Bush's Plan To Boost Morale In Kansas
Bush visited Kansas today to tour the damage from the recent tornadoes.
What's Bush's plan to boost morale? I'm really not sure, but he wants to "touch somebody's soul." Why not tell them to take a trip on down to Disney World? After all, that's what he told us to do after 9/11.
He could boost people's spirits by LEAVING!! Brighter days ahead? Didn't you tell that to the victims of Hurricane Katrina or Karina as your wife called it? They're still homeless. They're still jobless. Some are still living in tent cities. Some are still living in hazardous FEMA-provided mobile homes. Some still don't even know if their family and friends are dead or alive. Bodies are still turning up under the rubble. When are their brighter days coming George?
I truly feel for the people in Kansas and other towns that were hit by these recent tornadoes. But, I would suggest that they don't count on getting any federal help. The federal government is playing the blame game just like they did after Hurricane Katrina. Now they're blaming the governor of Kansas, saying it's her fault if there are delays. Don't count on help because the people in Mississippi and Louisiana are still waiting for their promised help. They're never going to get it, and neither are the people of Kansas.

"My mission today is to lift people's spirits as best as I possibly can," he said. "And hopefully touch somebody's soul by representing our country and to let people know that while there was a dark day in the past, there's brighter days ahead."

Snow, the Administration and the media say that Gov. Kathleen Sebelius only has to ask for help and she will get it.
That's the spin we are hearing out there... I just get how everyone can blame this governor when it's a fact that the National Guard and their equipment is in Iraq.
I'm sure Gov. Kathleen Sebelius has already asked for help, why dont this President stop trying to lift people's spirits and touch somebody soul and just do what he didn't do with Katrina...HELP the citizens of this country!

If Bush actually did that, it would mean that he was doing his job. We can't have that!!
The most sickening thing I heard this morning was in reference to Hurricane Katrina. Someone said, "Bush is making up for the failure during Hurricane Katrina by going to Kansas."
How is he making up for the Hurricane Katrina failure by going to Kansas? He isn't helping those people. They're still homeless and jobless. People are still searching for missing people. Bodies are still being discovered. You can't make up for something in another place by visiting somewhere else. But why would I expect any of these morons to understand that.
The governor of Kansas has asked for help. But every chance they get, the GOP and the Bushies turn around and blame her.

You hit the nail right on the head ParisL0ve2...The
The people caught in Hurricane Katrina are still homeless, lost and jobless. "People are still searching for missing people. Bodies are still being discovered. You can't make up for something in another place by visiting somewhere else."
