What A Hypocrite!! Not A Surprise!!

The Pope is such a hypocrite. Last week the Pope appealed for an end to prejudice in the world. A week later, he's a bigot once again!!

Benedict asked for prayers for "every family, especially those in difficulty".

"May they be supported so that they will know how to resist the disintegrative pressures of a certain contemporary culture, which undermine the very foundations of the family as institution," the pontiff said.

So in other words, all you gay people out there need prayers really badly. Not because the Catholic Church and the Pope like you. Not because the Catholic Church and the Pope accept you for who you are. You need prayers really badly because you're destroying other families out there by speaking up for your right to equality. You're destroying other families out there by your desire to have families of your own. You're destroying other families out there by your very existence.

I'm tired of people pretending to be something that they're not. He's not a Christian. Anyone who would appeal for an end to prejudice one week, and turn around the next week with a message full of bigotry isn't a Christian. He's an asshole. He's a bigot. He's a hypocrite. He's a phony. And he certainly isn't a messenger of God. It's a shame that so many people around the world blindly follow this jackass, hang on his every word as though it's the Gospel, and worship him as though he were Jesus Christ himself.

I have a New Year's message for the Pope. GO TO HELL!!

Collateral Damage? Yeah Right!!

I would like to know when it became okay to use the term "collateral damage" when making a reference to innocent people being killed. Seriously, when was it? The people in this country bitched when Timothy McVeigh used that phrase when he talked about the innocent people that he murdered in the Oklahoma City Federal Building bombing. They said something along the lines of how dare he refer to the innocent as collateral damage. But now it's the "norm" to refer to innocent dead Iraqis as collateral damage.

While we're on the subject, I'm sick to death of these military assholes who use the excuse of not being able to distinguish between an insurgent and innocent civilians. Bullshit!! Innocent Iraqis are being murdered at the hands of the U.S. military, and the military is getting away with it by using this very excuse. Oh that's right, they would like us to believe that they can't tell the difference between an innocent child and a person throwing a grenade. They would like us to believe that they can't tell the difference between a mother carrying her baby, and a person shooting at them. They would like us to believe that these innocent people are dying because the military is just confused as to who is who. Again, BULLSHIT!! They're killing people right and left for absolutely no reason because they think they can. They think that they're entitled to do whatever they want. They need to be arrested for these atrocities, tried, convicted, and punished. And we don't need to impose these bullshit punishments like a year or two in jail. They need to spend the rest of their lives in prison, and not a U.S. prison for that matter.

U.S. Death Toll Reaches 3,000

That's right!! 3,000 "INVESTMENTS!!"

How many more "investments" are we willing to accept until we stand up and say that enough is enough? For me, "INVESTMENT" NUMBER 1 was too many!! But remember what Condi and George said, our "investments" are worthwhile in this "war on terror."

Yeah, tell that to the families and friends of the "investments" who won't be sharing a Happy New Year with their loved one(s) ever again!!

Convicted Rapist Moved To U.S. Embassy In Manila

A U.S. Marine convicted of raping a woman in the Philippines has been moved to the U.S. Embassy in Manila, and will remain there until all "legal appeals" have been exhausted.

First of all, yeah right!! Twenty dollars says that as soon as his appeals are exhausted, he will not be returning to the custody of Philippine authorities. Twenty dollars says that this rapist will remain in U.S. custody and will probably be sent back to the United States where his conviction will be overturned on the basis that his rights were somehow violated. Twenty dollars says that this rapist will not see another day behind bars. If I'm wrong, I'm wrong. But don't be surprised if that's exactly what happens.

Second of all, this man is a convicted rapist. Oh but I forgot, he's a man. He can do whatever he wants to a woman, claim it was consensual, and all is well. He shouldn't be held accountable because after all, he's a good boy. He would never do anything wrong. He's a U.S. Marine for Christ sake!! U.S. Marines don't rape women...cough...cough!! Nah, never!! Oh, but didn't some Marines rape a 14 year old girl in Iraq, murder her family, murder her, burn the house down to hide their crimes, and then lie about it? Nah, the U.S. military is honorable. They would never do horrible things like that!! Yeah right!!

The point to all of this is that he was convicted of raping this woman. He should be in jail where he belongs, and appeal from there. He shouldn't be handed over to U.S. custody. I don't give a shit about some agreement that both countries signed. The courts in the Philippines found him guilty. The courts in the Philippines decided that he raped this woman. Therefore, he should be rotting in jail with the rest of the criminals that are there. He shouldn't be housed comfortably in the U.S. Embassy or anywhere else. Why should he be afforded this luxury when he clearly didn't give a damn about the welfare of the woman he's been convicted of raping? He shouldn't, and the United States should stay the hell out of the business of the Philippines. He was tried and convicted in their country, not ours. The United States needs to stop trying to prevent justice from being served. He belongs in a jail in the Philippines, period!!

Kudos To Togo!!

Kudos to Togo for enacting a law that will allow abortion in the cases of rape and incest. They already allow it in cases of the health of the mother and child.

It's about time another country has seen the light when it comes to this issue. I applaud Togo for approving this law. It's about time they have realized that a woman who is the victim of rape or incest shouldn't be forced to carry that fetus to term. No woman or child should ever be forced to, EVER!!

Isn't That The Truth!!

Check out this commentary on Saddam Hussein's execution. It's the truth!!

For those of you who can't click on the link, I've provided the commentary below which is from The Independent UK via Truthout.org.

A Dictator Created Then Destroyed by America

By Robert Fisk

Saturday 30 December 2006

Saddam to the gallows. It was an easy equation. Who could be more deserving of that last walk to the scaffold - that crack of the neck at the end of a rope - than the Beast of Baghdad, the Hitler of the Tigris, the man who murdered untold hundreds of thousands of innocent Iraqis while spraying chemical weapons over his enemies? Our masters will tell us in a few hours that it is a "great day" for Iraqis and will hope that the Muslim world will forget that his death sentence was signed - by the Iraqi "government", but on behalf of the Americans - on the very eve of the Eid al-Adha, the Feast of the Sacrifice, the moment of greatest forgiveness in the Arab world.

But history will record that the Arabs and other Muslims and, indeed, many millions in the West, will ask another question this weekend, a question that will not be posed in other Western newspapers because it is not the narrative laid down for us by our presidents and prime ministers - what about the other guilty men?

No, Tony Blair is not Saddam. We don't gas our enemies. George W Bush is not Saddam. He didn't invade Iran or Kuwait. He only invaded Iraq. But hundreds of thousands of Iraqi civilians are dead - and thousands of Western troops are dead - because Messrs Bush and Blair and the Spanish Prime Minister and the Italian Prime Minister and the Australian Prime Minister went to war in 2003 on a potage of lies and mendacity and, given the weapons we used, with great brutality.

In the aftermath of the international crimes against humanity of 2001 we have tortured, we have murdered, we have brutalised and killed the innocent - we have even added our shame at Abu Ghraib to Saddam's shame at Abu Ghraib - and yet we are supposed to forget these terrible crimes as we applaud the swinging corpse of the dictator we created.

Who encouraged Saddam to invade Iran in 1980, which was the greatest war crime he has committed for it led to the deaths of a million and a half souls? And who sold him the components for the chemical weapons with which he drenched Iran and the Kurds? We did. No wonder the Americans, who controlled Saddam's weird trial, forbad any mention of this, his most obscene atrocity, in the charges against him. Could he not have been handed over to the Iranians for sentencing for this massive war crime? Of course not. Because that would also expose our culpability.

And the mass killings we perpetrated in 2003 with our depleted uranium shells and our "bunker buster" bombs and our phosphorous, the murderous post-invasion sieges of Fallujah and Najaf, the hell-disaster of anarchy we unleashed on the Iraqi population in the aftermath of our "victory" - our "mission accomplished" - who will be found guilty of this? Such expiation as we might expect will come, no doubt, in the self-serving memoirs of Blair and Bush, written in comfortable and wealthy retirement.

Hours before Saddam's death sentence, his family - his first wife, Sajida, and Saddam's daughter and their other relatives - had given up hope.

"Whatever could be done has been done - we can only wait for time to take its course," one of them said last night. But Saddam knew, and had already announced his own "martyrdom": he was still the president of Iraq and he would die for Iraq. All condemned men face a decision: to die with a last, grovelling plea for mercy or to die with whatever dignity they can wrap around themselves in their last hours on earth. His last trial appearance - that wan smile that spread over the mass-murderer's face - showed us which path Saddam intended to walk to the noose.

I have catalogued his monstrous crimes over the years. I have talked to the Kurdish survivors of Halabja and the Shia who rose up against the dictator at our request in 1991 and who were betrayed by us - and whose comrades, in their tens of thousands, along with their wives, were hanged like thrushes by Saddam's executioners.

I have walked round the execution chamber of Abu Ghraib - only months, it later transpired, after we had been using the same prison for a few tortures and killings of our own - and I have watched Iraqis pull thousands of their dead relatives from the mass graves of Hilla. One of them has a newly-inserted artificial hip and a medical identification number on his arm. He had been taken directly from hospital to his place of execution. Like Donald Rumsfeld, I have even shaken the dictator's soft, damp hand. Yet the old war criminal finished his days in power writing romantic novels.

It was my colleague, Tom Friedman - now a messianic columnist for The New York Times - who perfectly caught Saddam's character just before the 2003 invasion: Saddam was, he wrote, "part Don Corleone, part Donald Duck". And, in this unique definition, Friedman caught the horror of all dictators; their sadistic attraction and the grotesque, unbelievable nature of their barbarity.

But that is not how the Arab world will see him. At first, those who suffered from Saddam's cruelty will welcome his execution. Hundreds wanted to pull the hangman's lever. So will many other Kurds and Shia outside Iraq welcome his end. But they - and millions of other Muslims - will remember how he was informed of his death sentence at the dawn of the Eid al-Adha feast, which recalls the would-be sacrifice by Abraham, of his son, a commemoration which even the ghastly Saddam cynically used to celebrate by releasing prisoners from his jails. "Handed over to the Iraqi authorities," he may have been before his death. But his execution will go down - correctly - as an American affair and time will add its false but lasting gloss to all this - that the West destroyed an Arab leader who no longer obeyed his orders from Washington, that, for all his wrongdoing (and this will be the terrible get-out for Arab historians, this shaving away of his crimes) Saddam died a "martyr" to the will of the new "Crusaders".

When he was captured in November of 2003, the insurgency against American troops increased in ferocity. After his death, it will redouble in intensity again. Freed from the remotest possibility of Saddam's return by his execution, the West's enemies in Iraq have no reason to fear the return of his Baathist regime. Osama bin Laden will certainly rejoice, along with Bush and Blair. And there's a thought. So many crimes avenged.

But we will have got away with it?

Vatican Denounces Hussein Execution!! Does That Make The Pope And Others Enemy Sympathizers?

The Vatican denounced Saddam Hussein's execution today. Does that make the Pope and others enemy sympathizers?

Ooh, call Homeland Security in the United States to arrest any Cardinal or Bishop that agrees with the Vatican's stance. Call the CIA to grab the Pope to toss him in Gitmo. Yeah, yeah, yeah, he wasn't the one who gave the speech condemning the execution. But hey, that's just a little insignificant fact that means nothing in America. The Pope is guilty by association. The Vatican CLEARLY is guilty of having sympathy for the enemy for saying that his execution was "tragic."

Have you picked up the phone yet? Come on!! Dial!! You can't let enemy sympathizers get away with their sympathizing.

Delusional, Or Just Stupid?

CNN had a Quick Vote question posted this morning. Here it is:

Will Saddam Hussein's hanging help bring stability to Iraq?

Yes 22% 9232 votes

No 78% 33212 votes

Total: 42444 votes

This vote just goes to show that there are at least 9,232 delusional people out there this morning that voted yes to the question. What fantasy world are they living in?

News Flash: Hussein's Death Didn't End The Violence Today, And It Never Will!!

Check out the latest story about the violence taking place in Iraq. Saddam Hussein's death didn't end the violence in Iraq today. Sadly, it never will!!

Saddam Hussein Is Dead!! Who Cares!! Americans Are Still Ignorant!!

Saddam Hussein is dead. Who cares!! What I find laughable though is that some Americans this morning are still ignorant and have the IQ of 0. They still repeat the lie that Iraq "bombed" the World Trade Center on September 11th. They still repeat the lie that Iraq attacked us. Iraq didn't attack us on September 11th. If you believe the "official" story, it was 19 hijackers. Many of those hijackers came from our BFF country of Saudi Arabia. If you believe the "official" story, it was Osama Bin Laden that was behind the attacks not Saddam Hussein. But hey, facts are just facts. They don't really mean anything in America. By the way, where's Osama? Wasn't he WANTED DEAD OR ALIVE? Weren't we going to smoke him out of his cave? Weren't we going to get him on the run? Apparently it's now Osama Who.

Then they talk about their love for their president. Love him. Give him a blowjob. Who cares!! The point is, George Bush doesn't give a damn about you. He doesn't give a damn about what happens to you. Sure, you think he's great now that Saddam Hussein is dead. But are you going to be professing your love for him when he sends your ass over to Iraq to fight a war that should have never happened in the first place? Are you going to be professing your love for him when your ass becomes the latest "investment" in his war on terror? Is your family going to be professing their love for him when your ass is dead? I don't think so!! The problem with some Americans is that they talk with their brain completely empty. They don't stop to think about the garbage that comes out of their mouth. That would of course require a brain in the first place in order to think and speak, something which seems to be lacking in America.

Saddam Hussein is dead. Good riddens!! George Bush still thinks Saddam Hussein received a fair trial. Fair trial when your lawyers are being murdered right and left? Fair trial when you're not allowed to call witnesses? Fair trial when you're getting kicked out of the courtroom every single day? Fair trial when you're being tried in front of a court that clearly isn't impartial? Fair trial when you're being tried by a puppet government? Okay, he received a fair trial!! Perhaps when George Bush and his cohorts are put on trial for their crimes, they'll demand a fair trial like Hussein's. It was after all, fair!! Anything less would be...uncivilized!!

Saddam Hussein's execution means absolutely nothing. It's not going to end the violence in Iraq. It's not going to end the violence in the Middle East. It's not going to end the violence all over the world. The only thing it proved is that you can execute someone. Wow, what a new concept!!

Liberal Media? I Think Not!!

The so-called liberal media has hit a new low yesterday and today. That just proves to me that the media isn't liberal, especially after seeing what has been airing on tv.

For the last day now, CNN has been airing a segment where they're showing you how a person is executed via hanging. They're explaining in great details how someone dies as a result of hanging. They're explaining in great details how long it takes for someone to die by this method of execution. One of the assholes in the segment actually had the audacity to say, "Gee, that sounds like an awful long time to wait for someone to lose their air." Gee, you think bitch? How would you like it if you were sentenced to die by hanging? I don't think you would relish in the fact that you're going to die, and it's going to take you a little while to actually die by this method. But hey, who cares right?

Then this morning on C-SPAN the first question for callers to respond to was, "Should Hussein's execution be televised?" How disgusting are people in this country that they would actually want to sit there and watch someone else be executed? Well, this is America after all and there are some pretty sick and disgusting people that live here. So, I'm not at all surprised that people would actually enjoy watching an execution. Perhaps they can pop some popcorn, grab a few beers, and have an execution party with all of their friends and family. It's like they're watching the fucking Super Bowl or something.

However, I do have to say KUDOS to a few people who called the C-SPAN program this morning. They actually had the courage to say that Dick Cheney, Donald Rumsfeld, and George Bush Sr. should be standing right alongside Hussein in court, charged as co-conspirators, and given the same punishment that he was given. The United States handed Hussein the means to execute the crimes for which he will now be put to death for. Therefore, the United States officials who were involved in this are just as guilty as Hussein is, if not even more guilty. They helped him with his plans. They handed him the weapons of mass destruction that he used. They gave him the means, and opportunity to commit these crimes. Yet the hypocritical bastards sit here and act like their shit doesn't stink. Well, I've got news for them. Their shit does stink. When are they going to be held accountable for their roles in all of this? When are they going to be tried for war crimes? When are we going to get to see their executions televised?

Liberal media my ass!!

Can You Smell The Hypocrisy?

Can you smell the hypocrisy? Today the Pope appealed for an end to prejudice around the world. The man is head of a church that sees no problem with prejudice, especially when it comes to gay people.

I'd like to ask the Pope a few questions. Are you, as the leader of the Catholic Church, going to demand an end to the prejudices that the Catholic Church has when it comes to gay people? Are you, as the leader of the Catholic Church, going to demand an end to the prejudices that the Catholic Church has when it comes to those who use birth control? Are you, as the leader of the Catholic Church, going to demand an end to the prejudices that the Catholic Church has when it comes to those people who use other means to conceive a child? Are you, as the leader of the Catholic Church, going to demand an end to the prejudices that the Catholic Church has when it comes to those who undergo an abortion regardless of the reason for the abortion?

I can already tell you what his answer would be to every question I put forth here. His answer would be NO!! He talks a good game about ending prejudice around the world. Yet, I know that the Catholic Church is NOT going to change its position on any of these matters. Therefore, the Catholic Church and the Pope are going to continue the cycle of prejudice, discrimination, bigotry, hatred, and in some cases violence and death because of their position on such issues.

Oh, the hypocrisy just reeks to high hell!!

A Blow Dealt To Abortion Opponents, Charges Dropped Against Abortion Provider

Abortion opponents in Kansas were dealt a blow today after a judge threw out 30 criminal charges against an abortion provider.

You don't see me crying!! In fact, I'm actually very pleased. Kansas Attorney General Phill Kline clearly has been on a witch hunt for the past few years. All I can say is, you know it doesn't look good for you when the district attorney demands that the case be dismissed.

Kudos to the district attorney for demanding that this ridiculous case be dropped. Kudos to the district attorney for putting the outgoing Attorney General in his place. Kudos to the district attorney for actually following the law. And to Phill Kline, don't let the door hit you on the ass on your way out!!

Rice Says U.S. "Investments" Worth It In Iraq War

Condoleezza Rice said that the U.S. "investment" in the Iraq War is worthwhile. What investment is that? Why, it's the investment of U.S. lives.

Tell that to the families and friends of the 2,962 "investments." Tell them that their "investment" was worth it. This bitch has absolutely ZERO respect for the lives of U.S. soldiers. If you think otherwise, think again. When this bitch refers to dead soldiers as investments, that's not respect. That's called being a disgusting disgrace for a human being. That's called being the scum of the earth.

My suggestion to Rice is simple. Shut your damn mouth unless you're willing to offer yourself up as an "investment" in the Furor's illegal, idiotic, murderous, bigoted, racist war on terror. Or go back to doing the only thing that you were good at which was buying shoes when thousands of your fellow citizens on the Gulf Coast were dying in a hurricane.

Oops, was that too harsh? TOO DAMN BAD!!!!! She deserves to be sitting in the Hague and tried for crimes against humanity among other criminal offenses, right alongside her other murderous cohorts!! Instead, she's spouting her mouth off about U.S. "investments." Merry Christmas America!! You're nothing more than an "investment" to these criminals. Merry Christmas!!

VA Head Says Draft Would Benefit Society, Then Retracts Statement

Don't be alarmed people. This is typical. The VA head said that "society would benefit" if the country brought back the military draft." But then he later claimed that his comments were "misconstrued," and he didn't support bringing back the draft.

Yes, this is typical Bush-speak. Someone makes a statement, and later declares that his or her comments were taken out of context or it simply wasn't what her or she said. They say one thing, have their asses handed to them for saying it, and then deny it was ever said. I just want to know one thing. When are people ever going to own up to what they say?

If he thinks that the draft would benefit society, may I make a suggestion? Sign up Jenna and Barbara first!! Unless he or Bush is willing to do that, shut the hell up about the draft!! Nobody's going!!

Can We Have A Moratorium On Ignorant SOB's Being Elected To Congress?

Virgil Goode is one ignorant son of a bitch. Because of that, I'd like to demand a moratorium be placed on electing ignorant SOB's to Congress. Oh what the hell am I saying? Virgil Goode is what America is all about. America is full of ignorant people who think it's okay to be racist and bigoted.

Perhaps Virgil Goode needs a little lesson about Rep. Ellison (D-Minnesota), not that it would make any difference because you can't teach a jackass anything. That's why it's a jackass!! But, let's just say that he's getting a little lesson about Rep. Ellison. Keith Ellison is an American citizen, not an immigrant. Keith Ellison was a convert to Islam. Keith Ellison is NOT putting his hand on the Quran when he is sworn into office in January. Keith Ellison was elected by the people from the state of Minnesota.

If Virgil Goode doesn't like it, perhaps he should get the fuck out of America. Ellison was democratically elected by the people of his state. Isn't that one of the things that America prides itself upon, free elections? Or perhaps Virgil Goode would argue that the people of Minnesota are just stupid, and would vote for anyone. Perhaps Virgil Goode would argue that it was immigrants (illegal of course because that's what morons like Goode claim all immigrants are) that elected Keith Ellison to office. Perhaps Virgil Goode would argue that Keith Ellison should be thrown in Gitmo because he's being un-American by exercising his religious freedom. Perhaps Virgil Goode would argue that America should get rid of elections, and just allow Bush to put people of his choosing in office so that "stupid" Americans don't elect non-white, non-Christian people to office.

Goode also told Fox News he wants to limit legal immigration and do away with "diversity visas," which he said let in people "not from European countries" and "some terrorist states." Ooh, should we be afraid? God forbid that America isn't made up entirely of white people. God forbid that we have Blacks, Hispanics, Asians, Indians, Middle Eastern people, Africans, etc. in this country too. God forbid we don't live back in the day when black people were slaves to white people. God forbid we don't live in a time when it was typical of American culture to be racist and bigoted. Ooh, I'm scared because you know, I might live next to a Mu...Mu...Muslim. They might be plotting to convert me. They might be plotting to declare jihad upon me and my family.

In his letter, Goode wrote that strict immigration polices are necessary "to preserve the values and beliefs traditional to the United States of America." What exactly are those traditional values and beliefs of the United States? I guess it's that white people are the superior race. I guess it's that black people should be put back into slavery. I guess it's that women are second-class citizens, and should be stripped of all basic human rights. I guess it's that we should still be at war with the Native Americans. After all, these were the beliefs and practices of the United States of America way back when. So, that would technically make them the traditional values and beliefs of this country. Or is it that only WHITE CHRISTIAN MEN should be allowed to serve in office?

I've got news for Virgil Goode. If it weren't for all of these immigrants, America wouldn't exist. If it weren't for all of these black people, America wouldn't exist. If it weren't for people like Keith Ellison, America would just be the same ignorant, racist, bigoted country that it was years ago. Oh wait, it still is!! My suggestion to Virgil Goode is simple. Either shut the hell up, or leave. Keith Ellison is going nowhere!! The people of the state of Minnesota elected him. The people of the state of Minnesota wanted him as their representative. Perhaps the people of Virginia (Goode's state) should rethink what kind of trash they elect to office.

Gun Myth: Guns Don't Kill People, People Kill People.

I can't even count how many times I've heard the gun myth. The pro-gun people would have you believe that guns don't kill people, people kill people. Nice try!! If it weren't for the gun in someone's hand, other people wouldn't be dead. Or it would take a hell of a lot longer to kill someone without a gun in your hand. So get off this shit that guns don't kill people. I'm tired of hearing it. If it were actually true, shit like the following story wouldn't happen.

I can just see the wheels turning in the heads of pro-gun people. I'm sure that they'll come up with some excuse to explain this latest tragedy without making a gun look bad. Perhaps it will be that the shooter was mentally ill. Or, they'll say that the gun didn't kill the people, the shooter killed the people. But here's what they're failing to accept. If this shooter didn't have a gun in his hand, two women and three children might not be dead today. If this shooter didn't have a gun in his hand, another child might not be fighting for his life today.

Keep deluding yourself that guns aren't bad. Keep deluding yourself that you need a gun in order to protect yourself from all the "evil-doers" out there. Just keep being delusional but do me a favor. Stay the hell away from me because I don't care to listen to deluded pro-gun garbage being spewed out. It's a bunch of bullshit and everyone with a brain knows it.

Guns don't kill people, people kill people? Tell that to all of the victims of gun violence, their families, and their friends. I'd really like to hear what they have to say!!

"Twins Should Go To War"

On a taped episode of Hardball, Matt Damon made a comment about the war in Iraq. He said, "And if you're gonna send people to war, ahh, if, if we all get together and decide we need to go to war, then that needs to be shared by everybody. You know, and if the President has daughters who are of age then maybe they should go too."

Matt, Matt, Matt!! You're making way too many assumptions there. First of all, you're assuming that Bush actually cares about what's happening. He doesn't!! He only cares about how he looks, and that's with the assumption that he's actually clean and sober enough to care. Yeah right!! If you believe that, I have a building in Iraq to sell you. Oh wait, it's probably rubble by now. Will you accept a raincheck?

Second of all, you're assuming that Bush is actually willing to accept responsibility for his role in all of this. He doesn't. He passes the buck every chance he gets. He can't even keep the reasons straight for why we went to war in the first place. Is he going to take responsibility for the fact that the Iraq war is an illegal war? He can't do that because that would mean that he'd have to acknowledge that he violated the Constitution. You know, that pesky little thing that contains a clause in which only the Congress has the power and authority to declare war. Oops!!

Last but not least, you're assuming that he's willing to make an "ultimate sacrifice" of his own. He wasn't willing to make the ultimate sacrifice himself during the Vietnam war. He's certainly not going to sacrifice his drunken disgraces (daughters) for his War on Terra. For those of you who can actually pronounce it correctly, it's Terror. But don't tell George that because you might send him into a tizzy and he will run around the White House screaming FUCK all day. That or he might choke on a pretzel again!!

So you see Matt, George Bush isn't going to commit to his fair share of sacrifice in this war. He isn't going to send the twin drunks to do his dirty work. That of course is with the assumption that he's coherent enough to understand the words that are coming out of your mouth!! Rich little southern boys pretending to be President who are born with silver spoons up their noses don't have to accept responsibility for anything. They just have their daddies clean up their messes while they find some other country to shit upon.

Confused Or Just Stupid?

I came across this story today.

Read the story, and then read the last line of the story.

Catholics defend 'gay issues' teaching
Last Updated: 2:13am GMT 12/12/2006

Roman Catholic school leaders yesterday defended the way they teach children about homosexuality, rejecting calls to introduce policies against homophobic bullying.

Vincent Nichols, Archbishop of Birmingham and head of the Catholic Education Service, said classroom teaching must not be a "morally neutral" zone on issues like homosexuality.

He told MPs that the Catholic Church makes a strict distinction between a person's private sexual orientation and their behaviour, stressing: "Sexual intercourse belongs within marriage."

The archbishop outlined his views in evidence to the Commons education committee, which is investigating citizenship education in schools.

Ministers want all schools to develop separate policies on tackling homophobic bullying and headteachers are legally required to have general anti-bullying policies. But Archbishop Nichols said Catholic schools did not think it was necessary for specific measures to address bullying targeted at children who were lesbian or gay.

"If you begin to pick out particular sections then the list of special policies is going to get very long and there probably would not be too much room on the walls to accommodate it," he said.

A robust general policy to tackle all forms of bullying was the best approach.

MPs on the committee asked him whether the Catholic schools would help foster community relations given this stance on issues such as homosexuality.

The archbishop said: "The Catholic Church makes a very clear distinction between the orientation of the person and their sexual behaviour.

"The Catholic Church would stand very firmly for the equal dignity and rights of a person no matter what their sexual orientation."

So, let's recap the Catholic Church's stance on homosexuality. The Catholic Church believes it's a sin to be gay. Then they said that you're not a sinner if you're gay unless you act upon your feelings. If you're gay, they encourage you not to share that with anyone outside of a close circle of friends/family in the Church. I'd assume that if you're gay you can't have communion because then that would mean that they support gay people. The Catholic Church doesn't believe in the right of gay people to get married. The Catholic Church also doesn't believe in the right of gay people to adopt children.

Now the Catholic Church says, "The Catholic Church would stand very firmly for the equal dignity and rights of a person no matter what their sexual orientation." Which is it? Either you're against gay people having equal rights, or you think that gay people should have the same rights that heterosexual people have. You can't have it both ways. You can't say that you're for equality, but then turn around and say that gay people shouldn't be allowed to do this or that.

The way I see it, they're one of three things or all of the above.

1)They're confused about their own stance on gay people and homosexuality.
2)They're stupid and ignorant.
3)They're just saying whatever they think will appease people, but they aren't sincere.

Perhaps the Catholic Church has different policies for every country in the world. Whatever!! I'll say they're a combination of all of the above. I would say number two but then that would just be mean, and I don't want to be accused of being mean to Catholics. I don't want to be accused of bashing the Catholic Church. That would be bad!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Pinochet's Dead, White House Calls His Dictatorship "A Difficult Period In Chilean History."

Augusto Pinochet is dead, and the White House called his dictatorship "a difficult period in Chilean history."

I guess you could call it a difficult period in Chilean history if you consider systematic torture, murder, illegal detention, and "disappearances" to be a "difficult" thing. God damn these people are ignorant to the facts. Jesus Christ, he was accused of crimes against humanity and all the White House can muster up is that his period of rule was a difficult one. Gee, ya think? Tell that to the families of his victims. Tell that to his victims that were lucky enough to survive. Gee, we're sorry that you had to endure a difficult period but look on the bright side, your country survived that difficult period.

It's not surprising that the United States would make a half-assed statement regarding Pinochet's death yesterday. After all, the United States is at the very least partially responsible for Pinochet's reign of terror. The United States backed his coup d'état against Chilean President Salvador Allende. If you don't believe me, I suggest that you do your own research. You'll be surprised at what you find out about the role the United States government played in ultimately bringing Pinochet's reign of terror down upon innocent people, and not just the Chilean people. If you want to read more about how the United States was involved, start here.

I guess the one good thing that comes out of his death is that he can no longer terrorize people. He can no longer sit there without being held accountable for his terror. He's dead. I wonder how he's enjoying the start of his eternity in hell with all of his other playmates.

Rudolph Doesn't Like Prison. Boo Hoo!!

Eric Rudolph doesn't like prison. Why should anyone feel sorry for him? I certainly don't. He should have thought about that before he decided that he was going to bomb the Atlanta Olympics, a clinic, and at least two other places.

If I recall correctly, it was Rudolph's choice to plead guilty to the charges against him. He was given the choice of the death penalty, or spending the rest of his miserable life in prison. He chose the latter of the two by agreeing to plead guilty in order to remove the death penalty from the table.

"It is a closed-off world designed to isolate inmates from social and environmental stimuli, with the ultimate purpose of causing mental illness and chronic physical conditions such as diabetes, heart disease and arthritis," he wrote in one letter to The Gazette of Colorado Springs.

What does he expect? Does he expect to be living in Club Fed where all the dirty politicians are sent for their crimes? The purpose of being where he's at is not to cause mental illness, although some would argue that in order to do what he did he had to be insane in the first place. The purpose of being where he's at is to ensure that he spends the rest of his life with as little comfort and fun as possible. The other purpose of being where he's at is to ensure that the rest of society isn't subjected to his cold, murderous rampage ever again.

Like I said, perhaps he should have thought about these things before he decided to go on his rampage. Maybe if he had, he wouldn't be in prison today. Innocent people would have never been injured or killed because of Rudolph. The Atlanta Olympics would have never been tarnished by the images of a bombing at the hands of Rudolph. But he made his CHOICE. The same can't be said for his victims. They weren't given a CHOICE. So excuse me if I don't have even a drop of sympathy for him. He doesn't deserve any!!

Abortion Bill Defeated

Kudos to the House for defeating this bill!!

Abortion foes' fetal pain bill defeated
Noam N. Levey, Los Angeles Times

Thursday, December 7, 2006

(12-07) 04:00 PST Washington -- House Republicans opposed to abortion rights failed Wednesday in their bid to pass a controversial measure that would have required women seeking abortions to be informed that some fetuses feel pain.

Although it was clear the bill would have stalled in the Senate, the abortion opponents hoped the House vote would provide a symbolic victory before control of Capitol Hill passes to Democrats in January. Instead, the vote dealt social conservatives a final setback in a two-year congressional session that has not produced a major piece of anti-abortion legislation.

The bill received majority support, 250-162. But that fell short of the two-thirds majority vote required under rules that limited debate.

Those decrying the outcome included Concerned Women for America, an advocacy group for socially conservative causes.

"Abortion not only kills a baby, it tortures them," said Wendy Wright, the group's president. "Regrettably, congressmen -- many who denounced the use of torture against suspected terrorists -- have voted to not let women know that abortion will torture their innocent unborn babies."

Abortion rights supporters applauded the bill's failure as they prepared for the arrival of a Democratic Congress in which such measures almost assuredly will never see the light of day.

"This sham bill is yet another partisan political ploy that misguidedly attempts to insert the government into private medical conversations between women and their doctors," said Rep. Lois Capps, D-Santa Barbara, who helped lead opposition to the legislation.

The opponents also disputed the claim by the bill's backers that fetuses 20 weeks old or more experience pain.

The bill has not been a top priority for anti-abortion activists. Their movement suffered a tougher loss earlier in the fall when a measure to strengthen parental consent laws was derailed in the Senate after passing the House.

The fetal pain bill was sponsored by Rep. Chris Smith, R-N.J.

"It's about time that women were told the truth about abortion," he said during floor debate.

Smith and others argued that because some evidence has been found that older fetuses feel pain, women seeking to terminate a pregnancy should be informed of that by abortion providers.

The bill would have required that the women be offered the choice of having anesthesia administered to the fetus.

Smith also said, "Is it our hope that this (bill) may dissuade a woman from allowing her child to be killed? Absolutely."

NARAL Pro Choice America, one of the nation's leading abortion rights groups, was neutral on the bill. Other groups, including the National Abortion Federation, opposed it, arguing that the evidence that fetuses feel pain is inconclusive.

"Requiring misleading mandated communication is an inappropriate and dangerous intrusion of Congress into private health care decisions," the heads of seven abortion rights groups and health care providers wrote in a letter to lawmakers.

I applaud the House for defeating this bill. It's a victory for the right to choice. It's a victory for women. A woman has a right to control her own body. Congress doesn't!! The President doesn't. Pro-lifers, especially men, don't!!

My head feels pain every single time a pro-life moron decides to open his or her mouth to spew the crap that this movement preaches. Perhaps I could be given something so that my head will stop hurting.

These pro-lifers are hilarious despite causing headaches. They're constantly talking about the pain and torture a fetus goes through when a pregnant woman decides to have an abortion. Yet these same bitches have no problem with their government torturing innocent people. They have no problem with torture period, unless of course they're talking about a fetus. They have no problem with the death penalty. They have no problem murdering innocent men, women, and children in other countries all in the name of "freedom" here at home. They have no problem with anything, except when a woman demands the right to control her own body. That's like the biggest sin in the world to demand control of your body, unless you're a man.

Again, congratulations to the House for finally doing something right!!

More Hateful, Ignorant Americans.

Residents of Katy, Texas are complaining about plans to build a mosque in the city.

After reading the story, my point is proven. There are hateful, ignorant Americans in this country who have absolutely no idea what the hell they're talking about. Blatant bigotry is running rampant in this country, and it completely disgusts me that it's allowed to happen. But what do you expect from people in this country? Oh, but I forgot, it's okay to be a bigot when it comes to Muslims. The bigots just won't acknowledge that they are bigots. They say something like, I know Muslims. That's like listening to Michael Richards trying to explain his racist tirade against black people by saying, "I grew up with black kids." And? Just because you know a Muslim or grew up with a black person doesn't make you any less of a bigot or racist. When you say bigoted or racist things, you're a BIGOT or a RACIST.

One man threatened to hold pig races on Fridays just to offend the Muslims. That shows just how ignorant and stupid he is. As the president of the Katy Islamic Association said, the man failed in his attempt to offend Muslims. Muslims don't dislike pigs. They just don't eat them. What a moron!!

An anti-Islamic website was set up in response to this project. The site claims the neighbors will have to hear the Muslim call to prayer from the mosque's minaret five times a day — the Islamic group denies that — and offers an audio sample. How is hearing the call to prayer any different than having to listen to church bells and church music playing from churches? It's not. I live about six blocks from a Catholic church, and in the summer when the windows are open you can hear the music playing and the church bells ringing. But you don't hear me complaining about being subjected to that.

Besides keeping track of the running total of post-Sept. 11 terrorist attacks, the Web site provides home addresses of some association members and advises people who see anything suspicious to contact the FBI. Many people have sent anti-Islamic e-mails to the site. Perhaps someone should contact the FBI to make a complaint about the person who set up this website because he or she has violated the privacy of association members who have had their home addresses posted on this site. What is the website owner trying to accomplish here? Is he or she trying to encourage people to commit acts of violence against these association members? It certainly sounds like a tactic that is used often by racist or pro-life groups. Check out some of their websites if you don't believe me!! It's no surprise that this site has received anti-Islamic e-mails. When you're dealing with ignorant bigots in this country, what do you expect?

Cynthia Blackman wrote Radack that the center was a security risk: "Would you and your family safely and comfortably live next to this 11-acre Muslim mosque and facilities?" It's a security risk? Why? Because their Muslimness might rub off on you? Oh no!! Then you would have like Muslim germs on you, and that's like the worst kind of germs you could have.

I think the same could be said about Catholic churches then. They're security risks to have them in residential neighborhoods, especially neighborhoods where children live. After all, a priest or a nun might approach a child who is playing outside. The child could become the victim of a pedophile priest or nun by living near a Catholic church. Oh, did I just offend Catholics? But I wasn't being offensive. I was just saying that Catholic churches were security risks, given the numerous cases of clergy abuse in this country. I wasn't really being hateful towards Catholics. I was just saying that I was concerned.

Are These People For Real?

I came across this story a few minutes ago, and I had to ask a question. Are these people for real? Jesus Christ these people are absolute morons!! Read the story, and decide for yourself how stupid these people are.

Indictment against nun in abuse case from 1960s

By Manya A. Brachear
Tribune staff reporter
Published December 6, 2006

A Sister of Mercy who taught in Chicago-area Catholic schools for more than three decades has been indicted in Wisconsin over allegations that she abused pupils at a Milwaukee school nearly 40 years ago.

Sister Norma Giannini is accused of having sexual intercourse with two boys--ages 12 and 13--when they were students at St. Patrick Elementary School in the 1960s. According to a criminal complaint, more than 100 sexual encounters took place in the church's convent, school office and one victim's home.

Charges are allowable against Giannini, 78, because in Wisconsin the statute of limitations halts if the alleged offender leaves the state. Giannini, who was serving as an 8th-grade teacher and principal at St. Patrick's at the time of the alleged assaults, moved to Illinois in 1969.

The Sisters of Mercy removed Giannini from service in December 1992 when the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Milwaukee notified them of allegations against her, according to Sister Betty Smith, president of the order's Chicago region.

After treatment at a facility in St. Louis, Giannini returned to do clerical work for the order and was never allowed to work with minors again, Smith said, adding that Giannini now lives in a retirement center in the western suburbs.

The archdiocese apparently did not report the allegations to civil authorities. The accusers recently began working with Milwaukee law enforcement, and prosecutors filed charges Monday.

Giannini was principal of Most Holy Redeemer School in Evergreen Park when she was removed. Smith said parents at the time were not told why Giannini's contract had been terminated in the middle of the school year.

"We are much wiser about this now," Smith said. "Our sense of duty has changed as the years have evolved. I think we tried to respond the best we could with justice, with compassion and with what we thought was sensitivity to all parties involved. As these years have unfolded with the whole onslaught of clergy abuse, we've [learned] there is responsibility to report any abuse."

Giannini is not the only Sister of Mercy facing abuse allegations. Smith said two other nuns--one of them dead--also have been accused. Citing confidentiality, she would not name the nuns and said she could not say if the order has reported the allegations to civil authorities.

"There are instances where there have been other individuals who have come forward," Smith said. "Those situations have been handled separately. There are no criminal charges of any sort."

According to the criminal complaint, Giannini admitted to an archdiocesan review board in August 1996 that she had sexual intercourse and oral sex with the two boys. The sexual encounters allegedly occurred during music lessons after school and while one boy delivered newspapers to the convent on his paper route.

"She told the panel that she took vows at the age of 18 and she had lived a sheltered life and did not know anything about sex," the complaint says. "She told the panel that it was infatuation, and she was lonely. ... She stated during the interview that the sexual act was not as strong as the emotional need for intimacy."

"Once I left Milwaukee nothing ever happened," she reportedly told the panel. "I never intended to hurt a child. ... I thought I was in love with both of them."

Like many dioceses, the Milwaukee archdiocese opened its investigations of abuse allegations to law enforcement in 2002, said communications director Kathleen Hohl. This week's criminal charges came as a surprise, she said.

Barbara Blaine, president of the Survivors Network of those Abused by Priests, said that since 2002 the group has fielded more than 2,000 allegations against Roman Catholic clergy and 300 against nuns nationwide.

Jan Hindman, a clinical therapist and author in Oregon who has studied more than 1,000 sexual abuse cases, said emotional damage can be especially severe when women are the abusers.

"It's about betrayal," said Hindman. "The greater the expectation, the greater the trauma when they betray. We have great expectations for women. ... Add to that a powerful position as a nun, that makes it even more difficult."

A Chicago native, Giannini began teaching in 1949 and served at parish schools including St. Paul of the Cross in Park Ridge, St. Catherine in West Dundee, St. Ita in Chicago, St. Catherine in Oak Park and the now-closed St. Finbarr in Chicago until 1964.

After her stint in Milwaukee she returned to Illinois in 1969 and served at Christ the King in Chicago until 1972. She then worked at Mother McAuley High School until 1977, finishing there as one of four deans before becoming principal of Little Flower on the South Side.

After a brief return to Mother McAuley, she moved to St. Clare of Montefalco in Chicago, then became principal of Holy Redeemer in 1989.

Because each nun takes a vow of poverty, Smith said, the religious order would finance her legal defense.

In February, a Wisconsin jury convicted Rev. Donald McGuire, a renowned Jesuit priest, of molesting two Loyola Academy students during retreats in the Lake Geneva area in 1967 and 1968.

Prosecutors chose to try McGuire in Wisconsin because he, too, was not shielded by the state's statute of limitations.

I don't know what is worse, the fact that this nun is basically trying to excuse what she did or the fact that the other woman is trying to make excuses for why they did nothing about what was happening. The allegations of abuse were never reported by the archdiocese to police. The archdiocese should be held accountable for that, and should face prosecution. They knew these children were being abused and did NOTHING!!

Smith said, "We are much wiser about this now." "Our sense of duty has changed as the years have evolved. I think we tried to respond the best we could with justice, with compassion and with what we thought was sensitivity to all parties involved. As these years have unfolded with the whole onslaught of clergy abuse, we've [learned] there is responsibility to report any abuse."

Really? You're much wiser now? Were you stupid back when the abuse took place? Were you so stupid that you didn't realize that sexually abusing a child is a crime? Were you so stupid that you didn't realize that sexually abusing a child was wrong? God, how dumb can you be that you don't realize it's wrong and that you should do something to stop it? And you tried to respond with sensitivity, compassion, and justice to all those involved? What about the boys who were being abused? Were you doing them justice by keeping your mouths shut? Were you doing them justice by allowing them to be abused over 100 times? You shouldn't have showed these nuns compassion. You should have had their asses thrown in jail. You had a responsibility to report the abuse, but you chose not to. That makes you just as guilty as the abusers themselves because you let it continue to happen.

Are we supposed to feel sorry for the nun that's being accused? Are we supposed to feel sorry for her because she CHOSE to become a nun when she was 18 and knew nothing about sex? Are we supposed to feel sorry for her because she thought that she was in love with these boys? Good Lord!! How psycho are you that you think you're in love with a child?

I don't care how old this woman is. She needs to be tried. She needs to be convicted. She needs to spend the rest of her life in jail. I don't want to see people showing her compassion because she's an old lady now. I don't want to see people find sympathy for her, and let her go free. She deserves to rot in jail for the rest of her life for what she did. I especially don't want to see the archdiocese throw some cash at the victims in exchange for these charges being dropped. It's about time these priests, nuns, and everyone else are held accountable for their crimes.

VP's Gay Daughter Is Pregnant

Oh no, sound the alarms. Dick Cheney's gay daughter is pregnant.

Where are the right-wing, Christian, Bible-thumping bigots? Why aren't they out there protesting that the gay daughter of the Vice President is pregnant? After all, they don't think that gay people should be allowed to be parents because they might recruit their children and turn them gay. To them, being gay is a choice. To them, you're not born gay. So, where are they? Would they dare to put their money where their mouth is and protest at Dick's doorstep? Yeah right!!

Calling all bigots!! Come out, come out, wherever you are!! We all know you're dying to say something about the evils of this "travesty."

My only hope for Mary Cheney is that she and her partner raise this child to respect everyone, regardless of who they are. That's the very best thing that they can do for their child.

U.S. Bitches About Beef

The United States is bitching at South Korea after South Korea prevented a shipment of U.S. beef from being sold in their country.

In this latest shipment, small pieces of bone were found in the beef. Can you really blame South Korea for not wanting to sell something like that? I certainly wouldn't buy it, and I sure as hell wouldn't eat it. But the United States accused South Korea of using "underhanded tactics" in order to prevent U.S. beef from being sold in the country.

Attention United States:

That is South Korea. The South Koreans can do whatever they damn well please in their own country. If they want to refuse your products, they have every right to. You, on the other hand, have no right to demand that they do whatever the hell you say. I suggest that you keep your nose out of it unless you want to be banned from selling anything in South Korea. And, I for one would like to see that happen!!

British Cardinal Responds To Blair's Approach TO AIDS Fight

A British Cardinal responded to Tony Blair's approach in the fight against AIDS. Blair said that the British government would increase its distribution of condoms to the "developing world" to help in the fight against AIDS.

The Cardinal said, "Funds used by the British government to purchase condoms to limit the spread of HIV/AIDS in the developing world would better be spent on anti-retroviral drugs for the millions of affected women and children." He went on to say, "The way to combat AIDS is primarily, as everyone should know, behavioral change, monogamous partnerships between a man and a woman."

So, let me see if I have this right. The British government shouldn't spend money on preventing AIDS by distributing condoms to those in need. Instead, they should just spend all the money on medicine for those who already have the disease. Forget about prevention. Just concern yourself with treatment. Nice!! In other words, who gives a shit if you get the disease after not using a condom because one wasn't available. We don't care about preventing you from getting the disease in the first place. We just want to make sure that you don't use those evil condoms. After all, condoms spread AIDS, or at least that's what Catholics have been preaching.

I do love the logic that somehow AIDS can be prevented as long as a man and a woman change their behavior, and they are in a monogamous relationship. Nice try Cardinal. Who says that said man or said woman didn't have a sexual relationship prior to this one, and that relationship resulted in one or the other contracting HIV?

Africa, he said, referring to discussions he has had with the continent’s bishops, is “flooded with condoms” that has “meant more promiscuity and more AIDS.” Oh good Lord!! Africa is flooded with condoms which has meant more promiscuity and more AIDS? Where are the condoms sir? If Africa is overflowing with condoms, where are they? Produce these condoms because I want to see them!! Condoms don't promote promiscuity and AIDS asshole. Condom use promotes being responsible when you're having sex so that you can prevent AIDS and other diseases. Not using a condom is what promotes AIDS. Not using a condom and not allowing people to use one is not only irresponsible, it's essentially handing down a death sentence when you're talking about AIDS.

Acknowledging that the Vatican has a report on and is studying the use of condoms within marriage where one of the partners is HIV positive, the cardinal said the Catholic Church “stands by what it says” against the use of condoms. So again in other words, who gives a shit if you get AIDS. The Catholic Church has spoken, and we're telling you that using a condom is a sin. We're telling you that it's immoral to use a condom. Who gives a damn if it can prevent a husband or wife from contracting HIV. What the Catholic Church says is what goes in other words.

God damn, have I told you lately how much I hate these people? It's completely asinine to not help people prevent a disease simply because some assholes sitting over in the Vatican think that using a condom is a sin. Jesus Christ, what the hell is wrong with these people? They might not be having sex, ***yeah right*** but other people are. If even one person can be prevented from getting HIV by giving them a condom, it's worth it. Fuck religious beliefs. This is not a game. This is a matter of life and death. Apparently the Catholic Church thinks that death is better, as long as they continue to look moral in the eyes of a fucking cloud being!! While they're trying to reserve a spot in heaven, people are dying simply because some assholes in a robe who wear a cross think that they have the right to say what's moral and what's not. Quit playing GOD and start doing something about really fighting AIDS.

Yet More Hypocrisy!! Senator's Wife Gets Reprieve From Deportation.

The smell is in the air. What smell is that you ask? It's the smell of hypocrisy. A state senator's wife from Georgia got a reprieve from being deported, and she might be allowed to receive U.S. citizenship.

Talk about hypocrisy. Yes, what happened may not have been her fault. However, it's still hypocrisy if you ask me. For how many months have we been talking about immigration in this country? For how many months have we been talking about sending immigrants back to the countries from which they came? Yet this senator's wife is going to be allowed to stay here, and might be allowed to receive citizenship. What a bunch of bullshit!! If we're going to throw immigrants out of this country which I personally believe is bullshit to begin with, then she shouldn't be treated any differently than any of the other immigrants that are here. And why are they treating her with special gloves? Well, of course it's because she's a politician's wife. The fact remains though, this woman was hiding out since November 28th to avoid Immigration officials. That fact right there is enough for me to say HELL NO to lifting the deportation order. She should be thrown out if we're demanding that others are thrown out.

I guess if you know powerful people, you can stay in this country. But if you're a poor illegal immigrant who doesn't know anybody, to hell with you!! Isn't America great? Yeah right!!

Law In Israel Keeps Darfur Refugees Out

I would say how ironic it is that Israel has a law that is keeping refugees out of Israel, Darfur refugees in particular, but somehow I can't find the funny irony in this story.

You would think that because of what happened to many Jewish people back during World War 2, Jewish people would never turn someone away who was fleeing pretty much the very same thing that they were. The people of Darfur are being murdered, just like many Jewish people were murdered by the Nazi's. The only difference is, the people of Darfur aren't being shipped off to concentration camps. They're just being murdered right where they are.

Under the law, the bill would prohibit the interior minister from granting a residency permit to a citizen from a "threat country," or to anyone who constitutes a security risk to Israel. The law defines such individuals as anyone living in a country conducting terror activities against Israel. What exactly is the threat that these Darfur refugees pose to Israel or Israelis? Is Israel afraid of allowing black people from Africa into their country? It's just a question that I want to know the answer to. You can't honestly tell me that these refugees are plotting terrorist activities against Israel. They're running for their damn lives. They're not plotting anything!!

Attorney Nurit Tabib, of the Tel Aviv District Prosecutor's office, explained the state's position in a response to a suit filed in the Tel Aviv Administrative Court: "...the security services have no possibility for distinguishing between someone who is infiltrating Israel on orders from Al-Qaida and someone who is an innocent infiltrator fleeing for his life."

The state is also concerned about setting a precedent.
What kind of precedent is that? A precedent for showing compassion to people who are fleeing genocide in their country, and running for their lives? Or is it setting a precedent of allowing Africans into your country? WHAT IS IT?

Article 44 of the Fourth Geneva Convention of 1949 determines that a country to which refugees have fled must not treat them as enemy aliens simply because they are citizens of an enemy country. This article was proposed by Israel, in response to the treatment of Jewish refugees during World War II. Why am I not surprised here by this fact? Once again Israel has chosen to ignore their obligations to uphold the Geneva Convention. Not only that, they're failing to uphold this particular article of the Geneva Convention that they actually proposed in the first place.

Can you say hypocrisy? This is a blatant disregard for the safety and lives of these refugees, and Israel knows it. They know that they're once again in violation of the Geneva Convention, and they don't care. I wonder how quickly the UN or the United States is going to intervene here and demand that Israel live up to its obligations. Somehow I think that even after I'm long dead people will still be waiting for that to happen. After all, if the UN intervenes, the United States is bound to bully everyone into backing down from holding Israel accountable. It happens every single time!! Why should this time be any different? Trust me, it won't be. Unfortunately, the Darur refugees are the ones that will end up paying for it.

How Poetic!!

How poetic it was that Kevin Federline was booted from the gameshow 1 VS. 100 last night on a nursery rhyme question!! Here was the question:

In the nursery rhyme Hey Diddle Diddle, what did the dish run away with?

A) The China
B) The Flatware
C) The Glassware

Although they didn't reveal what Federline's answer actually was, he didn't give the correct answer. The host asked Federline if he was familiar with a table setting. His response was, "yeah but only when one is set up for me."

It was so fitting that he was booted on that type of question, given his lack of parental responsibility. It's not surprising that he didn't know a nursery rhyme. Here's a suggestion Kevin, stop trying to promote an album that has sold less than 3,000 copies. Stop partying, and start being a parent to all FOUR of your children. Maybe then you might actually know that the DISH RAN AWAY WITH THE SPOON, and that a spoon is neither china nor glassware. God help these children, especially since they have some of his genes!!

Conservative Jewish Radio Host Causes Uproar Over Oath And The Bible

Dennis Prager, a conservative Jewish radio show host caused an uproar on Tuesday when he posted a column on a conservative website.

In the column, Prager attacked the newly elected Minnesota Democrat Keith Ellison for choosing to swear his oath of office on January 4, 2007 on the Quran. Prager said, "He should not be allowed to do so, not because of any American hostility to the Koran, but because the act undermines American culture." He said Ellison, a convert from Catholicism, should swear on a Christian Bible -- which "America holds as its holiest book. … If you are incapable of taking an oath on that book, don't serve in Congress."

First of all, who the hell does Dennis Prager think he is? Would he be bitching if Joe Lieberman said that he wanted to swear his oath on the Torah? Somehow, I don't think Dennis Prager would have a problem with that. He can swear up and down that this has absolutely nothing to do with America's hostility to the Quran or to Muslims, but that's exactly what this is about. This is about a man who's a bigot. He clearly has a problem with a man who is Muslim, and has a problem respecting that man's religion. How dare Dennis Prager attempt to dictate what religious object someone can swear an oath on, or what religion someone can follow. Nobody's telling him that as an American, he can't be Jewish. Nobody's telling him that he can't put his hand on a Torah. Yet, he thinks that he has some kind of right to dictate to another person what is acceptable as far as religions and oaths go. I wonder if Dennis Prager is proud to be a bigot.

Second of all, this is America. Keith Ellison is an American. He is free to follow any religion of his choosing. He is free to swear his oath of office on any object he damn well chooses. If Americans don't like it, tough shit!! While I'm on the subject of America, what the fuck is this shit about it undermining America's culture? Really Mr. Prager? And I do use the word Mr. very loosely because you're not a man if you think you can dictate to others what's acceptable. You're an bigoted asshole. What exactly is it undermining? God forbid that American citizens follow various religious faiths. God forbid that we're not all goose-stepping, and brainwashed into believing that Christianity is the only religion, the one "true" religion. God forbid that Muslims be allowed to express their religious beliefs just like everybody else. Keith Ellison is not a Christian. He is a Muslim. Dennis Prager is not a Christian. He's Jewish. Keith Ellison deserves to be respected just as much as Dennis Prager does when it comes to religion.

To all the other racists and bigots out there, go crawl back into the hole in the ground from which you came. Keith Ellison was elected by the people of the state of Minnesota. If you don't like it, too fucking bad!! You didn't vote for him. The people of the state of Minnesota did. They didn't have a problem with the fact that he was Muslim. In fact, many people didn't even know he was Muslim. When they were told that he was, they said that if they had known it wouldn't have changed their vote. They would have still voted for him. Keith Ellison has every right to put his hand on the Quran. Keith Ellison is going to swear his oath on the Quran on January 4, 2007. If you're all truly Christians like you claim to be, I suggest that on January 4, 2007 you bring your racist, bigoted asses to church and start praying because if you believe in God than you're going to need all the prayers you can get to save your sorry asses from an eternity in hell!!
