Of Death Threats

Apparently, people can't keep their idiocy to themselves.

Don't you just love it when they decide to be "Anonymous", too?

I do not care for Barack Obama, I think I've made that perfectly clear to everyone that reads this blog.

That, however, does not give license to some asshole to shoot, literally, his or her mouth off and talk about how Obama should wind up just like either Kennedy, Martin Luther King, Malcolm X, or any other public figure or figurehead that has been gunned down.

Nor does it make me responsible for such mental cases, just because I don't like Obama.

The same would apply to McCain, if anyone decided to come here and make threats on his life.

Every moron (and you know who you are) reading this should read the next sentences carefully.

If you decide to act like a jackass, you will be fucking punked. If you toss death threats around, your comments will make their way to the proper authorities and you will be dealt with.

An Open Letter To Anonymous

I would like to thank you for sending me your comment jackass!! It will be forwarded to the proper authorities. I hope that you're found, and I hope that you're dealt with to the fullest extent that the law will allow.

I don't post death threats, or death wishes on my blog which is exactly what your comment was.

Following On The Heels Of The Last Posting

Again, what more do you need to see that previous administrations work hand-in-hand with incoming administrations?

Try this one.

Bush Said To Give Orders Allowing Raids In Pakistan

"President Bush secretly approved orders in July that for the first time allow American Special Operations forces to carry out ground assaults inside Pakistan without the prior approval of the Pakistani government, according to senior American officials."

Okay, I'm just kinda wondering here, but isn't there someone that has said that he would invade the Pakistani tribal region in the northwest of that country, with or without permission from the Pakistani government?

I just can't think of what his name is. If you can help me out, I think he thinks that Afghanistan was the "right war" and all that. Damn, I wish I could remember what his name was!

Foregone conclusion. Wants "change". Not like the rest of Washington. An outsider. A "breath of fresh air".

Someone help me?

Oh, by the way...

"Pakistan's top army officer said Wednesday that his forces would not tolerate American incursions like the one that took place last week and that the army would defend the country's sovereignty 'at all costs'."

This is what happens when you have insanity running wild in both the administration and behind-the-scenes, with the Powers That Be.

So the US is going to get into a war with a nuclear power.

Smart, smart, smart.

And for that guy, whose name I can't recall for some reason, that says that he would invade Pakistan with or without their permission, I wonder if this is his definition of a "smart war".

If the people of the US ever used their brains and actually read between the lines, this would be one dangerous motherfucking population.

Okay. What More Do You Need...

...to understand a number of things?

One, the establishment chose Barack Obama a long day ago to be the new puppetdent.

Two, every administration, on their way out, helps the next administration by either being antagonistic or supportive.

Three, Democrats and Republicans think war is just fine. Killing others, great! Using propaganda to dupe the people? Beautiful! Democrats and Republicans are not anti-war; they are pro-"progress" (read: power, land and money grab).

Here you go, if you don't believe me:

Bush Keeping Iraq Troop Levels Mostly Steady

That's the headline. Read below and between the lines and it's a completely different story.

First, Barack Obama's connection and just one of the reasons why he was chosen a long time ago.

"Democratic presidential nominee Barack Obama has advocated pulling all U.S. combat forces out of Iraq within 16 months of taking office...

"Both candidates have said more troops are needed in Afghanistan..."

Read between the lines, please, before you go insane and wonder if I'm inventing what I'm seeing and saying.

What's Barack Obama, who believes that the "war" in Afghanistan is the "right war", going to do with "all" those combat forces that he's "taking out" of Iraq anyway?

Read the line below it to figure it out for yourself.

Afghanistan, that's what he's going to do with them.

And he can do it with a prettier smile so you feel like it's the "right" thing.

Next, the help from, in this case, the Bush administration.

Bush is, imagine, being antagonistic to the Democrats' wishes for further massacre in Afghanistan and more of a "drawdown" in Iraq.

But, at the same time, "He announced that a Marine battalion that had been scheduled to go to Iraq in November would go to Afghanistan instead, and that that would be followed by one Army combat brigade".

Sure, it's not even close to what the Democrats are crying about but it's more meat for the grinder known as Afghanistan, isn't it? And that's what the Democrats and Barack Obama want, don't they? How are they different than Bush again?

Finally, the Democrats love war and death and misery just as much as the Republicans do.

And if you don't believe me, just have a look at the big two advisers to Obama: Zbigniew Brzezinski and Madeleine Albright.

Brzezinski doesn't give a shit that we destroyed Afghanistan by luring the Soviet Union into that country and having them go up against our one-time client, Osama bin Laden.

Albright thought that it was wonderful and "necessary" to slaughter and maim 500,000 children in Iraq during the Clinton years.

Good stuff, ain't it?

But look no further, if you wish, than the comments of Harry Reid and Ike Skelton.

Reid:

"I am stunned that President Bush has decided to bring so few troops home from Iraq and send so few resources to Afghanistan."

Skelton:

"The President's plan to reduce force levels in Iraq may seem to signal movement in the right direction, but it really defers troop reductions until the next administration...More significant troop reductions in Iraq are needed so that we can start to rebuild U.S. military readiness and provide the additional forces needed to finish the fight in Afghanistan."

The "fight" in Afghanistan will never be "finished" because it's not in the interests of the Powers That Be.

And what is so damned important about "U.S. military readiness" anyway? Forgive me if I'm just looking for a little peace here but give me a fucking break. Who is the US supposed to be "militarily ready" for now?

Oh, yeah, I keep forgetting. Russia, China and, of course, the shadows known as Al Qaeda, who, by the way, could strike at any time so don't let your kids go out for Halloween or celebrate Kwanzaa or even draw breath, okay?

If the PTB wanted to say that the sky was yellow and water was black, that would be the line mouthed by John McCain and by Barack Obama and there would be plenty of idiots out there saying, "Yup, yup, Johnny Mac says it's so" or "Uh-huh, Barack told me so."

Afghanistan, Iraq, who the fuck knows where else, those massacres will never end because they're money makers, they're powerful tools to keep the sheep at home in line.

I just don't get it why something so elementary as the power plays in the realm of deep politics are so hard for people to understand.

Open your minds, read between the lines, pay attention.

You'll get it, you'll understand and you'll thank yourself for it.

All I Ask For Is A Little Common Sense

This is in response to the comments made by, imagine this, Anonymous concerning Sarah Palin threatening to fire Mary Ellen Emmons twelve years ago in the town of Wasilla.

I should also be asking for people to challenge me with the facts, too, but that might be too much to ask of some people.

Our good friend Anonymous can't even get the woman's name straight, calling her "Kilkennedy".

First, I think what you meant to say, Anonymous, was Kilkenny, that being Anne Kilkenny, a resident of Wasilla that has talked about this story extensively.

Second, and this goes directly to the common sense part of the story, don't you think that, if this was indeed a made-up story, Sarah Palin would have sued for libel and/or slander by now? It seems to me that this would be grounds for denigration of character if it were false and a very easy case to win.

But, then again, I don't know Palin's stance on tort reform or "frivolous" lawsuits. Maybe she thinks character doesn't matter.

At the very least, she should have come before a microphone already and denied that any of this ever took place. Not only has she not done so, no one from her campaign has issued a statement denying it.

Not only that, Palin herself told the Anchorage Daily News that these letters were a test of loyalty.

Loyalty oaths. Where have I heard this kind of shit before?

Besides which, what the fuck does a mayor need a librarian to be loyal for?

People, if you're going to respond to something that I write, all I'm asking of you is, one, do your homework and, two, use a little bit of the brain in your skulls. Just a little bit. Too much might cause overload and destroy the parts that you use for Survivor and CSI.

Update To Previous Post

I guess I didn't know how right I was, did I?

Palin Church Promotes Converting Gays

The fun response here is, are we sure that god's not gay?

It's fun because it makes so-called Christians (really, shouldn't they be named Godians? I mean, they love to smite all that they don't agree with, which pretty much includes everything, just like their idol) go completely fucking nuts.

And it's always fun to make one of these bastards go blooey.

What about Jesus? Was he gay? Spent an awful lot of time walking around with a bunch of other guys. Lot of time on his hands wandering. He couldn't have wandered all day and night, though. He was either gay or the leader of some gang. Then again, I guess he could have been a cultist, too. That would explain these Christians and their zeal, wouldn't it?

For those that actually believe that you can convert gay people into being heterosexual, I would offer these words:

GET A FUCKING LIFE!

You are not Marshall Brodine nor are you Mr. Wizard.

(And, for the record, neither of these men ever tried to convert gay people into "straight" people, nor would they, as far as I know, have tried.)

And you are most certainly not the Christ that you proclaim to follow the teachings of.

If you don't like the fact that there are gay, lesbian, bisexual or transgendered people in this world, find another fucking planet.

Better still, convert yourself into a corpse and let someone else get some of that oxygen that's going to waste on you.

Are We Supposed To Be Shocked Or Something?

I was talking with my friend Joe on Thursday and he mentioned something about Sarah Palin that I hadn't heard yet, at the time.

The subject being her attempt to get the librarian of her town, when she was mayor, to ban any book that she deemed unfit for consumption. When the librarian refused, Palin threatened to fire her. After an overwhelming show of support for the librarian, Palin backed down and chickened out.

But, as Joe and I were saying, are we really supposed to be surprised by this? After all is said and done, isn't this kind of thing endemic to the Republican Party? It's rare that you get a Democrat running around asking for books to be banned or holding book burning rallies.

So, really, this was just Sarah Palin being Sarah Palin, right?

Think about it a little further and you have to ask yourself, what kinds of books would she have objected to?

Anything that might teach a kid that there's absolutely nothing wrong with sex as long as you're protecting yourself and your partner, your partner is consenting and everyone is mature enough to understand the consequences?

Whoops, sorry, a little too close to home.

How about something that might teach people what community leadership is? Or what the Vice Puppetdent of the US does (or is told to do)?

I know, a book that tells about how the corporations of this country (especially the gas and oil industry and the military-industrial complex) have a stranglehold on everyone's life.

A book that exposes politicians' connections to these above-mentioned corporations.

A book about evolution.

A book that pokes holes in the fantastical story known as The Bible. This one would be real easy. Just ask the question that Harlan Ellison says that he asked the first time he was in Sunday school: "If Adam and Eve were the first people on the planet and they had two kids named Cain and Abel and Cain killed Abel and then was cast out of Eden, where did all the other people come from when he came to the Land Of Nod?" Ellison says that he was then banned from ever participating in Sunday school again. I say when egos such as those connected to religion explode, they sure go up nicely, don't they?

A book that exposes that abstinence doesn't work.

A book that shows that there's absolutely nothing wrong with people who are gay or lesbian or bisexual or transgendered and that they can raise children just as well, if not better, than so-called straight people.

Sarah Palin would probably object to ANY book that she didn't agree with. But since she's a Republican, she'd probably object most to fictional texts. Republicans have a problem with distinguishing between fiction and reality. Witness a few years ago when a town in South Carolina went crazy and thought that Harry Potter might actually teach your children witchcraft so they burned piles of one of the novels and accused J.K. Rowling of trying to corrupt your kids.

This is just how they do. They're insane like that.

You Know Sarah Palin's Screwed When.....

You know Sarah Palin is screwed when her own mother-in-law:

1) Likes Barack Obama.

2) Doesn't know who she's going to vote for, and hasn't said that she'll vote for Palin.

3) Doesn't know what Sarah Palin brings to the ticket other than being a woman and a conservative.

I guess we all know what her mother-in-law will be doing. She'll be forced to undergo a serious brainwashing between now and Election Day!! That or she'll be sent on "vacation".

Just So We're All On The Same Page Here

John McCain wants "change".

Barack Obama wants "change".

Barack Obama is keeping "all options on the table".

John McCain is keeping "all options on the table".

John McCain "respects" Barack Obama.

Barack Obama "respects" John McCain.

Anyone else want to stick their finger down their own throat?

These two (and their respective running mates) ought to hold hands and skip off into the sunset already and leave the country to us, you know, the people they pretend to represent and emulate. I'm tempted to say they should bring some condoms along but Sarah Palin might object to that.

See, Michelle Obama is just like you. And so is Sarah Palin. And so is Cindy McCain and so on and so on. They're all just like you.

Because every woman knows Oprah. And because every woman has a $300,000 outfit that looks like it could be some sort of Halloween costume. And because every woman has a daughter that's been pregnant at least once, even though her mother supposedly taught her abstinence. Guess it didn't take, eh, Grandma?

But they're just like you, ladies.

And guys, John McCain's just like you, too.

I mean, what 70 plus old man hasn't wanted to pretend like he's a hero, despite the fact that he bombed innocent men, women and children in a country that had nothing to do with anything, except that they were on this planet?

Barack Obama's just like you.

What 40 plus old man hasn't wanted to pretend like he's an agent of change, despite the fact that he does things the exact same way that the establishment has always done them, taking money under the table from people that he claims he opposes?

They're just like you, gentlemen.

Just so we're all on the same page here, I'm sick and tired of being sick and tired and of looking into a mirror and seeing bullshit instead of someone that reflects me.

Anybody else feel the same?

Alaska Is Number One

That's right!! Alaska is NUMBER ONE!! Alaska is the rape capital of the nation. Alaska has more than double the amount of rapes than the national average.

What does Sarah Palin think about that? After all, she is the Governor of Alaska. What is she going to do about it? Well, absolutely nothing unless you're the rape victim. If you become pregnant, she believes that you should be forced to have that child.

On a side note, she just loves children!! Yet, Alaska is the sixth worst state when it comes to child abuse and neglect.

She's great, isn't she?

Just To Show Ya I'm An Equal Opportunity Offender

I was going to wait until after McCain made his warmongering speech tonight to just rip holy hell out of both him and Obama but I can't hold back.

I've gotta talk about Sarah Palin.

Originally, when it was announced that she had been "chosen" by John McCain (don't let anyone kid you, McCain did NOT choose Palin; the oil and gas industry did), I was going to congratulate her.

Not on being the first Republi-thug female to be a candidate for Veep.

Not for being a mother (as if that's supposed to qualify her automatically; there are plenty of more qualified mothers out there to be Veep or Prez, if this were a real democracy where people actually were allowed to vote, instead of "vote").

Rather, I was going to congratulate her for being the most irrelevant Vice-Puppetdential candidate in the history of the US.

When you're up against "The Chosen One", you're pretty much cooked, aren't you?

But then something happened.

Sarah Palin leaked all over the place.

You've read about some of it here and I'm sure you've read about it elsewhere, too.

And I ain't just talking about her daughter and the hypocrisy of her stance on abstinence when her own daughter can't keep her hands off psycho penis.

If you have no idea what I mean by the last statement, then you should check out Bristol Palin's boyfriend's website. Just look around, you might be able to find it (or not, as the GOP seems bound and determined to keep it out of site; spelling intended in order for pun to work).

Just look a couple posts below to read about the fact that Palin doesn't think rape's all that bad and women who are raped ought to have to give birth to the result. Even though the result will always be with the raped for the rest of their life, no matter what they do with the child.

I've just now come across this, thanks to Paul Street, who, in turn, links to the AP story that the following originates from:

"Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin told ministry students at her former church that the United States sent troops to fight in the Iraq war on a 'task that is from God.'

"In an address last June, the Republican vice presidential candidate also urged ministry students to pray for a plan to build a $30 billion natural gas pipeline in the state, calling it 'God's will.'

"Palin asked the students to pray for the troops in Iraq, and noted that her eldest son, Track, was expected to be deployed there.

"'Our national leaders are sending them out on a task that is from God,' she said. 'That's what we have to make sure that we're praying for, that there is a plan and that plan is God's plan.'"

This woman, in case you haven't figured it out, is fucking nuts.

God this and god that and, goddamn, someone shut her the fuck up!

If your son gets shot or blown up, is that part of god's plan, too, Governor?

Yeah, but hopefully that won't happen, right? Hopefully he'll just kill a bunch of innocent men, women and children, right? You still get into fictional heaven for that, don't you?

You know what I think god's plan is?

...

Exactly that and nothing more.

Cuz there is no god and there is no plan.

And Sarah Palin is the most irrelevant, whacked-out mental case vice-puppetdential candidate that ever lived.

And that's saying something.

Sarah Palin Believes In Forcing Rape And Incest Victims To Give Birth

As if this is any kind of surprise, Sarah Palin believes in forcing rape and incest victims to give birth to their rapist's spawn.

Palin On Abortion: I'd Oppose Even If My Own Daughter Was Raped

In November 2006, then gubernatorial candidate Sarah Palin declared that she would not support an abortion for her own daughter even if she had been raped.

Granting exceptions only if the mother's life was in danger, Palin said that when it came to her daughter, "I would choose life."

At the time, her daughter was 14 years old. Moreover, Alaska's rape rate was an abysmal 2.2 times above the national average and 25 percent of all rapes resulted in unwanted pregnancies. But Palin's position was palatable within the state's largely Republican political circles.

Now that she's John McCain's vice presidential candidate, Palin's abortion policy (among others) is undergoing renewed scrutiny. The Alaska Republican has long declared herself pro-life. And her credentials on the topic make her the belle of the ball among religious conservatives. But Democrats and abortion rights advocates say her stance, specifically her unwillingness to grant her own child a choice to end a pregnancy induced by rape, is drastically at odds with public opinion -- even among many Republicans.

"This is absolutely outside the mainstream. Even in South Dakota they rejected [outlawing abortion in cases of rape] in '06 because it has gone too far and everyone can identify that in a case of rape or incest a woman should have the chance to make the decision with their family or doctor," said Nancy Keenan, president of NARAL Pro Choice America. "Women voters are going to reject both her and John McCain, and I think we see it specifically because we reach out to Republicans and independent pro-choice women. They live in the suburbs and exurbs. They are very much part of the mainstream America. And woman in general will reject that ticket."

Palin makes no secret of her abortion views. A member of the group Feminists for Life, she told the Alaska Right to Life Board in 2002 that she "adamantly supported our cause since I first understood, as a child, the atrocity of abortion." In an Eagle Forum Alaska questionnaire filled out during the 2006 gubernatorial race, Palin again stated that she is against abortion unless a doctor determined that a mother's life would end due to the pregnancy.

"I believe that no matter what mistakes we make as a society," she wrote, "we cannot condone ending an innocent's life."

But it's not just abortion policy that has Democrats up in arms over Palin. In that same 2006 questionnaire, the soon-to-be governor said she would fund abstinence-only education programs in schools. "The explicit sex-ed programs," she added, "will not find my support." The stance, which reflected the priorities of the GOP, nevertheless led to an incredulous editorial in the Juneau Empire.

"Abstinence may be a laudable goal, but failing to educate teenagers about how to protect themselves from disease or unintended pregnancy is tragically misguided. According to the National Campaign to Prevent Teen Pregnancy, abstinence-only programs do not reduce sexual activity, teen pregnancy or sexually transmitted disease. Every day 10,000 U.S. teens contract a sexually transmitted disease, 2,400 get pregnant and 55 contract HIV. Unintended pregnancies happen to Republicans, Democrats and people of all faiths."

While Palin's positions have drawn the ire and concern of the pro-choice and progressive community, they are largely -- save abortions in the case of rape -- in line with John McCain's own stances. The Senator is against federal funding of birth control and sex education. He has called for the overturning of Roe v. Wade and received a zero rating from NARAL. Once, aboard the Straight Talk Express, McCain was asked if he supported the use of contraception or President Bush's abstinence-only education program to stem the spreading of AIDS.

"After a long pause, he said, 'I think I support the president's policy.' Does he believe that contraceptives help stop the spread of HIV? After another long pause, he replied, "You've stumped me."

So, let's see if I have this right. After all, I don't want to be accused of taking her comments "out of context".

Even if her own daughters were raped at any age, she would force them to give birth to their rapist's spawn. Nice "mother"!! Even if her own daughters were facing the prospect of serious medical complications due to a pregnancy, she would force her daughters to give birth so long as a doctor doesn't say with 100% certainty that they will die. Nice "mother"!!

Sarah Palin and anyone who thinks like she does is a pathetic excuse for a human being. She's scum!! She doesn't deserve to be Vice President, let alone Dog Shit Remover!!

Sarah Palin has no business telling anyone what rights they have, or what they should do. Sarah Palin is a pathetic excuse for a woman. She's no better than a rapist. She would force a child to have a child.

Can we demand a psychological exam for this lunatic? Clearly she's not all there!! Hell, can we demand a psychological exam for everyone who believes what she does? If they fail the exam, can we lock them up and throw away the key? There's no place in society for "people" like this. They deserve to be locked away so they can't spread their vile message.

Helen Mirren Says Rape Isn't Always Criminal

I seriously don't understand how anyone can defend what Helen Mirren had to say on the subject of rape. But, there are people actually defending her. Some have even suggested that her words were "taken out of context". Don't you just love that excuse?

When a rape case should not go to court, by Helen Mirren

Dame Helen Mirren was engulfed in controversy over the prosecution of date-rapists last night.

In an interview, the actress said women who are raped after willingly going to bed with a man cannot expect their attackers to be charged.

The 63-year-old, who won an Oscar last year for playing the Queen, said date-rape was a 'tricky area' and something men and women had to work out between themselves.

She said she was herself date-raped twice when she was young but did not report the attacks because 'you couldn't do that in those days'.

Her comments brought an angry reaction from Solicitor General Vera Baird, who said it was a 'dangerous' thing to say at a time when rape victims were being encouraged to come forward.

Dame Helen's comments came in an interview with GQ magazine, in which she also admitted she used to 'love' cocaine.

She said that if a woman voluntarily ended up in a man's bedroom, took her clothes off and engaged in sexual activity, she still had the right to say 'no' at the last second.

If the man ignored her, Dame Helen said, that was rape. But she continued: 'I don't
think she can have that man into court under those circumstances. I guess it is one of the many subtle parts of the men-women relationship that has to be negotiated and worked out between them.'

Mrs Baird, who has long fought for the rights of rape victims, said: 'It is a pity, because she is a much-admired person.

'We want women to report rape with the confidence that - albeit slowly - conviction rates are getting better. It really is a shame to cast doubt at the edges of what she thinks might not be rape.'

Dame Helen said young women now were better at standing up for themselves.

'Times have changed,' she said. 'I hate young girls going around beating each other up, but I love the fierceness of young girls nowadays, and the way they just say, '**** off', because I wish I'd been taught to say '**** off' when I was younger. I wish I'd had those words in my arsenal of self-defence.

'Instead, I was polite and didn't have the courage to say that to men who wouldn't accept "no" for an answer. I was very innocent when I went to college in London. I went to a convent school and had never spent a night away from home or gone to parties or any of that.

'I found guys were horrible, mean, rude, insulting, and so without feeling. I was looking for love and for someone who just liked me and I just met all these creeps.'

She recalled: 'I was [date-raped], yes. A couple of times. Not with excessive violence, but rather being locked in a room and made to have sex against my will. It's such a tricky area, isn't it? Especially if there is no violence.

'I mean, look at Mike Tyson [the boxer jailed for raping beauty pageant contestant Desiree Washington in an Indianapolis hotel room]. I don't think he was a rapist.'

Dame Helen revealed that she took cocaine until the early 1980s, when she would have been in her late 30s.

She claimed that she only gave up the drug after the Nazi war criminal Klaus Barbie was caught, and found to be making money from the Class A drug.

Asked whether she had ever taken any illegal substances she said: 'A bit of dope when I was younger.'

She added: 'A bit of cocaine. I loved coke. I never did a lot, just a little bit at parties.

'But what ended it for me was when they caught Klaus Barbie, the Butcher of Lyon, in the early Eighties.

'He was hiding in South America and living off the proceeds of being a cocaine baron.

'And I read that in the paper, and all the cards fell into place and I saw how my little sniff of cocaine at a party had an absolute direct route to this f******* horrible man in South America.

'And from that day I never touched cocaine again. Until that moment I had never grasped the full horrifying structure of what brings coke to our parties in Britain.

Barbie was the head of the Gestapo in Lyon during WWII when he personally tortured prisoners and was said to be responsible for the deaths of at least 4,000 people.

In 1987, at the age of 73, he was eventually sentenced to life imprisonment for crimes against humanity after he was found guilty of 341 separate charges.

In one incident 44 children were rounded up from a farmhouse east of Lyon and sent to their deaths on Barbie's command.

Dame Helen added: 'Not every drug has that structure, of course. Marijuana grown in the back garden is not the same, obviously.

'I hated it (marijuana). Dope always made me feel miserable and paranoid and unhappy. And I woke up one day and thought, no more of that, thank you.'

The actress, who said she shoplifted food when she was younger, has previously admitted once trying the hallucinogenic drug LSD.

The star found the experience - during a stroll in the countryside with a group of bohemian friends while in her 20s - so horrifying she vowed never to touch the drug again.

Rape is violent in and of itself. There is no requirement of secondary violence (beating, etc.) in order for rape to be violent.

This, coming from a rape victim, is deplorable. Rape is rape. If a woman says no, it doesn't matter when it is said. If she says no, no means no. If a man doesn't listen, he is a rapist. He should be arrested, charged with rape, and dragged in front of a court to be tried for his crimes.

Helen Mirren is full of shit!! She does a disservice to all women, and to all rape victims.

Oh The Hypocrisy!!

I'm sure everyone knows by now that Sarah Palin's unwed teenage daughter is pregnant. I've been reading the blogs and stories, and the comments are really ridiculous.

I commented on one blog about the blogger's hypocrisy. She is constantly bitching about teenage pregnancy, or unwed celebrities having babies. I called her on her hypocrisy and got the typical, asinine response.

I said, "What's the big deal? If that was her daughter's child and not hers, that would mean that her daughter was an unwed teenage mother. You've harped about teenage pregnancy many times. All of a sudden you couldn't care less? Why? Because she's the daughter of your VP candidate?

For the record, her daughter is currently an unwed PREGNANT teenager and that has been confirmed by Palin herself. I guess that will garner another "What's the big deal?" response.

Remember that the next time you harp about unwed celebrities having babies, or about teenage pregnancy."

She responded, "No, there's a difference.

First and foremost, we as a culture should do everything to discourage sexual activity outside the context of marriage. Would people still make bad choices? Sure. But we should not give in to the attitude of "they're just going to do it, anyway. I have always said that I am happy these young mothers choose life, even if I am not thrilled with their decisions.

It's much preferable to me to see a family that acknowledges their child make a mistake, but is accepting responsibility for his/her actions.

As opposed to Obama, who would see any unplanned grandchildren as punishments that could (read: should) be destroyed.

And, of course, there's the obvious that Obama's supporters will ignore anything that casts Obama in a negative light, too. Although his mistakes are far weightier than Palin's.

I believe Palin is an excellent choice. And I support her.

The Palin family is pro-life, and they walk the walk."

Obama says that this is off-limits. I'm going to point out the obvious here. Sarah Palin made this a PUBLIC issue. If she had any respect for her daughter, she would have said nothing. Or, she would have said that it was nobody's business. But Sarah Palin didn't do that. Sarah Palin CHOSE to make her daughter's pregnancy public knowledge. Now all of a sudden she's demanding respect and privacy. Sorry but this bitch made it everyone's business!! This is not off-limits Mr. Obama!!

I will not respect her or her family. She has no respect for all the women and girls out there who are faced with pregnancy and a choice. She believes that WE shouldn't have a choice.

We wouldn't be having this conversation today if Sarah Palin had spent as much time talking to her daughter about sex as she did trying to get her ex brother-in-law fired.
