Why "Pro-Lifers" Are Assholes!!
Just when you think that it couldn't get any more absurd on the part of "pro-lifers," along comes a story like this.
This guy is a whackjob. First of all, I can't tell you how asinine and insulting it is to throw cash in a woman's face to prevent her from having an abortion. Have the "pro-life" nutcases run out of tactics to prevent abortions that they've now resorted to attempting to BRIBE women into not having an abortion? Clearly, that seems to be the case here.
To add insult to injury, if this asinine illegal scheme were to actually become law, a woman who takes the money must then endure the pregnancy and adopt out the child once it's born. There's no keeping the $500 and the baby. It's $500, no abortion, and then adoption. Nice!! You can't flash cash in a woman's face to prevent her from having an abortion, and think that it's okay because it's not. These asinine "pro-lifers" still have no clue. They don't understand that not all women and girls have abortions because they're selfish or can't afford the child. Many women and girls undergo abortions because they're rape or incest victims, or they do so because of medical reasons. But I wouldn't expect an asshole like this one to actually understand that.
Clearly he doesn't understand that you can't legislate what a woman does with her own body. I would suggest to this asshole that if it weren't for men and their happy little penises in the first place, women wouldn't end up pregnant. They wouldn't end up having to decide between an abortion, keeping the child, or giving it up for adoption. I also don't think that I need to remind this asshole that many men run, make excuses, deny the paternity of the child, etc. when a woman does reveal her pregnancy. Yet, we don't attack the men. We torment the women to no end who ultimately make the decision to terminate THEIR pregnancies. It's not the "pro-lifer's" pregnancies. It's someone else's pregnancy, and you have no say in what that woman decides to do.
Well of course this moron would reject it as "typical ridiculous criticism." He clearly doesn't know what the laws are in Texas and what the federal laws are. It's not the criticism that's ridiculous here. It's the very fact that this asshole would even suggest such a thing in the first place. He should go screw his wife, mistress, girlfriend, whatever and produce his own damn babies instead of sticking his nose into business that isn't his to be involved in!!
This is just yet another example of why "pro-lifers" are assholes, and should be labeled as such. They teach their children nothing but hate and contempt for other people's choices. They teach their children nothing but hate and contempt which is hurled at women who go to clinics. Why isn't anyone looking out for the welfare of these children? They have lunatics for parents, and their parents have nothing better to do than to torment innocent women. They have nothing better to do than commit crimes all in the name of saving a FETUS!! Perhaps we should be looking for ways to lock these people up instead of finding ways to lock up those who are involved in an abortion.
NEW BRAUNFELS, Texas (Reuters) -- A Texas legislator has proposed that pregnant women considering abortion be offered $500 not to end their pregnancies.
Republican State Sen. Dan Patrick, who also is a conservative radio talk show host, said Friday the money might persuade the women to go ahead and have babies, then give them up for adoption.

Patrick has filed legislation to make the payment state law, but the legislature has not voted on it.
His proposal calls for giving any woman going to an abortion clinic the $500 option, to be paid no more than 30 days after the baby is born and given up for adoption.
