What One Australian Thinks Of Women

What do men really think about women? One Australian politician expressed his opinion for all the world to hear.

CANBERRA, Australia - A senior Australian lawmaker apologized Wednesday for saying a female politician did not deserve a leadership role because she had decided against having children.

What about men without children? Are they unqualified to hold a leadership position, or any position for that matter? Oh wait, that's right!! A man doesn't need to prove that he's worthy. He is automatically worthy. Whereas, a woman must prove her worth a billion times a day.

Bill Heffernan, a close friend of Prime Minister John Howard, had described Julia Gillard, the deputy leader of the opposition Labor Party, as "deliberately barren."

So what if this woman never had children? Does that make her any less of a woman because she decided that she didn't want to be a human birthing machine? God forbid that she didn't feel it was necessary to pop out a child every nine months just to prove that she was a woman.

On another note, many women do decide that they don't want children. They decide that THEIR life isn't going to end if they don't become a mother. It's their right!! While we're on the subject of motherhood, I will say one more thing. There are also many women out there who can't be a mother for whatever reason. I guess that makes them less of a woman too. After all, there are some people out there that believe women were only put on this Earth for one thing, and that's having babies.

Gillard, who has said she might have became a mother if she had fallen in love with a man who wanted children, dismissed Heffernan as old-fashioned and has not asked for an apology.

While I'm also talking about fatherhood, I want to say something. There are plenty of men out there that don't want to be fathers. But we don't thumb our noses at them. There are plenty of men who do impregnate women, and aren't man enough to stick around to be a father to their children. There are also plenty of men who have children, but they don't give their children the time of day because they're too busy doing something else.

The double standards are not only ridiculous, but they're disgusting. If this is what some men think of women, maybe it's a good thing that there are women out there that refuse to have children with these jackasses. Who wants to procreate with someone like that? Certainly not me!! I wouldn't want a child of mine growing up to think it's okay to talk about women like this, and to treat them like they're the dog shit on the bottom of a shoe. Sadly, there are people out there that teach their children this crap. It's no wonder why children today are so messed up. They learn from their asinine parents!!
