women Are Liars, According To State Senator

Courtesy of the Denver Post, the following excerpt speaks volumes.

In the category of "What was he thinking," state Sen. David Schultheis takes the prize. The lawmaker from Colorado Springs stunned a roomful of people in a Senate Health and Human Services Committee hearing recently when he asked the sponsor of a bill requiring hospitals to give information on emergency contraception to rape victims how doctors "determine that a person actually did incur that sexual assault. Are they going to take the word of that individual?" asked Schultheis. "You could see individuals coming in that just wanted to make sure that last night's stand didn't result in a pregnancy and basically say that they had been a sexual assault" to get the contraceptive.

The sponsor, Sen. Betty Boyd, told Schultheis to "have more confidence in the integrity of a woman that she's going to be truthful." A shocked Sen. Brandon Shaffer, D- Longmont, scolded Schultheis, saying, "I think the suggestion that a person is going to feign being raped in order to get emergency contraception is mildly insulting ... more than mildly."

The head of the Colorado Coalition against Sexual Assault told Schultheis that "less than 2 percent of reported rapes are false." Tamika Payne described in graphic terms the invasive examination that rape victims must undergo, involving high-resolution cameras. Asked later what he was thinking, Schultheis said he couldn't remember the context. "I'm in a hurry. I have another meeting," he said, racing off.

What Sen. David Schultheis is essentially saying is, women are liars. Women will lie about being raped in order to get emergency contraception. Women will lie about the most horrific violent crime that can ever be perpetrated against someone, just to get emergency contraception. Women will lie, just so that they can "abort" THEIR fetus.

Sen. Brandon Shaffer finds the comment "mildly insulting"? Mildly insulting? Calling someone ugly is mildly insulting. Declaring women to be liars about being raped in order to get contraception (emergency at that) isn't mildly insulting. It's so downright disgusting!! It's so typical of pro-life, Christian, conservative, right-wing, Bible-thumping scumbags.

As someone pointed out on another site that was discussing this, if a man is raped would David Schultheis allow him to undergo HIV testing and drug cocktails? Or is it just women that David Schultheis has a problem with? After all, women will say or do anything to get an abortion or contraception right? Wrong!!

This is yet another example of the pro-life, Christian, conservative, right-wing, Bible-thumping scumbags attempts to control women. This is yet another attempt to treat women like second-class citizens. This is yet another attempt for men to make reproductive decisions for women. And all of this is being done in the name of saving the FETUSES OF THE WORLD!!

Ignorance At Its Finest!!

John Amaechi, an NBA basketball player, acknowledged that he is gay. Why should this matter? To be honest, it doesn't. John Amaechi made a choice to come forward. John Amaechi made a choice to say that he's gay. While he freed himself of whatever "burdens" he was carrying, others were letting loose with the ignorance!! What a big SHOCKER!!

LeBron James, however, said he didn’t think an openly gay person could survive in the league and worried about any players who have not revealed they are gay.

“With teammates you have to be trustworthy, and if you’re gay and you’re not admitting that you are, then you are not trustworthy,” James said. “So that’s like the No. 1 thing as teammates — we all trust each other. You’ve heard of the in-room, locker room code. What happens in the locker room stays in there. It’s a trust factor, honestly. A big trust factor.”

Really Mr. James? An openly gay man can't survive in the league? And why is that? Perhaps because of ignorant punks such as yourself? Perhaps because punks such as yourself are going to make his life a living hell? Why exactly is it that an openly gay person can't survive in a sport? Does the fact that he or she is gay make them any less of a person? Any less of an athlete? Any less of a role model? Any less of a hero?

John Amaechi isn't trustworthy? Why, because he didn't come to you first to tell you that he was gay? Why, because he chose to keep his private life to himself? Why, because you simply can't stand the fact that he's gay? John Amaechi is worth a billion times more than you are Mr. James. Do yourself a favor. Go back to school to get an education before you spout your mouth off about shit you have no clue about.

Injured Philadelphia Sixers forward Shavlik Randolph acknowledged it’s a new situation.

“As long as you don’t bring your gayness on me I’m fine,” Randolph said. “As far as business-wise, I’m sure I could play with him. But I think it would create a little awkwardness in the locker room.”

Yeah that's right Mr. Randolph!! All gay people try to force their "gayness" upon others. All gay people try to convert the straights!! Didn't you know that Mr. Randolph? All gay people think about is having sex. They can't walk past someone of the same sex without wanting to get it on!!

A little awkward in the locker room? Why? Are you afraid that John Amaechi is going to want to take a look at your "package"? Give me a break!!

“For real? He’s gay for real?” said Philadelphia center Steven Hunter, who added he would be fine with an openly gay teammate.

“As long as he don’t make any advances toward me I’m fine with it,” he said. “As long as he came to play basketball like a man and conducted himself like a good person, I’d be fine with it.”

Yeah, he wants you!! See, all gay people just can't help themselves!! He's not there to play basketball. He's there to get a date. He's not a good person. Didn't you know that all gay people are bad, bad, evil people? Didn't you know that?

God, I can't stand people like James, Hunter, and Randolph. They think that the only thing gay people do is hit on other people. They think that gay people "want" them. They think that gay people are evil. They disgust me!! And Pat Garrity doesn't make it any better when he says, "That’s just how the world is right now." It doesn't help to excuse ignorant behavior with some weak comment like that's how the world is. As a human being which I would think he is, he has an obligation to combat ignorance. He has an obligation to do more than excuse this shit with a bullshit response.

I applaud John Amaechi for coming "out". There's no reason that he or anyone else should hide who they are. If you're hiding out of fear, don't!! If you're hiding out of shame, don't!! If you're hiding out of denial, don't!! Be yourself!! Who cares what others think!! You're a better person than those people will ever be, or hope to be!!

Seven More "Investments" In Iraq Today

Seven more "investments" were made in Iraq today. Had enough yet?

Oh, Those Poor, Poor Catholics!!

This is why I hate religion, period.

If John Edwards wants to kiss the asses of Catholics, go right ahead. But he sure as hell will not be getting my vote if he fires these two bloggers. I do love how the Catholic bloggers out there have their panties in a twist over this. Like these "morally" superior bitches would ever consider voting for John Edwards, let alone actually vote for him. You may be stupid, but we're not.

Bill Donohue, president of the Catholic League for Religious and Civil Rights, demanded that Edwards fire Amanda Marcotte and Melissa McEwan.

"John Edwards is a decent man who has had his campaign tarnished by two anti-Catholic, vulgar, trash-talking bigots," Donohue wrote in a statement. "He has no choice but to fire them immediately."

Oh those poor, poor Catholics. Why is everyone always picking on them? Maybe because they deserve to be called out for their anti-woman, anti-gay, anti-anything stances. So let's see if I have this right. Bill Donohue is calling these two bloggers anti-Catholic, vulgar, trash-talking bigots. Who's the bigger bigot Bill? The Pope, or these two bloggers? The answer: the Pope!! Your religious leader is by far one of the biggest bigots I've ever seen. If you don't like what I just said, too bad!! Apparently Bill Donohue has his panties in a bunch too because the truth hurts!!

To John Edwards:

If you fire these two women, you can kiss any hope of being the Presidential nominee goodbye!! Nobody will vote for you after going along with the attempted silencing of the truth!! But I guess you learn from the best, Kerry!! He gets swiftboated, and says nothing. You get told what to do by some Catholic assholes, and you're probably going to fire two women who spoke their minds. Nice example you're setting!!

Britain Sent Children To Fight In Iraq

Britain sent children to fight in Iraq.

Isn't it wonderful? Perhaps they learned some lessons by going to Iraq at such a young age. What would those lessons be? Oh yeah, this war was ILLEGAL!! It's illegal for me to be here!! We're killing people for no reason!! Wait, that would be the truth. These soldiers can't be told the truth!!

Fifteen British troops under the age of 18 have been ''inadvertently'' sent to fight in Iraq, violating a U.N. protocol on children's rights, the government said Sunday.

Jesus Christ, they sent children to go fight their dirty war. They violated UN rules when it comes to children's rights. And they act like it's no big deal.

Defense Minister Adam Ingram, who gave the figure in a written statement to lawmakers, said the ''vast majority'' of the young troops had been within a week of turning 18 when they were deployed, or had been removed from the war zone less than a week after arriving.

They're still children you moron. It doesn't matter if they were within a day of turning 18. The point is, they weren't 18. They were 17. They were children, period!!

''Unfortunately, these processes are not infallible and the pressures on units prior to deployment have meant that there have been a small number of instances where soldiers have been inadvertently deployed to Iraq before their 18(th) birthday.''

Unfortunately? Tell that to the parents of these children. "Well, unfortunately we accidently sent your child to Iraq. Unfortunately we didn't realize that he or she was underage, and we sent him or her to fight illegally. But hey, things like this can and do happen. However, we will not apologize for it. Your son or daughter was taught a very important lesson in patriotism."

The minister said no one under 18 had been sent to Iraq since July 2005, and new measures were in place to ensure it did not happen again.

Well, that makes it okay then!! Perhaps the people of Britain should just shut up because nobody under 18 has been sent to Iraq since July 2005. The UN should just forget about the "minor" goof. The UN shouldn't hold Britain accountable. The rest of the world shouldn't be outraged that such a thing happened. It'll never happen again!! Yeah right!!

Opposition lawmaker Sarah Teather, who had requested the figure, said Prime Minister Tony Blair should apologize to the 15 teenagers.

No Ms. Teather!! Tony Blair shouldn't apologize. Tony Blair should be held accountable for his crimes, and add this one to the long and ever-growing list. What value would an apology from Tony Blair have when it's as worthless as the shit on a piece of toilet paper? I mean really, his apology is going to mean absolutely nothing because it's:

1) A day late and a dollar short
2) Insincere
3) Completely and utterly worthless

If you want an apology from Tony Blair, ask for it. Just don't hold your breath too long while waiting for one because you'll die before you ever hear "I'm sorry!!"
