RePUKElicans Cry Over Five-Day Work Week
Several RePUKElicans (that's Republicans) are not seeking re-election because they're upset over having to work five days a week.
Cry me a river bitches!! When they start having to work like REAL people do, then they can start pissing and moaning about how unfair it is. When they start having to work three to four jobs just to make ends meet, seven days a week, and for about 16 to 18 hours a day, then they can start pissing and moaning about how unfair it is. They're hardly ever in session because it seems like every time you turn around they're on some kind of break. When they're in session, they're hardly ever there.
I, and many Americans would love to "work" like them and make their salary. They do nothing, give themselves a raise all the time, and then they have the balls to bitch when someone expects them to EARN THEIR SALARY BY ACTUALLY WORKING!!
If they are so concerned about their marriages suffering, why don't they move their spouses and children to D.C.? Wait, that would interfere with their "affairs"!! My bad!!
GOP congressmen quit because of five-day work week
Nine Republican congressmen have so far announced that they will not be running for re-election. One of those lawmakers, Rep. Ray LaHood (R-IL), complained “that the Democrats’ new five-day workweek” is part of the reason they’re all retiring:
“I do think the schedule and the flying is a huge pain for people, particularly those who are from the Midwest or even further West,” he said, adding that it’s “probably the worst part of the job.”
“I think that has played into these retirement announcements,” said the seven-term congressman from Peoria.
In Dec. 2006, Rep. Jack Kingston (R-GA) also griped about having to work five days each week, stating, “Marriages suffer. The Democrats could care less about families — that’s what this says.”

"That's uniquely American."
