No Sympathy For Miley Cyrus

I have absolutely no sympathy for Miley Cyrus when it comes to this supposed scandal.

Miley Spokeswoman: Parents Not Present for Bedsheet Shot

LOS ANGELES — Billy Ray Cyrus says the seminude photos of his superstar daughter, "Hannah Montana" star Miley Cyrus, were taken after he left the Vanity Fair shoot.

"Miley's parents did leave the shoot and were not present for the final shot, nor did they see any digital images of the shot in question," a Miley spokeswoman told the New York Post on Monday, referring to the photo showing the 15-year-old partially naked and covered by a sheet.

Her grandmother and her teacher were left to supervise as famous photographer Annie Leibovitz snapped away, according to People magazine.

Click here to see the Vanity Fair photos.

"Annie convinced them it was going to be artistic," a source told People. "Her parents are mortified."

The Disney Channel, whose "Hannah Montana" empire is worth nearly $1 billion, has ordered Miley to lie low, according to the New York Post's Page Six gossip column.

"You won't be seeing her for a while," a high-ranking Disney employee was overheard saying this weekend at a luncheon in L.A., according to Page Six. "The company is keeping her away from events and wants her to keep a very low profile for the next four to six months. They're trying to keep her contained."

Vanity Fair, on its Web site, called the shoot, "a relaxed family event."

Miley's idol, actress-singer Hilary Duff, told ABC News radio she wouldn't have posed for similar pictures.

"It's not something that I would choose to do, but if she did them, that's fine," Duff said. "I don't know how her fans would feel about it, but maybe they won't mind."

Fans and parents seemed mixed on the issue.

"I think it's disgusting Miley was photographed in this way," one person wrote on Vanity Fair's Web site.

But at teen site allykatzz.com, one fan wrote: “I think it isnt as much as people are making it it wasnt made to be racy !! it was just a photo shoot i still love miley!”

Michele Combs, a spokeswoman for Christian Coalition of America, told Usmagazine.com that "Disney should reprimand" Miley.

Combs is calling for a televised press conference, where "Miley should say it was a mistake and that kids have to be very careful at such a young age."

Miley herself has had misgivings about the shoot.

"I took part in a photo shoot that was supposed to be 'artistic' and now, seeing the photographs and reading the story, I feel so embarrassed," Cyrus said Sunday in a statement through her publicist. "I never intended for any of this to happen and I apologize to my fans who I care so deeply about."

The photos, appearing in the upcoming issue of Vanity Fair, were taken by Leibovitz, a renowned celebrity photographer whose edgy, silver-toned portraits have included subjects such as Angelina Jolie, Scarlett Johansson and a naked, pregnant Demi Moore.

"I'm sorry that my portrait of Miley has been misinterpreted," Leibovitz said in a statement released by Vanity Fair. "Miley and I looked at fashion photographs together and we discussed the picture in that context before we shot it. The photograph is a simple, classic portrait, shot with very little makeup, and I think it is very beautiful."

The Cyrus pictures accompany an interview with the pop star and her father.

The Disney Channel, which airs Cyrus' TV show "Hannah Montana," was also critical of Vanity Fair.

"Unfortunately, as the article suggests, a situation was created to deliberately manipulate a 15-year-old in order to sell magazines," a network statement said.

Vanity Fair defended the story and photo shoot in a statement of its own.

"Miley's parents and/or minders were on the set all day," the magazine said. "Since the photo was taken digitally, they saw it on the shoot and everyone thought it was a beautiful and natural portrait of Miley."

In a caption released by Vanity Fair with the photo, Cyrus expressed her comfort with how the apparently topless picture turned out.

"I think it's really artsy," she told the magazine at the time. "It wasn't in a skanky way. Annie took, like, a beautiful shot, and I thought that was really cool. That's what she wanted me to do, and you can't say no to Annie."

A handful of borderline racy snapshots of a girl who appeared to be Cyrus have appeared on the Internet in recent months, including images of a girl posing in her underwear and bikini last week. In one shot, she's draped over a young man.

Cyrus is one of the biggest — and most G-rated — acts in the country and is often considered a role model for young girls. Her "Best of Both Worlds" tour sold out arenas, and her successful 3-D concert film collected $31.3 million in its opening weekend in February.

Let's put this into context. I was watching the story and saw the photos on tv yesterday. First of all, she doesn't look like she's topless. Hell, she doesn't even look like she's wearing a sheet. In fact, this "sheet" looks more like a dress style that is popular these days. But that's not the point.

The point is, her parents agreed to this shoot. You can't honestly tell me that they never saw the photos before commenting for the article. You can't honestly tell me that they never saw the photos until after they were published in Vanity Fair and this uproar started. You can't honestly tell me that they didn't get a chance to voice an opinion on what photo or photos would appear in Vanity Fair. Now that there is this uproar, they're crying foul!!

If people think this photo is bad, perhaps they should go check out her photos on MySpace. I haven't seen them, nor do I care to. However, from what has been reported, they are far worse than this Vanity Fair photo.

She chose to do this shoot. She chose to go along with it. Her parents allowed her to do this shoot. I will never believe that they had no clue what was going on every second. I will never believe that you can't say no to this photographer. You can say no to anyone. It's simple!! The word is NO!! If they don't like it, they can find someone else. She didn't say no. Her parents didn't say no. They didn't say that she's only 15 and she's not doing this. They let this happen, and they really have nobody to blame but themselves.

As for Disney, the bottom line is MONEY!! They're pissed because people are in an uproar. They're afraid that people are going to boycott the Hannah Montana franchise. Thus, they lose MONEY!! They claim that she was manipulated in order to sell magazines. Yes, magazines are in the business of selling magazines. But, Vanity Fair and the photographer manipulated nobody!!

If Disney was so concerned about her being manipulated, why didn't they send a rep from Disney with her to the shoot? They didn't because they saw this as an opportunity to draw in the consumer. They saw this as an opportunity to make more money for Disney by appealing to another demographic group. If they really want to talk about manipulation, Disney did the manipulating. They used her to attempt to make more money for the company. Now that it has backfired, they too are crying foul!!

The bottom line is, I don't feel sorry for Miley Cyrus. She knows exactly what she's doing. If anyone disagrees, they clearly haven't been paying any attention for years. This is how it works, and has worked for years. You do or say something that you probably shouldn't. You face a backlash. You "disappear" for a little while. Then you plot your comeback, and hope that the "scandal" blows up your career (in a good way). Miley Cyrus is no different!! Those who come after Miley Cyrus will be no different!!

People Have Lost Their Goddamned Minds! Part 3

Today, we go all the way to Italy for this edition of People Have Lost Their Goddamned Minds.

Cries of 'Duce! Duce!' salute Rome's new mayor

"Italy's new parliament met for the first time yesterday with applause for Rome's mayor-elect, Gianni Alemanno, a day after followers celebrated his triumph with straight-arm salutes and fascist-era chants."

Excuse me?

These assholes were really doing this shit?

The chants should have been "Douche! Douche!" as in douchebag, as in scumbag, as in Don't Ever Let Me Move To Italy Or You'll Be Reading About Cracked Skulls.

These people have lost their fucking minds!

"Alemanno, a former neo-fascist youth leader, took 54% of the vote in a run-off on Sunday and Monday, crushing his rival, Francesco Rutelli, a deputy prime minister in the last, centre-left government.

"Silvio Berlusconi, who won a general election earlier this month, welcomed the latest evidence of Italy's leap to the right by declaring: 'We are the new Falange.' Although he took care to wrap his remark in a classical context, his choice of words appeared to be a nod and a wink to his most extreme supporters."

Santayana is spinning in his grave so fast that, if you hooked wires to the body, you could power the city of Rome for years.

Those who do not learn from history are condemned to repeat it indeed.

Good luck, Italy, or at least those of you who are still sane.

Update: Girl Dies From Diabetes Complications While Parents Pray

I blogged about this story a little while back. Today, there is an update.

D.A.: Parents pray as girl, 11, dies of diabetes

WESTON, Wisconsin (AP) -- A couple who prayed as their 11-year-old daughter died of untreated diabetes will be charged with second-degree reckless homicide, a prosecutor said Monday.

"It is very surprising, shocking that she wasn't allowed medical intervention," Marathon County District Attorney Jill Falstad said.

Madeline Neumann, daughter of Dale and Leilani Neumann, died March 23 at the family's rural Weston home. An autopsy determined she died from undiagnosed diabetic ketoacidosis, an ailment that left her with too little insulin in her body.

The Neumanns each face up to 25 years in prison if convicted. Charges were being filed later Monday, Falstad said.

Falstad said the Neumanns have cooperated with investigators and are not under arrest. They have agreed to make an initial court appearance Wednesday, she said.

The couple and their lawyer did not immediately return messages.

Leilani Neumann, 40, previously said she never expected her daughter to die. The family believes in the Bible, which says healing comes from God, but they have nothing against doctors, she said.

Dale Neumann, a former police officer, has said he has friends who are doctors and started CPR "as soon as the breath of life left" his daughter's body.

Madeline, who was being home-schooled, was in good health until she started getting tired about two weeks before she died, her mother has said. When the situation got worse over Easter weekend, "we stayed fast in prayer then," Leilani Neumann said. "We believed that she would recover."

According to a search warrant request, the girl's grandmother told investigators she had been ill for several days, was "very tired," and wanted to be held by her mother. By March 22, Madeline couldn't walk or talk, her grandmother said.

The grandmother said she told Leilani Neumann to take the girl to the doctor but the mother said her daughter "would be fine and God would heal her," the court record said.

The grandmother eventually contacted a daughter-in-law in California, who called police on a non-emergency line to report the girl was in a coma and needed medical help. An ambulance was dispatched to the home shortly before some friends in the home called 911 to report the girl had stopped breathing, authorities said.

The Neumanns said they moved to Weston, a suburb of Wausau in central Wisconsin, from California about two years ago to open a coffee shop and be closer to other relatives. The couple has three other children, ages 13 to 16.

The family does not belong to an organized religion or faith, Leilani Neumann has said.

In March, an Oregon couple who belong to a church that preaches against medical care and believes in treating illness with prayer were charged with manslaughter and criminal mistreatment in the death of their 15-month-old daughter.

The toddler died March 2 of bronchial pneumonia and a blood infection that could have been treated with antibiotics, the state medical examiner's office said.

You're damn right these people should be charged, and I couldn't be happier!! They knowingly and willingly allowed their daughter to die from a treatable disease because they thought "GOD" would heal her. I can see it now!! INSANITY DEFENSE!!

Other than the fact that I think the charges aren't harsh enough, I do have a few problems with the situation. They have been or will be charged with a crime. Therefore, they should be under arrest instead of roaming free. And where in the hell does this "they agreed to make an initial court appearance" shit come from? I don't know how the LAW works in Weston, Wisconsin. But where I come from, if you're charged with a crime you're placed under arrest and you have a court appearance. You don't get to decide if and when you're going to make an appearance in court.

If they are convicted, I hope they get the maximum penalty. They can rot for the next 25 years in a prison cell, and think about what they did to their daughter.

How Do You Curb Crime? Pray And Wear Burlap Sacks And Ashes

Okay, you know this country has gone completely insane when a mayor decides that the best way to curb crime is to pray and wear burlap sacks and ashes. What fucking planet is he living on?

Birmingham Mayor Suggests Prayer, Wearing Sacks to Curb Spate of Homicides

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. — Struggling to confront a worsening homicide rate, the mayor of Birmingham asked pastors and citizens Friday to don burlap sacks and ashes Friday in an Old Testament-style sign of biblical repentance.

Mayor Larry Langford said his "sackcloth and ashes" rally at Boutwell Auditorium was inspired by the Book of Jonah, where residents of the ancient city of Ninevah wore rough fabric and ashes as a sign of turning away from sin.

A pastor who helped organize the rally said Langford purchased 2,000 burlap bags that will be handed out at the event.

"We believe things begin to dramatically change when the mayor, or leader, calls for prayer. I don't think there's ever been a city called to sackcloth and ashes," Green said.

Since he took office last year, Langford has held three prayer rallies as a way of addressing crime and violence. Bibles were handed out at one of the events.

"This city needs to humble itself," said Langford, a professing Christian.

So far this year 27 people have been killed in Birmingham, compared to 19 at the same time last year.

The mayor's prayer rallies may run the potential of creating a dispute over church-state separation. Olivia Turner, director of the American Civil Liberties Union in Alabama, said the group has had complaints and is discussing the events.

"The worry I have is that there's a government endorsement of religion," said lawyer Bill Messer, a state ACLU board member. "Certainly, the mayor has a right like anyone else to express his personal religious beliefs. As mayor, acting on behalf of the city, religion should not become part of the government itself. If it's an official government event, that's troubling."

The Rev. Vernon Huguley, pastor of Our Lady Queen of the Universe Catholic Church, doesn't see a problem with a mayor calling for prayer.

"I believe they need to bring their faith into their profession," he said. "We've got to do something. What's been done in the past has not worked. This is something new."

Birmingham city officials have turned to prayer in the past to cope with the city's crime problems.

The former chief, Annetta Nunn, promoted the idea of turning people toward God to quell the violence in the city's neighborhoods, and she instituted a Bible-based plan of civic responsibility for cleaning up rundown neighborhoods.

The current police chief, Langford appointee A.C. Roper, has a lengthy resume that includes being an ordained minister. He was in the military and worked with the Hoover Police Department for nearly two decades.

Roper supports the repentance rally, but he said law enforcement cannot stop there.

Fuck the church/state issue!! This guy has lost his damn mind. Well, that is if he had a brain to begin with!! His idea of addressing the issue of crime is to hold prayer rallies? How exactly does that address the problems at hand? How exactly does that do anything to stop or prevent crime? Oh I get it now. If a criminal turns to JEEEESSSSSSUUUUUUUUUUSSSSSSS, he or she won't commit a crime. Yeah right!!

Remember people, if you're being robbed, raped, or about to be murdered, just hand a Bible to the person and JESUS will change their mind!!

It should come as no surprise to anyone in this country that three cops got away with MURDER today.

After watching the police news conference, I was completely sick. I really can't decide what made me sick more. Two MURDERERS stood there praising JESUS for being found not guilty. One of these MURDERERS had the audacity to "apologize" to the family of his victim. He murders a man and has the audacity to apologize after getting away with that murder? He puts new meaning to the word PIG!!

Michael Palladino, president of the Detectives Endowment Association, a police union is the biggest PIG of all though. He had the fucking cajones to sit there and offer his "sympathy" to the Bell family, and then turn around and say "How do I spell relief? N-O-T G-U-I-L-T-Y!!" FUCK YOU Palladino!! How dare you throw shit in the faces of Sean Bell's children, Nicole Bell, Bell's friends and family, and all the other victims and families in this case!! You're scum!!

People wonder why others don't trust cops. THIS IS WHY!! They shoot innocent, unarmed people who are doing nothing to provoke or warrant being shot. They MURDER a man in cold blood, all in the name of "self-defense". And, they get away with MURDER because some judge decides that he doesn't like the demeanor of the witnesses so he's going to acquit the bastards. These bastards were on trial here, not the witnesses or their backgrounds. Often in criminal trials, the prior criminal history of a defendant isn't allowed to be brought up at trial because it is irrelevant. Now all of a sudden a judge is allowed to take into account the criminal history or demeanor of witnesses when deciding the guilt or innocence of the defendants? BULLSHIT!!

Allow me to spell it out for the morons out there that don't get it, and refuse to get it.

I'm sick and tired of hearing the sympathy for them today. I will not shed one tear for them. They can go home to their families. They can walk free on the streets. They are alive. Sean Bell is not!! Sean Bell is dead. He was murdered!!

Justice was served?

BULLSHIT!! This is thuggery at its finest!!

People Have Lost Their Goddamn Minds! Part 2

This week's culprits are those that either believe the US should boycott the opening ceremonies or the Olympics altogether and those that are protesting human rights abuses by the country of China.

Why have they lost their goddamn minds? Why do I even need to explain this one?

When was the last time you saw this level of protest against the human rights abuses by the US?

Where are the protestors scaling the Golden Gate Bridge in response to the atrocities committed in Iraq, Afghanistan and at Guantanamo Bay, Abu Ghraib and any of the various "black sites" around the world that we know nothing about?

A few weeks back, I wrote a bit about how I couldn't wait until Barack Obama or Hillary Clinton took office in the White House so that I could watch as those who would otherwise call themselves "anti-war" protestors would figure out a way not to come into conflict with their man or woman in D.C.

I see now that I don't have to wait for those days; they're already (and have, for quite a while, been) here.

This ties in with the comments made yesterday morning on C-SPAN as senators and congresspeople such as Russ Feingold, who would otherwise get a thumbs-up from yours truly, didn't even bother mentioning the deaths of the Iraqi people in the equation as to why the US needs to get the fuck out of Iraq.

Those deaths are not even a blip on the radar screen of these jack-offs.

No, instead, it's about the security of the US, the prevention of Iran from "taking over the region" (nice wet dream and wasn't that the reason given as to why the US fixed the Saddam Hussein regime in Iraq in the first place?) and...and...and...

Feingold even went so far as to declare that where the US really should be is in Afghanistan and Pakistan so as to destroy the boogeyman, Al Qaeda. This despite the fact that he read a speech by Bin Laden (or one of his many dopplegangers) that said our reasonless "wars" (read: massacres) would end up bankrupting this country, a sentiment that Feingold agreed with and has, whether you like it or not, proven true.

People have lost their goddamn minds and these two examples prove it yet again.

The Pope Is An Ass!!

The Pope says that divorce and abortion offends God.

Divorce, abortion an offence to God, pope says

VATICAN CITY (AFP) - Divorce and abortion are offences in the sight of God, Pope Benedict XVI charged Saturday, while calling on the Catholic Church to be merciful to those who had experienced such events.

"The ethical judgement of the Church on divorce and abortion is clear and well-known," he told participants in a Catholic congress on marriage and the family.

"They are serious offences... which violate human dignity, inflict deep injustice on human and social relations and offend God himself, guarantor of conjugal peace and origin of life," he said.

However he added that there were people who had committed such "errors" but "suffered from wounds to the soul" and "sought peace."

"The Church has the duty to be close to these people with love and delicacy," the pope added.

"Divorce and abortion are choices... which sometimes develop in difficult and dramatic circumstances... and are a source of profound suffering for those who take such decisions.

"They also affect innocent victims, the barely-conceived and unborn infant, the children caught up in divorces."

Let me ask a few questions. If a woman or a man is being beaten by his or her spouse, does the Pope believe that the victim should stay in that relationship? Why? So they don't risk offending some magical cloud being?

If a woman is beaten to within an inch of her life, should she return to her abuser? If her children are also being beaten by their father or her husband, should she stay and allow those children to be beaten? Why? So she doesn't risk offending some magical cloud being?

If a spouse is being cheated on, should the other spouse stay in that relationship? Why? So they don't risk offending some magical cloud being?

If a person is in a loveless marriage, should they stay in that relationship? Why? So they don't risk offending some magical cloud being?

If a man or woman is raped by his or her spouse, should they stay in that relationship? Why? So they don't risk offending some magical cloud being?

If a man or woman has a spouse who commits crimes, should they stay in that relationship? Why? So they don't risk offending some magical cloud being?

If a man or woman has a spouse that is abusive but not physically, should they stay in that relationship? Why? So they don't risk offending some magical cloud being?

If a man or woman has a spouse that abuses drugs and alcohol, should they stay in that relationship? Why? So they don't risk offending some magical cloud being?

If a man or woman has a spouse that gives them a disease, should they stay in that relationship? Why? So they don't risk offending some magical cloud being?

If a man or woman has a spouse that is threatening him or her with death, should they stay in that relationship? Why? So they don't risk offending some magical cloud being?

Whether or not someone gets a divorce isn't the Pope's business. Nor is it "GOD'S" business. Divorce is there for a reason. It can be and often is necessary!!

I've stated my opinion many times about the Pope, the Catholic Church, Christianity, and abortion. But it needs repeating.

People Have Lost Their Goddamn Minds!

This might be a continuing series, given the climate of today's political world.

Today's target: Randi Rhodes.

Nice way to toss a career, hell, a fucking life out the window, Randi.

For those that haven't heard, Randi Rhodes decided about two weeks ago to call Hillary Clinton and Geraldine Ferraro "fucking whores" and said that she "had all of the dirt" on the Clintons.

(The only reason I've linked to FOX is because they actually didn't obscure the words like the L.A. Times did.)

Today was the first I heard about it. I'm under the impression that it was the first that anyone had heard about it, unless they heard it live as it happened or got the story shortly thereafter.

What's funny about the whole situation is, one, it didn't have to happen and, two, it just confirms my previous comments that Obama's followers are beyond the pale and completely unhinged. In other words, uber-cultists.

Look, Randi, your new bed-buddy is supposedly the next Puppet of the United States, so why bother with all of the invective?

Maybe if she had a vocabulary...nah!

I've never been a big fan of Randi Rhodes to begin with. I used to listen to her when she was "small-time" in Florida and would get a headache from the ceaseless drums and guitars as she'd go to break. Needless to say, I listened to her very sparingly.

Then she went to Air America and I listened to the first show but after that, listened, again, very infrequently.

After September 11, 2001, I listened to her even less, as she was one of those (and I believe she still is) that actually believed 19 guys with glorified knives could take over four planes without anyone fighting back. Despite the evidence to the contrary, she could never be persuaded to see things with an open mind.

And now, this.

I remember a woman that once talked about how she loved Bill Clinton, how he was a great guy and her favorite president and couldn't stop defending him against his critics.

When you change bed partners, I guess the whole scene changes.

Hey, Randi, if you had any "dirt" on the Clintons, so much so that you could "ruin" their lives, why resort to tossing out 3 penny words like "whore" and "fucking"? Why not just go for the uppercut and start rattling off pebbles of this "dirt"? It wouldn't be because you have no such "dirt", would it?

I have always said, "Never get 'married' to a politician because, ultimately, he will disappoint."

It's only a matter of time before Randi Rhodes is calling Barack Obama a son of a bitch.

That is, if anyone ever wants to put her on the air again.

Nancy Pelosi Is Completely Worthless And Delusional

Nancy Pelosi is completely worthless and delusional. Big shocker there!!

Pelosi calls on Bush to boycott Olympic opening ceremonies

(CNN) -- U.S. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi says President Bush should consider boycotting the opening ceremony of the Olympics Games in Beijing this summer to protest China's human rights record.

"I think boycotting the opening ceremony, which really gives respect to the Chinese government, is something that should be kept on the table," Pelosi told "Good Morning America" co-anchor Robin Roberts in an interview to air Tuesday morning, according to the ABC News Web site. "I think the president might want to rethink this later, depending on what other heads of state do."

Pelosi said she does not think U.S. athletes should boycott the games themselves.

"I believe a boycott of the Beijing Olympics would unfairly harm our athletes who have worked so hard to prepare for the competition," she said in a statement last week.

President Bush has said he intends to meet with China's president during a trip to see the Olympic Games in Beijing, which start on August 8. Bush didn't elaborate on what issues he might bring up, but his administration has accused China, a major U.S. trade partner, of human rights abuses.

Other world leaders have wrestled with whether to attend the Olympics.

French President Nicolas Sarkozy has said he may skip the opening ceremonies. German Chancellor Angela Merkel said she will skip the Olympics. Britain's Prince Charles said in January he has "no plans to attend the ceremony."

Pelosi has been a vocal critic of China's crackdown on anti-government protesters in Tibet.

"If freedom-loving people throughout the world do not speak out against China's oppression in China and Tibet, we have lost all moral authority to speak on behalf of human rights anywhere in the world," Pelosi told reporters during a visit to the Tibetan spiritual leader, the Dalai Lama, in Dharamsala, India, on February 21.

Dharamsala is the center of the Tibetan community in India, where many Tibetans fled after a failed uprising against Chinese rule in 1959.

"The situation in Tibet is a challenge to the conscience of the world," Pelosi added.

In a statement from her office on Friday, the California Democrat encouraged people to express their views in San Francisco next month when the Olympic torch passes through on its worldwide trek.

"I support the rights of individuals and groups to make their views known about the actions of the Chinese government."

China launched its torch relay Monday in a controlled ceremony in front of invited guests at Tiananmen Square. The torch will be taken on a 130-day journey around the world in what is said to be the longest torch relay in Olympic history.

Students for a Free Tibet, a Tibetan exile group, said its protesters will challenge police as the flame moves through 23 cities on five continents before returning to China, where it will be taken throughout the nation on the way to opening ceremonies.

Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Qin Gang has said that the games should not be politicized.

"We hope to enhance mutual understanding, friendship and cooperation with other peoples through the Games," Qin said in a statement on the ministry's Web site. "We must follow the purpose of the Olympics and not politicize the games."

Allow me to explain something. The United States has NEVER had the "moral authority to speak on behalf of human rights anywhere in the world". The United States has never and will never have a leg to stand on when it comes to the issue of human rights. Nancy Pelosi and anyone else who thinks otherwise is delusional.

So in other words, let's be disrespectful and start more shit around the world. Right Nancy? Is that what you're suggesting?

The Olympics have nothing to do with politics, and politics should be kept out of this. The point of the Olympics is to bring people together from all over the world to compete against each other in sports. It is also about bringing people together in peace for two weeks, and putting aside our differences with the hope that maybe we can learn a thing or two from each other. It is not about China and Tibet, or China and Darfur, or anything else!! Clearly Nancy Pelosi and others don't get it!!

Pelosi said she does not think U.S. athletes should boycott the games themselves.

"I believe a boycott of the Beijing Olympics would unfairly harm our athletes who have worked so hard to prepare for the competition," she said in a statement last week.

Really Nancy? How exactly would a boycott on our part "unfairly harm" the athletes? If they decide to boycott the Olympics, it's their own damn fault. It's not unfairly harming them. If they're not willing to speak out against a potential boycott, they have nobody to blame but themselves for not going to the Olympics.

Pelosi has been a vocal critic of China's crackdown on anti-government protesters in Tibet.

In a statement from her office on Friday, the California Democrat encouraged people to express their views in San Francisco next month when the Olympic torch passes through on its worldwide trek.

"I support the rights of individuals and groups to make their views known about the actions of the Chinese government."

Are you encouraging violence Nancy? There's bound to be some violence!! There always is!! Again, she doesn't get it. But, I'm not surprised.

This is coming from a woman (and I use that term loosely) who encourages people to express their views about China. Yet, she doesn't encourage the people in this country to express their views of this government. She doesn't encourage people to speak out against the human rights abuses perpetrated by this country all over the world, and in this country. When people pleaded with her to start impeachment proceedings against the thugs in the White House, she basically told us to FUCK OFF. When people pleaded with her to help get our troops out of Iraq, she basically told us to FUCK OFF.

This bitch doesn't give a fuck about anyone but herself, and what she can get out of something. She sits on her throne like she's the fucking queen, and everyone else can go to hell. She deserves to be dethroned because she's completely worthless and delusional.

If I had the money, I would buy tickets for myself and my family to go to the Olympics in China. I would spend every penny I had in CHINA.

If the United States wants to start shit by boycotting the Olympics, they can go right ahead. It will just be yet another reason why this country is disliked by the rest of the world. We're the biggest hypocrites on the planet. We don't know the meaning of the word PEACE. We're so full of shit that there will never be enough toilets on Earth to contain it!!
