Baby Sexually Assaulted At CATHOLIC Child Care Center

A 10 month old baby was sexually assaulted at a CATHOLIC child care center in Wisconsin last month. The supervisor of the center is on leave because he or she originally LIED to police.

Parents again plead for info in day care sex assault of toddler

July 31, 2007 SHEBOYGAN, Wis. - The parents of an 11-month-old toddler who they say was sexually assaulted at a church day care center last month asked again tonight for anyone with information to come forward.

Father Jason Schwaller says their daughter was in good health when she was dropped off at day care.
The girl -- who was present with her family at a news conference -- was at Our Lady of the Lakes Child Care Center in Random Lake on June 26th, according to court documents.

Later that night, her grandmother was changing the girl's diaper when she found blood.

The girl -- 10 months old at the time -- underwent reconstructive surgery at Children's Hospital of Wisconsin in Milwaukee hours later.

Court records say the injuries were consistent with sexual penetration within 24 hours.

Authorities say they are investigating and the church has cooperated fully.

Schwaller says his daughter is recovering from her injuries and still playing, laughing and giggling.

Child Care Center Supervisor On Leave During Sexual Assault Investigation

RANDOM LAKE, Wis. -- The supervisor of a church child care center in Sheboygan County is on leave while the sexual assault of a 10-month-old girl is investigated.

Authorities said the baby was sexually assaulted on June 26, around the time she was being cared for at Our Lady of the Lakes Child Care Center in Random Lake.

Court records say the supervisor initially misled investigators about who was working the day the child was found injured.

The suspension is required by state licensing regulations.

Investigators have conducted searches at the child care center, the church and the Fond du Lac County home of the center's supervisor.

The girl had surgery at Children's Hospital in Milwaukee to repair injuries suffered in the assault.

Why am I not surprised by this story? I'll tell you why. I'm not surprised because the Catholic Church has a history of covering up these types of crimes. Why should this be any different, given their history? I'm not saying that they're covering anything up. I'm saying that it wouldn't surprise me in the least if they did cover this up.

I find it very disturbing that the center supervisor would lie about who was working at the time of the assault. What does this person have to hide? This is a BABY you asshole!! This baby didn't deserve to be sexually assaulted, and then to turn around and lie is just downright reprehensible!! You would think that someone would want to do the right thing and tell the truth especially given the fact that this is a baby.

Filthy pigs!! I hope that whoever did this to this baby rots in hell!! They deserve it. And if the Church covers this up, they deserve to rot in hell too!!
