Jesus Christ was not God, and Mary was not a virgin, according to a controversial new book written by an Australian Catholic priest.

“This whole matter regarding Jesus being God ... not only does violence to my own intelligence, but must be a sticking point,” Father Peter Dresser writes in his new book, "God Is Big. Real Big."

“For millions of people trying to make some kind of sense of the Christian religion ... No human being can ever be God, and Jesus was a human being. It is as simple as that.”

Dresser claims Joseph was Jesus’s father, Mary was not a virgin – and actually had six children – and that the story of the resurrection should not be taken literally.

Dresser's book has angered conservative Catholics across Australia.

“The Council of Nicaea settled the question that Christ was God in 325, so he is 1700 years out of date," Sydney priest Anthony Robbie said. “The rest is a regurgitation of every discredited 19th-century liberal Protestant German cliche in the book.”

This to me is hilarious!!

I'll leave you with these thoughts. How can Jesus be "God" if Christians have been told their entire lives via the Bible and their churches that Jesus is the SON OF "GOD"? Jesus is "God" and thus he impregnated his own mother with himself? That's a very good trick!! Sorry, can't be done!!

Explaining Ashley Todd

Just a short comment on this whack-a-loon.

Here's what she was "thinking".

One, she was trying to get some kind of attention on herself.

AND

Two, she was attempting to (eye roll) somehow (don't ask me; I'm not the lunatic) get her man, Johnny Mac, back "into the race".

As if McCain had a chance from the beginning of this thing.

So Miss Ashley decided that she'd frame a black man for the love of John McCain.

I do so love how her story changed from the phantom black man pushing her down to him trying to feel her up. Because, as we all know, a black man can't control himself when it comes to sex, right? Did I roll my eyes yet?

Here's what I believe her punishment, when it comes, should be.

Jail time. Not rubber room time. Why? Because she falsified evidence, she knowingly lied to police, etc.

On top of that, I believe that every last black man in America should be able to sue the shit out of her ass, especially those that live in Pittsburgh, especially those that are six foot four inches tall.

Had the police believed her story for one instant, they would have gone out and arrested or at least detained every last black man that they could find, whether he "fit the description" or not.

For that, I believe that every last black man in America is entitled to get something out of this desperately deluded wench.

Finally, this:

If it had not been Ashley Todd, it would have been (and has been) someone else. This is America, after all, where crazy people (read: everyday citizens) do stupid and illegal shit to draw a camera.

UPDATE: KDKA in Pittsburgh reports:

Police say a campaign volunteer confessed to making up a story that a mugger attacked her and cut the letter B in her face after seeing her McCain bumper sticker.

At a news conference this afternoon, officials said they believe that Ashley Todd's injuries were self-inflicted.

Todd, 20, of Texas, is now facing charges for filing a false report to police.

Todd initially told police that she was robbed at an ATM in Bloomfield and that the suspect became enraged and started beating her after seeing her GOP sticker on her car.

Police investigating the alleged attack, however, began to notice some inconsistencies in her story and administered a polygraph test.

Authorities, however, declined to release the results of that test.

Investigators did say that they received photos from the ATM machine and "the photographs were verified as not being the victim making the transaction."

This afternoon, a Pittsburgh police commander told KDKA Investigator Marty Griffin that Todd confessed to making up the story.

Todd told investigators that she didn't remember what happened.

Police say they do not believe any other people were involved; and her friends believed the story about the attack.

A McCain campaign volunteer who reported that a tall black man robbed her and then cut a "B" onto her cheek after seeing a McCain bumper sticker on her car has been given a polygraph test because of "inconsistencies" in her story, police said.

Among other things, police said photos and bank card information from an automated teller machine where the college student claimed she was robbed do not show her using the machine at the time, police said.

Pittsburgh police spokeswoman Diane Richard wouldn't release the polygraph results, but said, "we're still looking at some inconsistencies" in the woman's story.

Police said the student, Ashley Todd, of College Station, Texas, who is white, told them she was attacked by a 6-foot-4 black man Wednesday night.

Richard said police have not ruled out that the woman was attacked as she claimed, and said inconsistencies deal primarily with how she described the attack.

"We're just trying to judge the validity of some of the information we received from her," Richard said. "We understand when you are under duress that sometimes you can't recollect things. We're just looking at all the angles."

Among the differences in her accounts are whether she lost consciousness, whether she remembers handing over money and how the man assaulted her, police said.

The report of the attack Thursday prompted the Republican presidential candidate and his running mate, Sarah Palin, to call Todd expressing their concern. Barack Obama's campaign also issued a statement wishing Todd well and hoping the attacker would be swiftly brought to justice.

The Associated Press could not immediately locate Todd or her family.

Ethan Eilon, executive director of the College Republican National Committee, told reporters that Todd worked in New York for several months before moving to Pennsylvania two weeks ago to continue working for the group.

Eilon declined to comment on the investigation Friday or to help The Associated Press contact Todd. In a follow-up e-mail, Eilon said, "We think this girl has endured enough and that this is going to be something for her and her family to work through."

Richard, the police spokeswoman, said police have pictures of the victim and her injuries, but are not releasing them. She said they are "more or less" consistent with a picture that has surfaced on the Internet that show a woman with a black eye and a red backward "B" that looks like a welt or scrape on her right cheek.

"It's not like her cheek was carved out," Richard said. "It's more like a scrape or a scratch."

In her initial account, Richard said, Todd attempted to use the ATM when the man approached her from behind, put a knife with a 4- to 5-inch blade to her throat and demanded money. She told police she handed the assailant $60 and walked away.

Todd told investigators that she suspected the man then noticed a John McCain sticker on her car, became angry and punched her in the back of the head, knocking her to the ground and telling her "you are going to be a Barack supporter," police said in a statement.

She said he continued to punch and kick her while threatening "to teach her a lesson for being a McCain supporter," police said. She said he then sat on her chest, pinned her hands down with his knees and scratched a backward letter "B" into her face using what she believed to be a dull knife.

The woman told police she didn't seek medical attention, but instead went to a friend's apartment nearby and called police about 45 minutes later.

Police have reinterviewed Todd at least once since her initial statement, Richard said.

In the subsequent discussions with investigators, according to the police statement, Todd said she was accosted as she approached the bank and fled her attacker, fell to the ground and the assailant began beating and fondling her.

Police Cmdr. Larry Ross, who is in charge of the police precinct where the attack was first reported, said Todd's story has continued to change.

"I guess she elaborated more when she went down to the bureau headquarters. She added other things to it that we didn't have at first, that she didn't tell the initial officer," Ross said.

Anyone with a brain knew that this bitch was a liar. It's pretty simple, really!! If someone was intent on mugging you and getting away as fast as possible before being caught, why in the hell would the mugger stand and rant? Why in the hell would the mugger stop to take the time to carve letters into someone's face? Surely someone would have seen something. But the fact is, nobody did because it never happened. Anyone with a brain knew that this bitch was a liar when she "refused" medical attention. She claims that she was beaten in the back of the head, kicked, and mutilated. If that actually happened, she would have been pretty injured especially being beat in the head.

I don't want to hear any sympathy for this bitch. She doesn't need couch time. She needs jail time!!

A Perfect Example Of The Brainwashing Of America

A while back, I said it was going to be interesting to see how the so-called "anti-war left" would feel about Barack Obama and his policies.

Yesterday, I got another example of not just the brainwashing of America, but just how they'd feel about Obama's policies.

Actually, I got another example of just how "anti-war" this so-called "left" really is when Barack Obama himself talked about how "honored" he was that Colin Powell, one of the liars (some would say the Chief Liar) that placed the US in Iraq to kill, kill, kill, had endorsed him.

The crowd went completely ape shit, loving every word that was coming out of Obama's mouth.

So much for being "anti-war".

I have long subscribed to the theory that, in America, you can simply drop out of sight for a year or two and, when you return, the drooling morons of this country, whether they can be considered informed or not, will love you.

John Fund beat the shit out of one of his girlfriends (either his girlfriend or her mother, who used to be his girlfriend). He never paid the consequences of his actions and disappeared. A year later, he appeared on Hardball as if nothing had ever happened. And that's the way he was treated, too, as if nothing ever happened.

Henry Kissinger is actually revered by a whole spectrum of people: right, left, center, insane.

Celebrities do it all the time. Sometimes, they even get a "reality show" and all is forgiven. Or they completely destroy themselves and go away for a little while, then they become the darling of the country. No offense to any of the following, as I think each of them are talented and I'm glad that they've turned their lives around but look at Charlie Sheen, Robert Downey, Jr. and Christian Slater, to name just a small sampling.

And now it's Colin Powell's turn.

He lied in front of the American people and the world, told us all that Iraq had weapons of mass destruction, that they could launch them in forty-five minutes or less (or your pizza is free), he held up a fake vial of fake anthrax and said, "Be afraid, be very afraid!" and then said, "If we don't go to war, there's going to be a HUGE mushroom cloud and you're going to be dead and so are your children, unless, of course, Saddam decides just to invade and eat your children, which he WILL do."

And Powell's done much more than that.

He helped to cover up the My Lai massacre. He lied for Reagan and Casper Wineburger. He helped to murder countless Iraqis in the first go-round back in 1990-91. And he told Seymour Hersh, in Hersh's book "Against All Enemies" (Ballantine, 1998), "We are still not sure if there is a Gulf War Syndrome." According to Hersh, Powell said that his responsibilities to his men and women ended in 1993, when he retired from the military. Powell said, "If there are still some veterans who say I should have done more or said more, my answer is, I wasn't in the government."

This is a guy that should be in prison, or under the prison, anywhere in the world for his lies, lies that led to the murders of millions of people in Iraq, including US soldiers.

Yet, Obama is "honored" by his endorsement and Obama's sycophantic followers cheer like they've lost their damn minds because, in fact, they have.

People questioned why I said, long back in January, that Barack Obama was "the biggest threat that we have in this country".

If some magician can make you believe that Colin Powell is worth a shit, if he can wave his magic wand and tell you that he's "honored" and you should be, too, despite what Colin Powell has said and done, if he could make you believe that your eyes and ears have deceived you, that Colin Powell is a decent human being, what would you call that magician, if not the biggest threat that we have in this country?

GOP club offers 'Obama Bucks' while Democrats rib Palin

The story about Diane Fedele, the president of the Republican women's club in San Bernardino County who came up with "Obama Bucks," is making the rounds. Plenty of people are outraged. Others, like Rightpundits, say yeah, it's crummy, but claim the imagery may be losing its power. Fedele told The Times:

"If I was racist, I would have looked at it through racist eyes," she said. "I am not racist, which is why it probably didn't register."

Club member Kristina Sandoval agreed.

"None of us are racists," she said.

The use of watermelon, ribs and fried chicken was innocent, she said.

"Everyone eats those foods, it's not a racial thing."

That's not how club member Acquanetta Warren -- a Fontana city councilwoman and an African American -- saw it.

"My daughter who is 16 was standing over my shoulder when I opened the e-mail, and her mouth dropped wide open," Warren said. "I actually turned the screen away and sent her to her room so she wouldn't see. I don't want to talk to anyone; I want a written apology so the public knows that this is not right and this is not representative of the way Republicans think."

She's known Fedele a long time and is shocked by the newsletter.

Meanwhile, Obama supporters have been getting a bit naughty themselves by offering up Sarah Palin in her own words, though not necessarily in the right order.

PALINdrome, a new-ish web site by a Culver City blogger (LAist had it first) gathered words from three Sarah Palin speeches and, via the magic of Adobe's Flash Player, lets users rearrange Palin's words. The results, archived on the site, range from partisan to scatological to simply absurd.

Eighteen more days until Election Day, and we still haven't had our October surprise.

According to reports, Iran "forced" an airplane to land after it entered Iranian airspace.

U.S. says business jet forced down in Iran

BAGHDAD, Iraq (CNN) -- The U.S. military coalition in Iraq confirmed Tuesday that a business jet -- not a U.S. military aircraft -- was recently forced down in Iran due to an airspace violation.

"The airplane is now being confirmed as a light transport plane with no Americans onboard," Multi-National Forces-Iraq said in a statement issued Tuesday. "From what we have been seeing, it was a Falcon business jet. We have accounted for all our aircraft and none are missing."

The U.S. coalition in Iraq had no information on who owned the aircraft, stressing that it was not a registered American plane.

Iran's semi-official Fars News Agency initially reported that five American military officials were on board the U.S. aircraft. But other Iranian media reports -- quoting Iranian officials -- said the aircraft was Hungarian and no Americans were on the plane.

Iranian officials told Iran's state-run Arabic language channel Al-Alam that the incident happened a week ago and that the plane was carrying humanitarian workers.

Fars later changed its Farsi language report, citing other Iranian and Arab media as saying the plane was not an American aircraft

Fars also initially reported that aircraft, which it called a "Falcon fighter," entered Iranian airspace at a low altitude from Turkey to avoid radar detection, despite repeated warnings by the Islamic Republic Air Force. It said the plane also carried three civilians.

Washington is monitoring the reports, but White House spokeswoman Dana Perino said "as far as we know (they are) totally bogus."

U.S. National Security Council Spokesman Gordon Johndroe also said there is no indication that the reports are accurate.

"We're looking into the various and conflicting reports coming from the Iranian 'news' agencies, but do not have any information at this time that would lead us to believe they are correct," he said.

Fars said the aircraft, which was en route to Afghanistan, was forced to land at an Iranian airport that it did not name. Fars reported that the eight people aboard were released "after daylong interrogations" that revealed the aircraft had "unintentionally" violated Iran's airspace.

Fars said the aircraft was later allowed to continue on to Afghanistan.

Two top U.S. military officials told CNN's Barbara Starr that no U.S. military aircraft has been forced down. The U.S. military has an F-16 Fighting Falcon, but it is a one-seat jet fighter aircraft that is used by the U.S. Air Force for air-to-air and air-to-ground combat.

The Dassault Falcon is a European-made private passenger business jet that resembles a Lear jet. It can seat a crew of two and as many as 10 passengers. It's used for passenger transport, but also has military uses.

What's the problem? The United States does this all the time. Planes enter restricted airspace. U.S. military planes or helicopters force those planes to either land or fly out of the airspace, and they interrogate the pilots. All of a sudden it's World War III when Iran does the same thing!! Talk about insanity and hypocrisy!!

It doesn't matter what country of origin that plane came from. It's not the business of the United States what Iranian officials do in IRAN!!
